Very interesting and thanks for laying this out. I do have a question about this because I use the component diagram to model our microservice architecture that uses a message bus (like ActiveMQ) for communcation to other components. Also it exposes a REST API for external systems. Is the component diagram suitable for something like this? I think it is but I struggle a bit with the modeling because all these Active MQ connection clutter my model. Maybe this will be an interesting subject for a video? Also a modeling question that puzzled me. How do I create visualize an assembly connection between two components without interfaces showing twice? What I mean is that the required and provided interface of each component is visible, but when adding an assembly connection EA draws another cup/ball interface between them making it a bit of a mess...
@oschotgerrits, this is a perfect case example! This will also help in demonstrating what @user-ht3wt3iq3d is asking for as well. When I finish my current project, I will move Component Diagrams up in my queue. Thank you for the suggestion and support. This will be a fun project to present :)
@@UMLOperator Thanks a lot! This helps a great deal. Looking forward to it. Oh and about the question I had in the same comment earlier is perfectly answered in one of you videos already called "Sparx EA Strict Connector Syntax". So no need to do a follow up on that.
could you please demonstrate on how Class ,Component are Interface are interacted & Implemented?
