I woke up with "Don't rush me. Don't push me! Santa Claus is not in the chimney" running through my head this morning. It has to have been 25 years since I've even thought about this VHS.
I wonder where those puppets are today. They could be in a museum. Or maybe they where stored and put away like in a huge warehouse. A collector might have them. Or they could have been thrown out years ago who knows. I doubt though that after this film was made they just threw them away. They could still exhist.
This short was also released in the 1940's by Official Films, a successor to Castle Films. Official did acquired the home movie rights to Van Beuren and the Columbia/Screen Gems cartoons from the 1930's and 1940's including Scrappy, the Phantasy series, the Color Rhapsodies, and the Fox & Crow series.

Don't rush me!
Don't push me!
This deranged little film is more frightening and more screwed up then any horror movie out there!!!

Originally released in November 1949.

Not a "successor". Official was the OTHER major company you bought "home movie entertainment" from in the 1940's.
I love how the dog picks Kitty to go because she's 'Smart and beautiful!' XD
