Make sure you cover you engine when the intake manifold is removed due to things falling into your engine. 22:25 prime example where we see gasoline drip into the engine.otherwise great video did this earlier in the week. Took me hours lol you made it look effortless.
This video gives me the confedence that I needed. I'm glad you didn't take the whole car apart just to get to those because I'm going to be doing it soon. I will be recording just incase.
Thank you! Very helpful video. I will admit my anxiety was high watching you with the intake wide open. I am clumsy so I expect the worst, but good job for not dropping anything down inside. Lol
Great video and excellent commentary. Very informative. My wife's car started sputtering out at 2500 rpms. It runs great but no matter what, at 2500 it goes to crap. Could that be injectors?
You are a blessing! This job is super expensive and i fortunately have another fuel injector. Do you know if it is a common problem with a lean code aswell?
You are most welcome. I did this job to clear a P0420 (catalyst efficiency low). Not sure how common it is with lean codes. If your car has a rough idle but runs fine once on the road, I suggest checking for vacuum leaks.
I've replaced those hoses from local parts store. Nissan does not sell them. Good news is its only like 5$ for a roll to replace them all. Just cut to length. Get the one in the pack for better size.
Good video. But dude, those are some of the dirtiest intake manifolds ports on a VQ engine I’ve ever seen. This motor needs an oil catch can mod desperately.
Best nissan altima 3.5 v6 video ever. Very informative and finally a 3.5 v6 with all sensors exposed. Thank you boss man. Beautifully done.
Great video my guy and thank you for showing us the rear of the manifold!

I liked when he took the fuel rail bolts off and almost dropped one into the motor made me jump

You're not wrong 😅, I should've at least taped the area. I'm glad the video helped!
Thanks! Your video helped me replace the fuel injectors on my Nissan. It was a lot easier than I thought it would be.
Pll😊
Thanks for this! this is exactly the video i needed for my next fix on my car.
To anyone trying this it is easier to remove the studs on the intake before trying to remove the intake. 4 total use a E8 star socket.
Where on the intake?
Well explained ty ❤❤
awesome video. will be replacing my fuel injectors, spark plugs, and igniton coils here in about a month. cant wait to save like $3-400 in labor lol.
Who do you go to for that price just to remove the intake let me tell you lol good thing I found this video it should guide me wish me luck
Thanks! Your video helped me LOVE YOU MAN
F*** yeah! Glad hear.
Very nice. Looks more than anticipated.

Glad you liked the video. I'm not convinced it's the fuel injectors in your case. It's there a "service" light on of any kind?
Put towels or rags in the intake holes. Injector clips can be hard to retrieve.
Good stuff!
So why not cover the intake after taking off the manifold ,any thing could drop inside the the cylinder heads
Gasoline was dripping in around 22:25
It fkn happen to me man I dropped the small fkn nut
Very good l like how you the details lm happy you a good video

@@Mil-usosmy only code is a trans speed sensor but I get 14.8 mpg with no misfire? Spark plugs gone bad?
You make the job so difficult for not removing the filter housing and the throttle body
Hi, I own a nissan murano 2003. Same engine I guess. The hose you are removing in min 8:37 what is it for?
One hose goes to brake booster and short one goes to pcv valve on valve cover
What are the brittle hoses called im trying to get more for my car
Hello, would you be kind enough to tell me the name of the brittle hose please? 18:04
PCV hose
PCV = positive crankcase ventilation
I've replaced those hoses from local parts store. Nissan does not sell them. Good news is its only like 5$ for a roll to replace them all. Just cut to length. Get the one in the pack for better size.
I second that.
Getting those 12mm out is so hard im stuck i cant find them please help
@ 9:14 , what hose is that? Mine has a tear in it
Dude next time cover up intake if something fails into it lots of problems later

This was an auction bought car that was brought to me. It needed all sorts of tlc lol
@@Mil-usos ha, somebody must have drove the crap off that car. Hope all turns out well.
Pcv valve stuck open open dirty intake ports
Bro what would you do if you drop a the nut in the cylinder 6 it fkn happen to me I don't no what to do
Magnetic retrieval tool. A flexible stick with a magnet at the end of it.
Wheres the fuel line ?
You don't gotta remove those wires to pull out the manifold tho
where the knock sensor at
Scary to watch him remove bolts with the intake manifold uncovered. Duct tape the holes so nothing falls in.
I give 5 stras
