They used a poppet for Yoda, Kylo was a wimp in the force smakens and much better in this one and finally snoke didnt try to make Rey join the dark side, he just wanted her dead after retracting information about Lukes whereabouts
Yea cause Vader reeaaallllyyy had alot of development going for him before the prequels right? I'm watching your Jurassic park stuff right now, paused that, looked at your video line up, and now just watched to 2:54 of this... I'm subscribing. I'm glad to see your perspective of this movie. I don't know if I saw episode 7 or 8, of the disney star wars, but I stood up and walked out and will never see 7, 8, or 9, made by disney. I turned around and bought episodes 1 through 6 on blu ray and watch them maybe once all in a row, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, in order, every couple years. I'm saddened by so much lore and cannon of the star wars universe being destroyed by disney. Anyway, glad you're making your content and I'll keep watching and I hope your channel becomes what you want.
Fastboy Yeah maybe but I think that this flaw in him adds a whole new layer about his character. It wasn't even that long that he was a hermit maybe several years so not that long. He was the most powerful force user and a legend
Maybe you are right. But i would personally wanted to see Luke in his prime teaching a new generation like in the legends novels, but Disney decided to go with a different direction.
SPOILERS WELL I was kinda disappointed when Force Awakens came out, since it was almost just like A New Hope... But I don't think The Last Jedi is anything like Empire Strikes Back... It has brought new ways of the force, Luke has become funny, the scene with Yoda was great (oh, and btw, she CAN still become a Jedi (not that I think she'll become specifically a Jedi): the force ghosts can teach her :) Since there's Yoda, Luke, Anakin and Obi Wan, she'll have plenty of masters :) ) And no, I don't think Kylo Ren was "bad" and "boring" in this movie: I think he's an interesting, new take on dark-side-user villain: having him fragile and between two sides, always wanting to "fulfill his destiny"... And Snoke was GREAT: manipulating the two, being smart as hell, cool as fak and just overall nice. BUT I think his death was a bit... Easy... I see the point of killing him off, and it makes a great surprise and story, but they could at least have killed him together or something... (But on the other hand, I think it was the best option they had. To demonstrate how powerful he was, he had to be killed by smarts and surprise) And I don't think the Porgs were distractiong, or whatrver you called them... Yesz they were comic reliefs, but I liked them. Not because I'm 15 and love small, funny, cute creatures, but because I genuinely liked them. I also liked how Rey was bowing to the dark side and it's might and temptation, and how Luke frequently rejects her request of training her. I think there was just enough Luke in the film, and his death was AMAZING!!! Everyone, I mean EVERYONE in the cinema was surprised and I think they all liked it. Leia was great, I liked the scenes she was in, she did good acting and played a big role. But I'm asking myself: why didn't you comment on Poe? And only a bit on Finn and Rose (not even mentioning their names)? The storylines of Finn/Rose and the whole beginning of the movie and onwards with Poe was a very cool and amazing storyline! I understand, that this video wasn't scripted, but in that case, I think you should have just used an evening or some hours on going through all of the movie, talking about everything, or at least not forgetting some important parts :) And yeah, the fight scenes were made beautifully, and the scenery was fantastic. Just overall, the film was beautiful. Even the space battles were awesome! The beginning scene with the bombers was also really really really cool!! All in all I like the way Rian Johnson has taken Star Wars. It was full of surprises and plot twists, introduced us to a new level of the force, and it was beautiful and funny and always had me with big eyes :)
Du siger at The Force Awakens var næsten som A New Hope, hvordan? :)
Great review Niki! I'd say forget these fake Star Wars films. Check out the books and comic-books of the Expanded Universe, which handles the saga and its characters FAR, FAR BETTER than these terrible films!!
1. Too much dumb humor. This is SW. It should be more balanced. It kills dark tone. Comic relief is good but this is not a Marvel movie to overuse it. 2. Luke did jackshit and died from it. Whole hype for returning cast was wasted. In Dark Empire Luke destroyed AT-ATs with the Force. In the movie when he came out in front of them I thought the same thing would have happened there! What a waste. 3. Phasma returned for nothing. Porgs had more screen time than her. 4. How First Order was able to become so huge and powerful? Luke did nothing for 30 years to stop them from taking control over galaxy? In expanded universe Remnants made more sense for post-RotJ political scene. 5. Snoke turns Kylo to Dark Side, a beloved son of Luke's sister and best friend and Luke simply gives up and goes exile? This shit is unacceptable. 6. And Rian Johnson is going to direct a new trilogy? LOL HELL NO. Why not Gareth Edwards? Rogue One is the best SW movie that came out during Disney reign.
Phillip Christensen I know right. I love this movie but people just seem to hate on it. This one of my favorite Star Wars movie. I don’t see no reason to hate on the movie
You said Rey can’t get trained because there isn t any jedies and the books are burnd but actually you get a sneak peak in the Malanian falcon where the jedi books are in a boks. Yoda also says that Rey already knows what is discribed in jedi books so she doesn t need them...
Who the fuck is Snoke. How did he get his powers? Where was he in the original trilogy and the prequels if he is so powerful? How did he get in control?
For a Starwars movie, I thought it was disgusting. Everything interesting TFA introduced, TLJ ruined - Snoke, Luke, Han, Kylo as you said. It's as if the movie was making fun of the Starwars series as well. That weird scene you mentioned with the soldier tasting the ground, the movie had to have that otherwise the audience would think it was another snow planet. Out of all the planets in the Starwars galaxy, and they couldn't think of something more original than a white planet.
I've just seen it, and while I love The Force Awakens i think The Last Yedi was a mess, i don't like at all. Why Mark Hamill agreed to do this i have no idea: I had high hopes after the Force Awakens, but with the Last Jedi.....well..they blew it.
Well. We actually maybe got the answer for Reys parents, that they were noones, but it could be false. Rey also took the book on board of the falcon. I'm certain that Luke will apear as a force ghost to help Rey
Hey, Niki Topgaard You mentioned in your last Video "The Last Jedi - review (with spoilers!)" that all the books got burned. I don't if it's just me, but the last scenes in the Falcon. When Finn took a blanket out of the drawer I noticed some books in the drawer too. I have a conspiracy that those books were the Jedi Books. It also looked like those. I think you should check it up?
Are you kidding?? Yoda was a puppet and not just a puppet but the worst Yoda puppet ever. The CGI puppet in the prequels was way better than this so I am amazed that they are so into fan-service that they are doing subpar practical effects. The Jedi books didnt burn. They were seen on the Falcon. Luke can train her as a force ghost. Leia will probably die before the plot of Episode 9...
Actually Yoda was the puppet. Yoda lukt exactly like he was take from the Jedi... it was this strange glow to him that made it look strange. Possible though it could have been CGI of that puppet though... The Emperor were kinda killed in the Return of the Jedi... lol. Snoke was Supreme-leader, just so you know. :-) By the way we had Mustafar in Rouge One: 1 Luke didnt really die. He just became one with the force, and in a sense immortal? 2 he wasnt, he in a sense understood he was not. Rey is a Jedi somehow 3 rey parents were kinda not important. They were some alholic folks that sold her to get money to buy booze. And I dont hate the moment. I dont love it. I don't approve of it either and I think they did go to far to fast in some sense of removing Supreme-leader (or was it Supreme commander snoke, or am mixing the stuff upp from Stargate SG-1 here lol) allready in this movie. Let Luke ascend to energy-plane of living allready now, was wrong too. There were so many things here that was so wrong and bad, so In a sense I should give it a real bad ranking. But I did like some parts of it. I think in a sense the humor did save it a little. because of sometimes it was really bad. ALl men did stupid and strange desicions, but women didnt. It was women who sacrificed themselves but the men was not allowed to? Finn should be dead for obivious reason, but because of bad story-telling a woman sacrificed herself to save him?? If a sacrifice of a important character would really have ment something that was it, instead a character that no one really cares about sacrificed herself, and so was with her sister probably. They both had the same neckles. They where just not important... Luke was in sence a new Yoda, a lil strange, maybe a lil insain. Finn stumbled around, and walked in this silly bacta tank clothing thing, and bacta-liquad got all over the place. General Hux, got thrown all over the place (This was in a sense kinda funny) But in a sense all men was terrible told in this episode. They killed of one of the big heroes of Jedi Returns, General Akbar, who didnt even get to be killed a heros way. But Vide Admiral Holdo got to be, again a woman. It was kinda bad to see.... sorry. BUt I did like to watch though. Despite this problem. But do I want to watch the next one. Well at the moment. No, I wont. Not because I hated this one, because I didnt. Mostly the reason is, That for me this was the last one. I mean it felt like an end to the Saga.
if it gives you confidence, they seem to use parallel ideas from the original trilogy, so maybe the final film is all its own. And you have to admit, looking at the big picture, this film had a lot of things that were unexpected, full of surprises and action. with all it's flaws, it's honestly in my top 3 star wars films, and the next one has soooo much potential. i think it will be a solid end of all things, i still have hype for this series.
Dude, some feedback on the way you do this review. Don't just align all your ideas, one after another. Give them time to breathe, expand on them a little more, don't just say what you liked and didn't like, elaborate a little more on why you liked/didn't like them. If you want to go through the ideas faster, do the quick cuts thing a lot of others do, it masks the "and umm" pauses. Also maybe try to have some kind of structure, take the movie from beginning to end, have some sort of order which makes sense. If you want to do it on longer takes, or even one take, then go a little slower. Also try some inflexions in your voice, it's kinda flat and monotone.
Finally someone who agrees with me on The Phantom Menace being the worst Star Wars movie (Ignoring the holdiay fuck fest and the ewok movies) Attack Of The Clones is laughable. I will admit that. But its at least enjoyable. Nothing fucking happens in The Phantom Menace. The Pod Race is filmed from the same angle almost every scene. (Pans from left to right) the action is either jedi's cutting through droids no problem. Or people hiding. Peaking out and shooting. And hiding again. With nothing else happening. And the of course. Jar Jar. Loved him as a kid. Want to strangle the fucking shit out of him now
Yep I thought it was a different Star Wars and lots of rehashing. I guess Rey took the books. I did buy the blu ray because i like collecting the movies. I felt I was FORCEd to see it. Get it?
I would just like u 2 know that Ray's lightsaber skills... They suck! - First ov all when she trains at Luke's home her stance, her technique, everything is bad. Very VERY bad... - Also when her and Kylo Ren is fighting Snoke's guards they literally REMOVE a weapon from one of the guards because she SUCK that much... That's very very sad, but it's very very true...
-> great review. Another weird moment was the “General Leia flying through deep space” moment. I would love to hear what everyone else thought about this.
SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS! I actually think, the scene on the salt planet with the AT-AT's was there to mislead in the trailer. As you mentioned, a lot of the points were rehashed from A New Hope in The Force Awakens, and I think they wanted people to think, they would do the same with Empire Strikes Back in The Last Jedi. Point being, people were supposed to think that scene would be in the beginning of the movie, in order to rehash Empire Strikes Back, and by having it at the end of the movie, as the big climax, it would suprise people. Personally, I liked the finale. I mean, I didn't like it as much as I liked the lightsaber battle in The Force Awakens, but that was mainly because of the way the lightsabers lit up the environment, and because ttthe characters felt more invested in it. More was at stake. In this movie, we didn't have a single lightsaber battle with two named characters fightning against each other, with real stakes, since Luke wasn't really there. I disagree with you regarding Kylo Ren. He was, by far, my favorite character in this movie. I liked how they showed his duality, and how there was this seed of doubt in terms of how he turned to the dark side. I also like Luke as a failed master, because of his legendary status. It just makes the universe feel much more real. I really disliked the entirety of Finn's arc. It was really corny, and his relationship with rose was unbelivable - and not in a good way. I found Benicio del Toro's character to be unimportant, and I hope they have bigger plans for him. All in all, I think the positives far outweighs the negatives. Amazing dialogue, great action setpieces and great character building (for the most part). Is it better than Empire Strikes Back? No, I don't think so. Is it better than any of the prequels? Definetly.
Luke trained Ray to er jedi, Luke dies and now Ray is the ‘only’ jedi ledt on the planet. But No! At the end of the movie We se at kid with jedi skills so Ray is NOT the only jedi
They used a poppet for Yoda, Kylo was a wimp in the force smakens and much better in this one and finally snoke didnt try to make Rey join the dark side, he just wanted her dead after retracting information about Lukes whereabouts
Alexander Andersson Snoke, Didnt want Rey dead he wanted himself dead...
The jedi books didn't get burn rey had them in the end. ;)
Yes, think the ending of Watchmen the movie.
Wait, I thought Yoda was a puppet when I saw him. You sure it was CGI?
to me it looked like his intro was cgi, then switched to puppet. so both I think
It looked pretty CGI to me, but I could be wrong.
It looks like a puppet to me!
Fank oz reprised the role so im 99% sure it was a puppet. They had to add the aurora of the force ghost with cgi but the puppet was practical.
It was a puppet...
I thought Adam Driver KILLED it as kylo Ren
Jj clay Zero character development... Darth Emo with tiresome grand daddy issues, and temper tantrums. Hardly Supreme Leader material.
Yea cause Vader reeaaallllyyy had alot of development going for him before the prequels right? Idk about you but i was alive when the OT came out and for almost the first few years after they came out they were just good flicks with cool effects and lazer swords and people hated on them hard. It wasent until all the books and EU stuff came out did the OT characters really get fleshed out. The OT is so loved because it was the first of it's kind, that's it.

Im super disappointed cos i really didn't like the way Luke was treated or the whole 30 min subplot with Rose and Fin.
Fastboy Luke was fine by the end of the movie he was the same old legendary hero
Yeah but i would loved to have the same old hero almost the whole movie.
Fastboy Yeah maybe but I think that this flaw in him adds a whole new layer about his character. It wasn't even that long that he was a hermit maybe several years so not that long. He was the most powerful force user and a legend

I had fun, I don't get all the hate ?
10/10
Phillip Christensen I know right. I love this movie but people just seem to hate on it. This one of my favorite Star Wars movie. I don’t see no reason to hate on the movie
What about Lando??
When are u going to upload the movie location for Jurassic Park?
You said Rey can’t get trained because there isn t any jedies and the books are burnd but actually you get a sneak peak in the Malanian falcon where the jedi books are in a boks. Yoda also says that Rey already knows what is discribed in jedi books so she doesn t need them...
Who the fuck is Snoke. How did he get his powers? Where was he in the original trilogy and the prequels if he is so powerful? How did he get in control?
What do u think of the last scene with the kids because if u look closer the kid who grabs the broom take it with the force soooooooo maybe a new Jedi
Many saying that the books didn't get burned. Hmm. I think they did. Yes, I saw the books, but it doesn't have to be the books shown in the tree.
When does the next Movie location video come out?
Actually Yoda was not CGI in the movie. It was a puppet. They just put a digital filder over him to make him look like a force ghost
For a Starwars movie, I thought it was disgusting. Everything interesting TFA introduced, TLJ ruined - Snoke, Luke, Han, Kylo as you said.

Hey Niki i was wondering when you will be releasing the Rocky locations video btw love your content alot !

It's funny to think about that jaja binks is one of the most hated characters in movie history, but i like him actually.
Well. We actually maybe got the answer for Reys parents, that they were noones, but it could be false. Rey also took the book on board of the falcon. I'm certain that Luke will apear as a force ghost to help Rey
9:07 Yavin IV is a moon so none of the original planets is featured
4:55 Yoda was a puppet, look at some of the behind the scenes footages, regarding the yoda scene, also Snoke is a supreme leader not an emperor
Yoda was a puppet lol, I think they combined cgi too. But yeah I thought he looked a little strange too
What are you thoughts on "The Rise of Skywalker"? Personally, I thought it was a better movie than the Last Jedi which was extremely disappointing!
Actually Darth Vader’s temple in Rogue One is on Mustafar
Hey, Niki Topgaard
You mentioned in your last Video "The Last Jedi - review (with spoilers!)" that all the books got burned. I don't if it's just me, but the last scenes in the Falcon. When Finn took a blanket out of the drawer I noticed some books in the drawer too. I have a conspiracy that those books were the Jedi Books. It also looked like those. I think you should check it up?

The Jedi books didnt burn. They were seen on the Falcon. Luke can train her as a force ghost.
Leia will probably die before the plot of Episode 9...
Star Wars fan going through the 5 stages of grief after watching TLJ.

Yoda looked amazing in my opinion, far better than the prequels.
Great review by the way.
One of my favorite thing in Star Wars was the porgs they are so cute
Can you do a video about the filming locations of Prison Break season 2 pls?
Actually Yoda was the puppet. Yoda lukt exactly like he was take from the Jedi... it was this strange glow to him that made it look strange. Possible though it could have been CGI of that puppet though...
The Emperor were kinda killed in the Return of the Jedi... lol. Snoke was Supreme-leader, just so you know. :-)
By the way we had Mustafar in Rouge One:
1 Luke didnt really die. He just became one with the force, and in a sense immortal?
2 he wasnt, he in a sense understood he was not. Rey is a Jedi somehow
3 rey parents were kinda not important. They were some alholic folks that sold her to get money to buy booze.

I mean it felt like an end to the Saga.
rey stole the jedi books before luke burned the tree down. You can see them on the falcon when finn tries to find a carpet for rose
I thought it was really good! I just like all the nostalgic moments!
Niki i think it was stupid that Yoda could hit Luke with his stick!
No new videos for 3 months?
Imagine if you got to edit a Starwars movie😱
if it gives you confidence, they seem to use parallel ideas from the original trilogy, so maybe the final film is all its own. And you have to admit, looking at the big picture, this film had a lot of things that were unexpected, full of surprises and action. with all it's flaws, it's honestly in my top 3 star wars films, and the next one has soooo much potential. i think it will be a solid end of all things, i still have hype for this series.
Oh how wrong u were
Nikiiiii, we need you back on this Channel 😰😰
Dec 😄😄😄

Så du den i Aarhus?
Rqckz_YT Jeg så den i København
Det var i odense/middelfart
The old jedi books didn't get burned, Rey stole them, thats why Yoda destroyed the tree
What is your rating from 1-100 on the rise of Skywalker. In my opinion it is the second worst star wars film right behind attack of the clones.
TROS was next level terrible. At least AOTC gave us Dooku and the battle of geonosis.
@@silvervalleystudios2486 Dooku is not a very used character in the films, and the duel in attack of the clones is pretty bad.
i would like to have more clips and pics if you this again
Lol i thought that the "code breaker" was played by Andy Serkis, Btw Rey stole the Ancient Jedi Texts
Snoke isn’t a Empore he is called Supreme Leader Snoke
She took the books!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Plus weve just seen that force ghosts can connect with people.
Snoke was a soldier there fightet for Darth Wader
Guy i feel bad for u you sound like u almost choke saying it was a good movie. i know it's hard but the sooner u admit it was bad the better u feel

Mustafar was in the movie
Jeger dansk
I saw it yesterday, and i was blown away! One of the coolest movies to date, at least i think so :)
Good video i love Star wars.❤️👍😃👌😀
God video! Niki
Hey Niki do you like fantastic beasts? Orrrr What?
Finally someone who agrees with me on The Phantom Menace being the worst Star Wars movie (Ignoring the holdiay fuck fest and the ewok movies)
Attack Of The Clones is laughable.
Get it?
If you look close at the end u can see rey has the jedi books
I think Snorke die too fast he Was very strong and didnt looked like he could be fooled like he did
Am I right or right
Rey’s parents are nobodies. She’s not related to anyone. They discuss it in the movie....
Yoda’s appearance was not CG he was a puppet?
hey niki miss the dansk video
but love you videos
Hey Niki i Saw Star wars 13 on Denmark in Odense
In rogue 1 we got darth vader castle in mustafar
Definetly.
Can you make a fast and Furious movie locations
Hvor er underteksterne?
