When the scheme was introduced, it was challenged in the court, but the legal process takes time, and the court has to consider various factors and arguments before making a decision. There should be a Trust where donations are parked n distributed amongst political parties on the basis of mechanism by a fair legal committee. Contribution by donors may be decided also.

Political parties are not production or marketing companies, who need to spend money to make customers aware of their products. If political parties are doing good job then it's visible to the masses. Donation to parties in power should not be allowed in any case...
When company donating 100% of it's profit,why it is not thinking of it's employees ?Is it permited?
Companies may not have profits in a particular year or years for donation. They may as well donate from their reserves which are in the form of retained profits over the period of time. If a strong argument is put ot a part of donation can be drawn even from the freshly raised capital if it provided so in the objects of the issue.

REASON: Social Media will attack the company if they donate some opposite party
A company donating Party A: "Bhakt" company.
A company donating Party B: "Anti-India" company.
A company donating Party C: "Chinese Agent" company.
etc.
That doesn't mean Voters don't have the right to know about the donations.

Another problem is if a party or electoral candidate is corrupt they can be voted out. But judges who have do much power are all non-corrupt? 😅

Right to information applicable everwhere except in collegium system and judges wealth is what I feel.as a common man. Everything else including our defence secrets should be in public domain is what I understand after listening to lordships
Every patriotic citizen of this country respectfully salutes Shri Chandrachud Chief Justice of the Honorable Supreme Court and seeing this extraordinary debate in which the hearing on bribery taken from electoral bonds is going on, we are confident that the courts of our country will be able to give fair and bold decisions. He is all powerful and through this he will definitely punish those who take bribe.

Definitely it is a positive step.... Every donation became accountable.... Which is better...... a system having accountability or a system without any accountability..... It is a fact that the C J has special interest in certain particular cases.....
There should be a Trust created by law, headed by Supreme Court judge and eminent non-partison personalities being members, and that trust should hold the funds donated. Those giving donations should be known. The Trust should distribute the funds to parties according to some appropriate formula.
There should be a Trust where donations are parked n distributed amongst political parties on the basis of mechanism by a fair legal committee. Contribution by donors may be decided also.
