    Reducing Current ( ie improving power factor) will reduce the copper loss. So there must be some reduction in power consumption.

    Domestic bills are based on KWH not KWAH so capacitor only increase power factor without reducing bill.

    Yes, you are correct. Capacitor only increase the PF value, it doesn't mean that it save the electricity bill. 💡

    If you fix the capacitor it will improve the power factor and it will increase some of power consumption. Because the capacitor will take power for working .

    Real power can not be changed only reactive power changed . So there will be no significant change of KWH measure if we connect capacitor or not, only KVARH changed. When pf improved or approaches 1 then current decreases and when pf decreases then current increases . So power remains same.

    Resistive load ka PF 1 hi rehta he,
    Induction load jaise motor pump mixi etc laga ne se PF 0.6-0.8 Tak variation ho jata he. Us waqt Capacitor ka use hota he

    If we directly connect capacitor one side to Phase and one side to neutral (means if we directly connect it to the socket), will it blast or not. People says do not connect capacitor more than few seconds other wise it will blast. Please reply.

      Capacitor is connected between phase supply and neutral supply always it will not blast
      But if the capacitor is faulty it will surely

    I appreciate your effort for making the video but just want to clear one thing here (I hope you would be aware of that sometimes we mistook between two, so its fine) that you switched between the 2 i. e. Leading power factor is the one in which current leads the voltage(not the voltage leads the current as you said in the video) and vice versa.
    Hope the viewers would not be confused.

    Ya theory to Shunt Capacitor k h ,jismai reactive power ko load side mai badhane k liya use kiya jata h aur from power system hum load ko inductive nature aur reactive power consuming k hi manta iska liya humlog substation m Static Voltage regulator (SVC) jo Combination h Capacitor and inductor with thyristor switching k use karte h na ki shunt capacitor k kuki Shunt capacitor use reactive power ko badhane k liya hota h par kabhi kabhi reactive power ko ghatana bhi par h kuki Summer aur Winter k load alag alag hota h , isliya iska use na kare.

    All home appliances are run on 230v but when you supply more than or less than the energy meter will run fast or Slow Because energy Meter base Voltage is 230v.
    So either install Stabilizer or right value mfd capacitor.

      Voltage at the Energy Meter potential terminals that matters not the voltage at load point., Current flowing through current terminals and power factor between current and voltage vectors at metering terminals matters. Installation of stabiliser after meter affects voltage at load , meter measures the input power of the stabiliser.

    Inductive load me to voltage आगे रहता है उसके बाद करंट रहता है
