- So todays video I give my thoughts on the sata 1500 solvent gun and let me tell you I was very pleased. Also, I painted a f250 and talk about products I use to prep for paint.

If you get to try one I promise you wont be disappointed. It packs a punch for the price and very easy to adjust. Lightweight as well..sata 5500 and the 1500 together is a solid combo.

nice work, could you tell me your setup on the gun ? i cant get a decent flat finish, it works great but does some kind of orange peel. I cant find the perfect spot yet
I have the same sata 1500. What fitting do I need so I can use the pps 2.0 cups?
Damn that looks good bro!! I work at a ford dealership and that happens to me all the time. But my manager is good at explaining to customers that Orange peel is a factory defect lol we have even had some customers pay us to polish the rest to match our texture.
You know its mostly on the big trucks like the 250s. A lot of times I lower my pressure to match the texture which I hate cause I feel like a crappy painter. Lol win some lose some gotta love the collision work. Hope all is well brother

@@juanmata2433 man it's always like that. Get a lot of work and they go hiring everyone then slows down and everyone fighting to paint a bumper. Lol it's slow everywhere brother.

5500 to my walcom?
If so mannnn it's hard to beat that walcom for clear. Dont get me wrong sata is no slouch but I have to give edge to walcom. Lets hope sata dont see this and hate me. 😁
I have 4000 hvl P 1.3 but I have some time on that Gun. But need a cheap gun
I usually spray at 35 to 38 psi to replicate factory orange peel
Lowering pressure has worked for me but I will definitely give it a try and see how it looks.
What is your personal review on the Sata 1500 .Can u blend good with this gun putting on solvent. And what other Sata gun would you compare this gun to. I trust your opinion bro. Explain Pro and Cons
So far what my thoughts are this..it delivers a great wide pattern which is awesome. As far as blend goes I have only shot the truck and a bumper but hope to get a difficult color like a silver to see how it does for blending. Pros are very user friendly, easy to adjust and very inexpensive considering being a sata. Also, a lot smaller gun compared to the newer 5000 per say. I would compare it to my nr2000 from sata which is also I favorite gun of mine. Cons are why did my rep never show me gun this before. 😁 hope this helps brother
Cause really want purchase one jus for blending cause we only spray solvent
This gun is very afforable at around 400 to 450 in my area which is cheap for a sata but truly this gun is well worth every penny. Hoping I can do a blending job soon and will do a video on that to see how it holds up

Yes. There are other companies that sell lesonal but with buying parts as well this the route company went with. Only thing that sucks is if I order something today it wont be in til late the next day.
