You could video paint dry for 20 minutes and just be talking about your day or a memory of childhood and I (and everyone else) would watch it until the very end. It’s not all about the babies, we watch you guys because y’all are amazing people. You’re both so kind and see the world in a very different way than most. There’s a kindness in both your hearts that I admire. And even if you were cleaning up poop, I would watch because it’s not just about the chore, you and Lester somehow always find a way to talk about a memory or say something profound that I’ve never thought of before. We all love you guys so much. And honestly, I wish I could watch a new video of yours all day every single day. But I know it’s not possible because you guys work so hard, at work and on the farm.
Boring? Your vlogs are never boring... going with you to take care of and enjoy the animals is one of the most enjoyable things, especially during these crazy times! Momma Goldie now gets to teach the baby chicks how and what to eat, how to drink water by demonstration. It's going to be interesting to see if she builds a nest she prefers... and have you move the unhatched 🥚
Hi Jami, Goldie is scratching at the hay to look for grubs and insects to feed the chicks. You will need to get chick crumbs for them that's what we call them here in Scotland. They pretty much look after themselves but will sleep under Goldie at night to keep warm. They are so cute, you might have to put up some smaller netting so they can't get out of the co-op.

And there’s nothing I love more than watching your bird videos. Actually my bird also loves watching your videos. Anytime he hears cornholio, the donkeys, or Nate, he starts squawking right back! My bird can talk so when he hears Nate he says “THANK YOU!!” Over and over again lol. So as a bird of all shapes and sizes lover, I can not wait to watch these chicks grow ❤️
Make sure u dip their beaks in the water. They need water also take the other eggs out and put them on the ground because the babies can't get back in the box.

Yes yes yes babies for Goldie Hawn and Jami. I'm so proud of Goldie for sitting on her eggs for so long and working so hard to become a Mama. She was so determined and wasn't giving up and Fidel helped her out by bringing her the new rooster 🐓🐓 since Nate was to small a breed to mate with the hens. New chicks for the farm means more eggs to donate to the community or sale them to help buy chicken feed for the growing population of chicken's on the farm. Much love to you all from Arkansas.

I'd love for some of them to be silkies….the ones I got from tractor sply were every different kind. But the silkies looked liked they were always ready for church with feathered hats😂💜

Keep an eye on their butts, the brown one has some poop and for a week or so you have to check that their butts don't get plugged with poop or they will die from not being able to poop, if it gets plugged we had success soaking in warm water and GENTLY GENTLY GENTLY peeling it off, but SO SO gentle.
I've not looked through the other posts and someone may have already mentioned that you should block off the bottom of the gate before a chick escapes through it and can't get back. Also the bluish egg looks to me to be a duck egg.

@Carolyn mann I've raised chickens for many years, that hen can and will keep them in there. She will block them and peck them to keep them away.
