The animators sure knew what they were doing when they made this episode, because the animation and visuals of it were so beautiful. My favorite things about this series are your reactions to it, Hime, as well as the interactions between Momo and Okarun.

Season 2 is already confirmed and it starts with a character that hasn't been introduced but is in the OP ;) you know our boy if you read the manga! all the more support the more seasons get animated! with how much traction this manga and anime is getting with it already have been VERY popular in Japan with manga alone, it'll go FAR! I'm glad Dandadan is finally getting the recognition it deserves!

if you didn’t know too, she actually did dance atop a building before jumping and committing suicide. Japan has strict laws about portraying stuff like that in anime so they made it more subtle. btw, if you think that was sad, watch it subbed, the kids voice is even more sad 😢😢😢😢

Side note, it is possible to break the ties behind your back, just a bit harder. It is worth practicing though. It works with duct tape too. Should be taught to everyone, guys and gals alike. As a mangareader, the backstory was a masterpiece with the animations, the song, the edition. Even they didn't have (maybe) the right to show clearly the Su*cide (Jumping from a buiding after her dance) for many reasons (Show for teenagers , pb of this kind of incidents in Japan etc...), i found this version really impressive. Even at a moment, we saw a view turning in 180° like the famous object, "Dancing doll who made music" (i don't remember the real name).

I know which character she's talking about. And she's right. I, too can't spoil it but after "that" backstory your boi was all in the feels! It will get there. It will take awhile. That backstory was worse. But this episode really went there with this backstory.

It really didn't. And that's okay. The dub doesn't need to be objectively better for you to enjoy it. Just enjoy what you want instead of making it a constant competition or comparison. You'll be happier that way.
