Well, I watch this cartoon on a VHS (which I still have) and it's a tradition for me to watch it after watching my 1995 The Lion King VHS (which I also still have)

@KBAFourthtime I'm kind of confused about it, actually. He appears to be Dutch judging by his clothes and his apparent stupidity/lack of common sense (from the old stereotype of Dutch folk, of course), but it's true that "danke" is German and not Dutch...
