I've been following thus channel for a while and it's been helping me out so much! I'm using Ableton for live looping guitars, bass, synthesizer and various other instruments. I'm using my Apollo twin and using my MIDI footswitch for easy accessibility and looping. My question is how can I get the best possible sound when I plug in through my PA? Should I be routing my instruments two different outputs? Should I use multiple computers? Should I get a DIY rig? Should I also be playing with my amps?Got any suggestions here for my output sound?
Hi might be a but late. You can either mix it in Ableton and send a stereo output into mixer. You could sub mix into groups and send the groups into seperate channels (all drums, all guitars etc) or you could send individual channels (Kick in, Snare Top) into your mixer as far as better sound. That's one that would have to be experimented with. I don't know your set up to comment. However help to discuss this more with you. I have done my fair share of playback and Ableton stuff. Let me know :)
Yeah, numbers of ways to skin a cat as they say. I imagine Digital performer was the meta. Ableton is the most common now in most cases but any DAW can run playback it's set up correctly.
Does anyone know the title of the song playing in the background of this video?

Greed caused playback. Shame.
