Cover Crops - Another look at Winter Rye, Hairy Vetch, Crimson Clover,

This is just another look at my 2017 cover crop of mostly Winter Rye and Hairy Vetch. There is also some Crimson Clover and others that I don't recall as of now. I attempted to show the Winter Rye beginning to create seed. From what I understand the seed heads start from the middle and work outwards. As you can see in some shots there are yellow flower-like pieces showing. I don't know what they are officially, are they flowers or pollen or what? Either way they are showing up on most of the Rye. All were seeded approximately October 2017 by just grabbing handfuls and broadcasting it everywhere I wanted it.
Next time I will be most consistent with spreading the seed in an effort to get a more even coverage.
This is a trial year in my effort to grow soil and improve overall health of my soil.
