So strange that bartenders sell stashes with flash drives which their technician need. Useful, but stupid, Call of Pripyat instruments make much more sense.
Well think about it... Anybody who buys a stash from barkeep is probably going to bring the loot back to rostok, and the duty technician. It will get back to them either way, and all you know is that it might be in any one of the dozens of random stashes he sells to stalkers. Why send them to look for it, and not just wait for them the inevitably bring it back looking for a payday?
I don't know if this happens to you guys but in my game, if you go to the swamps without picking up the very first flash drive (reward) from trader (Docent Suslov) you cannot get it if you come back and subsequently lose the armor upgrade for the rest of the game.
Would you consider doing one on the locations of the tools in call of Pripyat? I really enjoy your content and I would like to see you cover it (+ I usually come back to these types of videos and yours are the best!)

To be optimal, I often wait for the bandits to rob me in the garbage after the dark valley segment before collecting any reward/turning in any quest. That allows me to accumulate more than enough money to fully upgrade a good quality suit and any weapon of choice before going to Agroporom.
Reminds of me of how I intentionally put something innoccuous like a single piece of bread into the chest in Yanov Station for Snag to steal, wait until it happens and only then use the chest as a proper stash.
@@cam5816 They steal both your money and equipment, and you can only get your equipment back so it's important not to have too much cash after dark valley, you'll lose it all!

I didn’t even realize it had happened, I thought I just paid a fee. I was hoping I could just run past them or something though if I can’t store my money anywhere. Awwww maaan, the state of the Drifter's stash is quite sad, really. I was trying to get my Chaser to max spec & been looking at tutorials, but sadly I've completed the Drifter's rescue mission a looong time ago, and he has already spontaneously died in the middle of Rookie Village :(
Turns out, I won't be able to get the first one (I ram for cover when the Emission startarted, so I was unable to climb in time) Nor the third on Cordon (Drifter died before I could get)
Just an FYI. It costs 50k to fully upgrade the Seva suit for elemental 60k for battle build at the bandit base in the Garbage. Not sure if you standing matters. I'm at 2.1 (honor? respect?) not sure what to call it, with bandit faction.
This video is really helpful, but when I was trying to rescue Drifter in Cordon for him to give me the stash that he is supposed to offer, I maybe have found Drifter waiting for me at the place to shoot those dogs, but no matter how long I was waiting, dogs never showed up. I am not sure if this is the bug you were talking about in the video but that was my only problem.
It would be good then, to collect all of them and give them to the mechanics after the bandits rob you at the garbage. That would give you then some quick money after losing all.
1:40 so if I didn’t go back to the clear sky camp to get those rewards, and then the clear sky took the base on their own without me helping, thus progressing to the next stage of the quest. Am I screwed? I never got those rewards from the trader
Also what is up with that group of stalkers in cordon that ask for 500 doubles over and over? I paid them twice and then gave the line military guy a pistol too and he sprinted away at light speed. I’m so confused

Is there another way to get 2 flashdrive (from Drifter and a dead military) without using Spawner? The story is, I had defeated all military at post behind bus stop, but I didn't found any flashdrive. I rescued Drifter, but then he died due to blood loss. Any ideas? I tried Spawner mod but it doesn't work
It's weird that the spwaner does not work. Unfortunately, I don't see any other way than to load older quicksaves and play these parts of the game again.
Hello! I have a question, is it possible to use the faction technician after destroying their base in faction warfare? It’s been ages since I played this game, and I no longer remember if they die with their friends during base assault.
I hate that the loners never push the bandit hq with you so you end up clearing them by yourself, then you have to go back 10 minutes later because they took it again!

I've got the flashdrives in Swamp, but Novikov (Grey) doesn't have that "I have flash drive for you" that kind of thing. Is that a bug or somethinh? How to fix this? Pls help

OK went there , Limpid is shooting at me ,, tanks ..any case. .wil figure it out .i still got 3 wavers of bandits . to clear there ..maybe after that . i don't know , he is a bandit , , i got the flashdrives ,,mabey will be able to upgrade suit further in the game.
Most likely he dies of bleeding, but it's not really important if you can get the stash coordinates before he dies. He does'nt do anything other than that.
@@anomalousdugout9557 i did i just used spawner mod and spawner all of the pendrive in my inventory lol, it was fun i spawned some of the enemies in camp. Hahaha they all started shooting
You do need to pay for the information on most of the stashes or the usb won’t actually spawn annoying but if you save before asking what they have to offer it can give you different stashes hopefully the one with the usb
So for the stash under the rocks in a backpack he was charging 800rubels , which i said noway jhosey , then after going to the great swamps to help with fishing hamlet and watchtower i managed to return to base to collect my reward of 5000rubels and a flash drive (loaded with kim jung uns wife in her posing days very offended indeed) so after that i just approached him again and he only charged my 200rubels go figure so now i have yet to go back and find this backpack 🎒 and get the contents in it after my smoke of course 😅 wish me luck ,it better not be some high school kids packed lunch and homework and playstation portable because i would like to have stuff thats useful in this situation soviets are left in but if putin has his way and succeeds well then theyll end up having this game come to life over there ffs

Yes, that is true. I guess they learned about the stashes from other sources and don't want to bother checking it out themselves.

I never tried it, but it's definitely possible.
Indeed, it's very easy to miss. I had to use a spawning menu to get it since I never picked it up from the trader and lost it.

i was just playng stalker the other day and noticed that trader at freedoms base is called Ashot.The same as one of the shotguns in metro games.
I did not know that one of the shotguns in Metro is called that, but I'm not surprised. Metro was made by former S.T.A.L.K.E.R. devs after all.

The controls and menus in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. can be confusing at times. You don't have to feel bad, I've seen people do way worse with this game.

I checked location for one and it isnt there, do you actually have to pay for the location in game, if so thats terrible game design
