With sleep mod and body dragging mod, I used to just find a decent gun, kill the army at the outpost, loot, and stash all the loot in 1 body, sleep for them to respawn, repeat. When you run out of patience, drag the body to Sid and sell all the loot. Funny how 50KG can make you unable to move, yet dragging a body 500KG worth of loot is doable.
