"Every Taiwanese parent wants their children to get jobs that can earn them lots of money..." I used to think the Chinese are very materialistic, but then I learned Chinese history and how China went through more than two centuries of absolutely horrible times. Foreign invasions, occupation, civil wars, rebellions, famine, natural disasters, epidemics, economy collapse, political revolution and political disturbances, etc So now I know understand why Chinese focus on making money. It represents security. The Chinese collective memory still remembers that real horrible times and money represents security.
If you write down 韓門武學 on Facebook you can find him. I only shared a bit of footage because i was there with Will from Monkey Steals Peach channel. You should check out his version of the video, it's much longer. You can also find my interview of master Han on my channel 😁
@@wushuquestofficial oh yeah i watched both with great interest (if you mean the baji/changquan video). This video here I had saved for alter and only just watched =) Thank you for your reply and for your videos (Will and you)!
His wife is an English teacher but master Han doesn't speak a perfect English. However I'm sure he'd be happy to teach you if you go there. His curriculum is pretty much what he explains in the video. If you're talking about Duan etc, note that they aren't very popular in Taiwan.
@@DarjuschBartsch Yes he was able through learning from almost all his grandfather disciples and his aunt, to learn all the forms of the system. Have you watched the video we've made with Will from monkey steals peach about the style?

However, money is does not give security anymore since it can easily be taken away
😂😂😂 this guys devotion to wushu is so relatable and wonderful
Han Qingtang came to the Philippines in the early 60's to promote chinese martials to the chinese community here in Manila's chinatown
Wow that's awesome! Didn't know that part of the story (I haven't red the biography yet haha)
好精彩!
I was engrossed in his story. What a dedicated practitioner & teacher.
Yes so inspiring
Amazing! Han Qingtang is his grandfather, and he didn't knew about 😂
Awesome interview! Quite an amazing story, I've definitely stolen and been inspired by some of his stuff! Thanks for sharing! 🙂
super inspiring, thnx!
Great interview - much respect for Han Jixiang and his life quest!
Thanks for sharing, I actually practiced Han shi, Tan tui!
That was excellent, thanks for sharing.
Glad you loved it, thanks!
I wonder at what time Master Han's grandfather was teaching in 228 park? I trained in that park while visiting Taibei in 1995 or 96.
You must have seen incredible masters still back then, however Master Han Qingtang died in 1976
Put in a haybor PT and dropped in a Aftermarket reverb tank. The tone stack been redone with Orange drops.
Nice grab N Go!
Gute idee
does Master Han have a website or youtube page? The little footage you showed of him practicing were interesting, but... a bit short =P

There is a North and a South but there is no internal and external classification.
Does Master Han speaks English? Would he accept foreign students? And what does this curriculum look like?

@@wushuquestofficial thanks so far for answering. So he teaches merely Chang quan I guess. Jiao Men: Chaquan and also Meihuaquan like his grandfather?
