Farouk is my favorite "Villain" in any comic book adaptation ever. I'd put him ahead of Heath Ledger's Joker.

I would say that is a matter of taste, given Ledger's joker was meant to be realistic. Not arguing with you, I actually think of him as if Ledger's joker had god like abilities and centuries of experience, especially given how personality changed from Season 1 to Season 2

I think the personality change has a bit to do with Farouk's goals in each season; in Season 1, he just wanted to screw around with David and mess up his life, which explains why he seemed like a playful maniac. In season 2, he's searching for his body, probably giving him the confidence to finally show David (and the audience) what he REALLY looks like (instead of the Devil With Yellow Eyes, the World's Angriest Boy, and Lenny) and has a much more straightforward yet still enigmatic demeanor.

@@DCMarvel2009 While I completely agree with your point of view, you got one thing wrong: Farouk's goal in season 1 wasn't "to screw around with David and mess up his life", it was to control David, either psychologically or physically (i.e. gain complete control of David's body and imprison David, psychically within Farouk's own mind)
