    Am so proud to live in a time when all the people of the world realize we are all part of the same family...by the time I was 10, I'd lived on 3 continents and been to 4 and learned that we are all one . Thanks for a cartoon that reminds us all to love each other!

    Originally released in November 1947, and the first appearance of "Little Audrey" (who appeared in her own cartoon series, under the studio's "Noveltoon" banner, in 1948).

    Well, I watch this cartoon on a VHS (which I still have) and it's a tradition for me to watch it after watching my 1995 The Lion King VHS (which I also still have)

    @KBAFourthtime I'm kind of confused about it, actually. He appears to be Dutch judging by his clothes and his apparent stupidity/lack of common sense (from the old stereotype of Dutch folk, of course), but it's true that "danke" is German and not Dutch...
