This effort was Dany, Pau, and Ale being challenged to try writing original songs. They were written with no expectation of being recorded and released.

Either in a Live or interview I'm sure Ale said she was actually 8yrs. When she wrote it but I could be wrong!
Try to comprehend young bassist, Alejandra, composing her first song ("Take Me Down") and then performing it on her band's first EP - when she was in the 4th grade... The band's first collaboration, "Free Falling", IMHO marked the birth of the "The Warning".

I listen to this EP a lot. Not because it is written and performed by kids but because it is good music. Ale’s bass line on Free Falling is so powerful it gives me chills.

Eternal Love is still to this day, my favorite song from TW. It is by no means their best work, but still.....
It is my alarm. I wake every day to the band serenading me with the lovely tune. 🤘🏻❤️⚠️

The video from Liceo has Escape the Mind plus a few covers sort of as an admission performance to go to Berklee. Ale and Pau were technically too young for the 5-week program they wanted to go to. Eternal Love is their most country tune but as they have said, the assignment from Ale's bass teacher, was just to try writing some songs. They were not planning on recording them at the time.

Pau calls this her little kid voice, or something like that. I listen to this EP every now and then and really forget they were kids. It stands on it's own merits.

Take Me Down is my favorite (all the others a close 2nd 3rd behind). It has a groove.😊

The "Take Me Down" song for some reason reminds me of early 90's Chili Peppers/ No Doubt

I like this EP, but I wish that at some point they will revisit this EP and redo the songs with their current skills and musical knowledge, as the bones are there for classic songs, but their inexperience did not let them develop the songs to their full potential at that point.

Thanks for posting the full video! I did not mind listening to this EP again. I don't think any of the songs on here are my favorite songs from The Warning, but I do appreciate them and they are very impressive coming from what were, essentially, children.
