I first found out about Gregory Crewdson's work sometime in the late 80's or early 90's. Back then our PBS, used to have a weekly spot about art which aired weekly. It was a wonderful show but, I would mainly look forward to it if it was about photography. I got to see the production of the photo where the girl is floating in the living room. Boy! I was fascinated with this man's vision. Yes, he has taken photography to new heights. But, I too prefer his early works where there was not so, much post productions as mention by an earlier subscriber. Joel has done a really outstanding job here. I got to see more of this man's work. Thank you Joel.
Merci Joël … voilà un artiste immense qui a compris que pour sublimer une photo on doit y ajouter une histoire avec de l’émotion et de la poésie … Salutation du Québec
I am impressed 💯 Some years ago I watched a RUclips video portraying him and his work. At that time I wasn't "hooked" but I am now. Abolutely stunning work. So I think there must a higher force in the universe that' is leading me his way again. 💥
Larry Sultan has been a significant influence on many photographers, including Todd Hido. Thank you for viewing and commenting. Cheers and happy Easter!
C'est un beau travail, mais je trouve ça un peu trop américano-centré dans l'esthétique, et finalement assez inexpressif et déconnecté du vivant. Les poses figées des personnages n'arrangent pas forcément la narration. Trop de production tue le réel…

This is fantastic and well done. Thanks for creating this great video on Crewdson'e work.
Glad you enjoyed it!
I love Crewdson’s work. To me these are movies lasting 1/60th of a second that you could literally stare at for an hour and twenty minutes.
Glad you liked it!
I love how you phrased it. I do think that you are absolutely correct too. God Bless

Thank you, great video. Diane Arbus is prononced Dee Anne. You are doing a great job, thanks again.
Thanks for that!
Some of the interior shots remind me a little of Larry Sultan and his photos of domestic life in the Los Angeles suburbs.
