when i was 4 my mom rented a VHS tape from some church. it had this damn thing on it instead of the christmas cartoons we were expecting. i dreamed night after night that the skunk thing was in my basement and had me cornered, speaking in it's nasally squeaks. years of trying to make my parents remember the tape followed. only my brother shared the same fear so i knew it was real in some way. i stumbled upon this 3 days ago and showed the rest of my family. my mom instantly knew what it was, but said she blocked it from her memory "so she didn't have to think about it anymore". thx sooooo much for uploading this. my parents don't think i'm crazy anymore!

I'm curious about who did the music. One of the passages in the opening theme at :35 sounds like one used by James Horner in Braveheart. I'm assuming this was canned stuff because of the budget.

I vaguely remember watching this as a little kid. It was in a collection of VHS tapes that my nan had. there was also the original Rudolph the red nose reindeer (not the Rankin Bass version.)

I've mentioned this movie to everybody I know and I was convinced it was another Mandella effect. I found it though! Been looking for 15 years!

When Timothy Leary visited the North Pole would of been a better title

I like it, but it does somewhat make Santa Claus Conquers the Martians look like Lawrence of Arabia in comparison.

God I remember when I was a little kid, our family went to Santa's Village in San Bernadino (Sky Forest. I was afraid to ride the little roller coaster they had.

the Santa Cruz santa's village shut down in the late 70's, the road is still called Santa's Village road but that's about it...it's an empty lot on Highway 17 today

Well, now I know that my faint memories of the first scenes weren't the result of me tripping balls on my grandmothers peanut butter cookies (no drugs, just allllll good). However, I must also make two comments.
    1. The Quality is so amazingly crap that I'm sure it could be made much better today if the villages ever get rebuilt.
    2. The intro where Santa's multi-spatial powers are explained via Merlin's discovery of the 5th Dimension is probably the most rational explanation I've ever heard for how Santa does his thing.
