One thing I’m liking about this is how you’re making Byleth more emotional as this goes on. How Byleth really cares for their parents and happier which makes sense when you have a chance to be with your parents like this when you think it wouldn’t happen. This really makes Byleth feel so three dimensional and seeing how they grow and progress. Gives me feelings of How to Train your Dragon 2 actually

I could imagine this scenario being a reason why Flaynn and Seteth would possibly join Byleth in Crimson Flower.
I’d tear up each time Jeralt mentioned Sitri during one of his supports in Three Hopes - I love how you’ve portrayed their relationship and think it’s very well done how Sitri’s perception of Rhea is slowly warped.
And now for future episodes, it’s not only Sitri’s presence that’ll change the story but now that the students, and the respective lords are privy to Serois being head of the church - that could have big implications for each route. I’m particularly interested in how Claude will act on that.
If we get Part 3s, here are some ideas I have for Azure Moon-
After Byleth wakes up, that one villager is accompanied by an overjoyed Sitri, who’s sort of been on the run for a while now. It’s explained that while she tried to accompany the Blue Lions to the Kingdom, the battles caused by Cornelia’s coup were so dangerous that remaining there, combined with Faerghus’ frigid climate was hazardous for her health.
Not long after she left, Edelgard put a bounty on Sitri due to her ties with Sothis and the other Nabateans, a race of people who she sees as nonhuman and dangerous in a position of authority. She’s been a wanted fugitive, going about Fodlan helping people wherever she can as a nun while maintaining as low profile- But people have been calling her The Wandering Saint-a title that she is flattered by, but has only made it easier for the Empire to track her down.
Sitri accompanies Byleth up to the top of the Goddess Tower where they find Dimitri-and like in canon, his years of exile and lasting trauma from the Tragedy of Duscur have reduced him to a feral, volatile shell of the man he once was. Dimitri initially assumes that Byleth is yet another ghost here to torment him, but is shocked to learn that she and her mother live.
Sitri is deeply distressed seeing Dimitri in such a state, and from that point on keeps an eye on him along with Byleth.
The majority of the story stays the same up until the end of chapters 16-17. Just as the Kingdom army is investigating the murder of the messengers sent to Leicester, Fleche comes running to Sitri, telling her that a group of refugees has arrived at the front of the monastery, some of them being gravely injured. But just as Sitri reaches where Flèche said the injured people were, Hubert appears from behind her gets the drop on Sitri and knocks her out-leaving Fleche with Hubert.
Fleche: I still don’t get why Her Majesty wanted this woman alive.
Hubert: With all due respect, Lady Edelgard does not wish death upon anyone unless necessary.
Fleche: Does not wish…?! You mean to imply that she intends to spare that monstrosity?!
Hubert: Oh, don’t mistake my words, Lady Fleche. The prince of Faerghus is far too big of an obstacle to our goals to let live. If all goes according to plan, you will have your chance for vengeance soon enough. Until then, happy hunting.
Hubert warps away, taking Sitri to Edelgard’s base near Gronder.
Fleche: The time has almost come… dear Brother.
Before the Battle at Gronder, Sitri is brought to the Emperor herself. The following dialogue is something along these lines:
Edelgard: Leave us. I wish to speak with her alone.
Sitri: Emperor Edelgard… what do you want with me?
Edelgard: Surely you know the answer to such a question already. You share the blood of the Immaculate One, of the children of the Goddess. You cannot be allowed sway over the people. Your image as a miracle worker, well intentioned as your actions may be, could be easily twisted to falsely deify you…just as the church deified that creature.
Sitri: …
Edelgard: Why do you still take the side of a nation so fervently devoted to the church? You know what the Archbishop was planning on doing to your child-to you.
Sitri: …You are correct that the Church of Seiros is far from being what I thought it was. But that in no way justifies your extremism! These past 5 years, I have traveled all across Fodlan-through the Kingdom, Alliance, and even the Empire. And I have seen the suffering that your war has brought to them. Children waiting for parents sent off to fight who will never come home, people’s livelihoods being completely uprooted by Imperial invasions! The weak and downtrodden, those who you claim to fight for being punished for offering up their prayers to the goddess! I agree with you that change needs to happen, but at the expense of so many innocent lives?!
Edelgard: It was the Church that originally sided with that rebel Loog and divided the Empire. The Church who implemented the archaic Crest system. Its presence is a disease that must be purged from the lands, no matter the cost. The sacrifice of thousands of lives now will lead to the salvation of thousands more in the future!
The two continue to argue for some time, before one of Edelgard’s soldiers comes to inform her of the two approaching armies. During the battle itself Byleth focuses on saving her mother while Dimitri, Edelgard and Claude all fight against each other.
Aaaaand that’s where I’ll stop. This is just me spitballing, and I’m really looking forward to seeing this story continue. Huge props to all the VAs and to you for writing all of this! :)
That's some really cool ideas you have and defo make Sitri a very prominent figure in the whole affair is nice. Thanks very much for the feedback.

God I just love this I want more I wanna see Dimitri in azure moon maybe being softer towards Sitri or even more cautious of rhea during crimson flower OMG and Verdant wind... Why can I see Claude keeping Sitri safe by his side and even taking breaks and advice from her ah!! I wanna see how the different lords would behave and treat Byleths mother both during academy and post time skip!!

This is just- *perfect!* The character work here is top notch & i loved the change in direction you took in the end where the revelation of Byleth's birth is tackled earlier, it was a really great choice in my opinion.
Sitri here is the Best Mother someone could ask for. Someone who's very understanding & kind, also knowing what to say & do in hard times, the scene where she holds Byleth when she breaks down after Jeralt's death almost made me tear up.
Huge shout-out to the voice actors who played a part here, they all did a spectacular job! I hope we get the post timeskip stuff with this story, mainly with Dimitri cause i wanna see how Sitri can help save my precious Lion King.
I am loving this series so far. Honestly, with the truth of the Hero Relics and Rhea's true plans being revealed so early, I think a lot of small things throughout all four routes will change, which will end up snowballing into larger changes later on.
For example, Claude's route has always been about finding out the truth (Which is why his route is my favourite). With this big truth being dropped so soon, we not only don't get that big exposition dump right at the end of the story, and now have time to sit with this information, but I don't think Claude would be okay with just sitting on his hands during the time skip and would start looking into Those that Slither in the Dark. As a result, I think he would find out about Edelgard's traumatic past, and the truth behind the Duscur Tragedy. This would cause this route's story to primarily focus on Those that Slither in the Dark, with the war with Edelgard being secondary, as she becomes less the 'big bad' and more the unfortunate pawn.
For Demitri, his story would be very similar at first, as his story is very focused on the truma he sufferes from the Duscur Tragedy. However, you've already established that there is the potencial for the siblings to acrually reconsile in this series of events with the first part, where Rhea threw Demitri into a wall. And with the reveal of what the Hero Relics actually are, it tarnishes the illusion of the nobility's right to lead, when that 'right' came from something so horrific. So, I can see Demitri seeing where El is coming from a little more.
Edelgard's route would probably take a very sharp turn, with Rhea's plans being revealed to everyone at this critical moment. I can actually see both Seteth and Flayn jioning them in this timeline, knowing what Rhea was going to do Byleth. Alois would definatly join since, he made a promise to Jeralt to take care of Byleth and Sitri. Honestly the only named characters I can think of continuing to follow Rhea would be Cyril and Catherine, who are un-healthily obsessed with the woman. An interesting angle I think Edelgard's story could take, is seeing herself in Rhea. They both lost their families to Tose that Slither in the Dark. They both went through horrific and trumatising things because of these people. Edelgard and all of her siblings were experimented on, and Rhea had all of her siblings and her mother butchered and had their body parts turned into weapons that can only be used by certain people, or their weilder turns into a monster. Maybe this story would focus more on trying to reach Rhea and bring back her humanity, rather than Rhea falling further into madness until she's truly a monster.

I love this what if story as well and agree with the way Claude,Dimitri, and edelgard's route would be taken.
As for the church route I'd see it primarily focusing on rescuing rhea and finding out about those who slither in the dark, the tragic history in regards to the agarthans, nemesis, the heroes relics,the fall of zanado and sothis's kin along the way while having to face a multiheaded opposition from either adrestia, and the agarthans, or from the kingdom the empire and the agarthans as a means to give creedance and justification for as to why faerghus would not only have lost their sole reason and purpose for the nobility to have the right to rule but to hold and wield the heroes relics which could result in a split in the kingdoms ideals of how to move on during the war. All the while the Leicester alliance would assist the the church and vice versa during key points in the war.

@@BLAZINGKNIGHT50 I am honored to receive such thanks from an fe content creator such as yourself and to go in more detail on my personal viewpoint of how things would change. what I'd personally see happening during the assault of garrech Mach and the resulting cliff fall scene of byleth. Instead of solely relying on the same responses at that point. Instead we'd take a different approach. Depending on the house and in turn The route chosen and/or whom byleth has received b rank support outside of sitri. The scene would shift to sitri and the individual b ranked supported students and/or staff would Break down emotionally from seeing what had just transpired while the remaining students and or staff would shout and do what they can to get everyone to retreat while the audio and screen would fade to black before resulting in the drastic changes between the 4 routes as stated in the war arc routes that rando,myself, and everyone else who may have or will be posting ideas on what they'd see happening during the 2nd half of the games story.
I just watched this after finshing Part 1 and this is a super interesting concept! I like the idea that Sitri has supports with the students and church staff. I love to imagine what sort of support convos would she would have (such as Sitri and Dedue bonding over flowers, Alois and her remising about when Alois was still Jeralt's squire, Ingrid and her talking after Jerlat's death, etc).
I hope Part 3 comes out because I would know love to know what will happen after those repeated bombshells got dropped right before the Flame Emperor reveal. Especially what happens with Dimitri during CF/AM and Flayn during CF. Dimitri's opinion of Rhea seemed to sour A LOT after she harshly interrogated Mercie and I can't imagine learning Rhea was going to essentially murder Byleth is going to help, meaning his opinion of Edelgard might change slightly and his allyship with Rhea in CF might not exist/be strained. Meanwhile, Flayn has gotten so close to Sitri, I wonder what will happen if Sitri goes with Byleth to the Empire's side.
There's certainly a lot to consider but thank you very much for the feedback and I'm glad you enjoy these videos.

This was wonderful and you certainly fixed how Rhea was portrayed in this compared to part one. The desperation to see her mother return has always been quite evident and seeing it confronted and challenged like this is certainly refreshing and I can't wait to see how Sitri will change the other routes as each do offer something unique.
If we go with Edelgard, then this may change or further cement her stance on the church as instead of a the partial picture she originally had, she'd have the whole thing.
If we go with Dimitri, see how her warm and motherly personality my help sooth and heal his heart sooner and/or possibly prevent Rodrigue's death.
If we go with Silver Snow, it would be interesting especially if we go by your improved version of that route as Rhea would have more presence in it.
Even Claude, who at first I didn't think much would change, may do so with the full picture and may side with Edelgard like he does in Three Hopes.
I just imagine the students freaking out at the end, because they basically got the entirety of the lore dumps from the end of SS and VW dumped on them at once. I’m most curious about how CF will play out, because Edelgard was acting on some *extremely* flawed information in the original timelines, and never made any attempt to learn more. Here, Edelgard has the full story of both Byleth’s origins and the truth behind the War of Heroes unceremoniously dropped in her lap right when her plans spring into action.
Edelgard did have the truth of the war of heroes just not the context leading up to it, i.e Nemises killing Solthes and making weapons out her kin, due to the Empire's royal family documenting the events over the course of history since it's inception.
Then again that wasn't the War of Heroes then the lead up to the founding of Nemises' empire. really Edelgard's info wasn't that flawed, with only the orgin of the hero's relics and Byleth being the unknown. the rest coming from the combination of the royal libary, the discared books hidden in the Abyss, and the argarthens. with all of edelgard statments about the church/Rhea being true .

That was an exciting video. I really hope you do the route parts. I think where Sitri could really shine is on the Blue Lion route. I think her manner and empathy could really have a big influence on Dimitri. The other lions too, of course. Everyone has been through a lot in this house and I think helping and advising these poor souls is exactly what Sitris are concerned about. I don't know if you want to include romance but I think it would be interesting to see how sitri handles it especially with someone like Dimitri should he be it?

First I was happy that you included that picture of Lysthea Byleth and Byleth’s parents (Because I love that artwork.) That Said, this fanfic has definitely going in a interesting direction, Byleth’s collapsing was Excellent foreshadowing for later with how Sitri reacted, Having Sitri Secretly join the battle at remire, I loved that ballroom dance part and it was lovely, the moment with Jeralt’s untimely passing was handled so well with everyone’s reactions to it (and props for making Leonie actually feel sad and understanding for Byleth especially after the main game had the B Support unlocked at the worst possible time), Byleth’s fight with Kyrona and her reactions for entering Solon’s trap, Rhea and Seteth’s argument having much more emphasis, and finally that final bit when Sitri, Seteth and Flayn pieces everything together.
But what I really liked the most was the ending where Sitri, Seteth, and Flayn stop Byleth from sitting on the throne and finally realized what Rhea planned to do, Sitri reveals that she is actually Rhea’s daughter because Rhea created her as her 12th Homunculus (which technically makes Byleth Rhea’s Grandchild), Seteth and Flayn reveals their and Rhea’s identities as Cichol, Cetheen, and Serios respectfully and that Serios and Cichol are actually Sister and Brother (which makes Sitri and Flayn’s closeness makes sense since they’re cousins) since Serios and Cichol are the Children Of Sothis, and most importantly how despite that Sothis herself forbid any attempts of reviving her and that Sitri Originally gave up Her life for Byleth to live a happy one, Rhea’s plan to have Byleth gone and having the body taken over by the ghost of Sothis anyway, caused Byleth (rightfully so) to get super angry at her grandmother for both lying to her, Sitri, Seteth, and Flayn, as well as only being nice to Byleth only to sacrifice her for selfish reasons that even the Goddess didn’t want, I doubt many people would trust Rhea again after this (funny how this fanfic did make a “Revaluation” happen at the tomb but not in the way Rhea wanted)
Anyway I really think this fanfic is Definitely Going to get interesting once the route split happens and especially how the students would react to this knowledge and props for making everyone of the cast perfectly in character for everything that transpired. I give this piece of the fanfic a 9.5/10
I can't wait to see how you decide to do the white cloud's story after this. I feel like the other 3 routes won't need to change too much with Sitri's involvement because they are still the lord's stories, but Rhea in particular has had a lot happen to her in your version of white clouds. Will you put the focus on Rhea or Nabatean's as a whole, with Indect and Macuil making an appearance? Will the knights of Seiros still fight under the command of Seiros after everything that has transpired? How will characters like Alois or Catherine react to Rhea's actions? I can't wait for the next upload and I hope you have fun when writing it.

I feel like AM is the only route that I can’t see being significantly affected by this, because the ending of this part basically included the entirety of the lore dumps of both SS and VW. I don’t think Edelgard ever learned the truth behind the relic weapons in any of the original timelines (even in Three Hopes), and that could _significantly_ affect how CF plays out, while Claude basically learned more than he did at the end of his story before the halfway point.
As a fic writer myself, I'm incredibly impressed by what you've come up with for this idea. I think it's worth noting that this narrative can only be really told in this style, as fics that tend to go along with canon can get slightly repetitive when reading. But in a video essay format, it shines brightly. You've done a splendid job with this so far, and I hope that like goal happens, as I'd love to see the rest of this play out for all four of the routes.

I have a idea about what would transpired at the Holy Tome.
So the Flame Emperor with the imperial army along with Metodey and his band of thieves enters the Holy Tome as normal. But the Flame Emperor after ease dropping on the whole heated conversation between Byleth, Seteth, Flayn, Sitri, and Rhea decide to uses this to further advantage and drop my truths about Rhea onto the student hoping to get them to turn on Rhea and join they side. After more heated arguments when Rhea shouted Sitri name out loud, Metodey hearing this was abled to recognize Sitri as the same dead woman that Aelfric mentioned about reviving with the Chalice of Beginnings when Metodey had held him captive back in Cindered Shadows. Metodey then teleports right behind Sitri grab her from behind and teleport away with her. Now Sitri being held hostage by Metodey with a knife pointed at her throat much to everybody shock.
Sitri: Ahhh! Let me go!
Byleth: Mother!!
Metodey: Hahahaha! You heard that boys!? This woman right here is going to fetch us our profits, more then the Imperial Army could ever offer us.
Byleth: If you wish to walk out of here alive, then let my mother go this instinct!
Metodey: Shut up! You are in no position to make demands with me in this kind of situation your in young lady. Now… GIMME THE CHALICE OR I GET TO SEE THIS WOMAN THROAT SLID OPEN!!
Flame Emperor: Metodey! That num is not our primary objective right there. As your employer i order you to stand down right now.
Metodey: I’m not taking orders from you anymore Flame Emperor. Or should i say… Edelgard von Hresvelg.
After listening to what Metodey just said, the Flame Emperor identity is none other then Edelgard herself. Shocking all of the students, Byleth Sitri, Seteth, and Flayn. But Rhea and Dimitri(in Blue Lions route) are furious. Dimitri immediately goes after Edelgard killing any imperial soldier that dare stands in his way. And Rhea having second thoughts about going through all of this, but after what had just transpired, she decided to go against Seteth's wishes and still try’s to sacrifice Byleth’s life hoping that the goddess Sothis returns and destroyed all of her enemy’s in one fell swoop. This results in a four way stand off battle between Byleth with her students alongside Seteth and Flayn, Rhea and the Knights of Seiros with Catherine soon joins the battle, the unmasked Edelgard with the Imperial Army and Hubert joins as well, and Metodey's thieves well Metodey himself try’s to make off with Sitri. Byleth chase after Metodey trying to save her mother, but is stop by Rhea still trying to force the professor upon the throne. She is stop by Seteth allowing Byleth to escape and go off to rescue Sitri. After taking a blow from his spear, Rhea then shouted this at Seteth.
Rhea: You would dare point your spear at me Cichol! By doing this, you have betray our mother’s blessing! Now both you, along with your daughter Cethleann, are traitors to the Knight of Seiros and will be sentence to execution by death along with the traitorous Edelgard and thoses band of ruffians! You will forever regret your decision for what little life you will have remain now Cichol!
Seteth: Rhea…
The battle unfold with Byleth, Flayn, and some of the students against Metodey with Sitri soon escaping his grasp, Seteth vs Rhea, some of the remaining students against imperial soldiers, Metodey's bandits, and the Knight of Seiros with Catherine, and finally Dimitri and Dedue or Claude and Hilda, vs both Edelgard and Hubert.
And that my idea on how the battle in the Holy Tome plays out. So what do you think of my idea BlazingKnight? Otherwise this was a great video that you work on. Keep up the good work.
For the blue lions route specifically that would definitely make for a very dramatic conflict that is extremely personal on all sides and the moments with Metody would tie in nicely will silver snow. It's definitely a good start to establish how the time-skip would play out and thanks very much for sharing it with me.

An amazing follow up. Gotta say, I am glad you readjusted and managed to keep to the characters with your own spin on things. This part in particular was very engaging
Sitri piecing together something being wrong was good. It also helps to allow her to have an impact in all four story paths. I will say I was surprised you added how she seemed to believe the Flame Emperor. Knowing what I know, Edelgard would try to develop that bridge to both earn favor and assure Byleth's family she means no ill will. And Sitri would reciprocate, being as tender-hearted as she is and wanting to find ways to avoid what may come.
The cause of sorrow was handled very well. Both how things were with the ball scene and Jeralt's death had the right emotional weight and juxtaposed each other beautifully, even better than in game since there is more of an investment with Sitri being a factor. I also really enjoy how you had Jeralt be stunned, but then accept Sitri's aid after she shows how strong of a mage she is. This makes sense, as Jeralt is not one to discount someone who can be an asset in a fight. And since she was already there, best to have her stay close and help rather than send her off.
I would say Byleth's hesitance would be warranted, but they wouldn't splurge about Sothis out in the open. That'd be the only change I'd make regarding them telling Sitri about Sothis's presence in their lives. Mainly because this info would be dangerous if Rhea heard, who would accelerate the ceremony timeline and try to get it done much sooner or sequester Byleth away until it was time.
The confrontation in the Holy Tomb scene was quite the shake up. But it wasn't entirely out of place. Seteth himself would want to stop this, as he feels it goes too far. And we know this in canon as he questions the purpose and would not condone it. Rhea losing her cool would occur, and her revealing who Flayn and Seteth are only makes sense if, like how you did, they revealed she was Seiros. And the students would even voice their own outrage too. Ferdinand would be beside himself with indignation at the thought, Ignatz would question Rhea nervously, Leonie would be peeved beyond compare goddess be damned, and even someone like Ingrid would strongly question what this was all for. But, since you are being all-encompassing with the story, I understand the restriction here.
As far as what I would want to see, I wanna stick with CF (as that is my favorite route). I could definitely see Sitri (if she went with Byleth) acting motherly to Edelgard when not in public and even looking after her during the five year gap. But she would also question if Edelgard needed to align with the Agarthans at the later point, especially when Byleth returns. Not to say Edelgard was wrong, but more if Edelgard should sacrifice her beliefs and ideals just for the sake of freeing Fodlan.
Overall, absolutely brilliant! You do an amazing job with this "What If?" scenario. I am eager to see what might come next with these different story paths you take.

Byleth trusts Sitri wouldn't tell anyone about Sothis; the only reason Sitri did tell Seteth and Flayn is because she felt her child was in danger.

22:48 The one thing that always bugged me about this cutscene is the fact that Jeralt decided to not have his back shield on that day, seriously look at Jeralt any other time you see him and he's wearing a back shield, like its there for a reason. If that isn't forshadowing I don't know what is.
Also now that you've given Sitri more doubt towards Rhea it feels possible for her to join Byleth in the Crimson Flower route, though I worry what would happen in the Silver Snow route at the end. Maybe if she has a A rank she'll live after the whole cursed blood crap going down but at the cost of Lady Rhea.
Who knows maybe there could be a fifth ending where instead of Edelgard declaring war on the church she asks Byleth and the church to help her eradicate the Agarthians properly. And then once that's done start taking down the church politically instead of war like she was doing in Three Hopes part One

Dude; I have wanted Flayn to burst out about their secret for so long. I feel as if she had never wanted to keep that secret. She even slips in Warriors in their side quest calling Indec her uncle. I personally want to see either the golden deer route or the silver snow route. Not gonna lie though. The five year gap is gonna tear Sitri up. I'm also getting some nice connections between Seteth and Sitri that are very heartwarming.

Edelgard may initially not want their race to exist but she isn't completely unreasonable, heck in Crimson Flower it's possible to spare Seteth and Flayn and let them live out their lives in hiding.

There is also the fact that Edelgard is willing to use the Crest Stones of their family to mutate her soldiers into beasts, which she does in every route.
Like you have to have them ignore everything Edelgard dose simple to try and justify them siding with her.

So......story got me to cry, made me care for Jeralt who initially I blew off, fixed really annoying character bits from the game ((Looking at our favorite tomboy from the Golden Deer)) and literally makes me want to see this in game now. Seriously the writing and voice work is just awesome and I cant thank you enough for such a story.

This is outright amazing. The story is engaging and very well thought out. And like someone mentioned, and what you intended, this could go any way. But I might have a potential thought.
Given how Rhea was downright exposed in her intentions with Byleth and Sitri, it opens up a gateway to changes in every route.
In Crimson Flower, it would only motivate Edelgard even more to push her war against the Church, considering how Rhea saw the Eisners (Byleth and Sitri) as tools. However, given the attachment that Seteth and Flayn now have towards the two, they could feel more inclined to join the Black Eagle Strike Force. The outcome with Dimitri and Claude would likely be the same with a slight chance of them being able to be persuaded to at least go against Rhea.
In Azure Moon, Dimitri would be completely lost to madness. Not only was Edelgard the Flame Emperor that caused so much pain to him, Byleth, and Sitri, but also the fact that Rhea is absolutely crazy. And since the Church has great influence in Faerghus, Dimitri would likely remain in his Savage Boar state for a bit longer. However, he might also finally be able to see Edelgard’s point of view, allowing the potential for the two to finally get a chance to fight alongside each other in the end. (Yes, he’d still try to kill her first)
In Verdant Winds, Claude already had his doubts about Rhea, but seeing this sealed the deal. He’d likely turn his back on the Church. Whether or not the Leicester Alliance would side with the Empire is kinda in the air. But he would likely do what’s best for Byleth and Sitri, considering how he would realize how much danger they would be in. And finally, with the war against Those Who Slither in the Dark, not much would change.
For Silver Snow, it would be COMPLETELY different. How I imagine this is instead of turning against Edelgard for the Church, instead, Byleth goes rogue essentially, not siding with either of them. Obviously Sitri would go with her, as well as Flayn and Seteth. With really no one else but each other, they’d just sort of be on the run. But Yuri steps in and helps them all escape. He and the Ashen Wolves are able to get everyone to safety except for Byleth, who still falls into her 5 year slumber. Upon awakening, she heads to the Monastery, now in ruins, to be greeted by Yuri and Sitri. They bring her back to Abyss, where Seteth, Flayn, the Ashen Wolves, and Alois are waiting. They all come to agree to unite the three Lords once again to fight against Rhea, since she poses the greatest threat. But this would be easier said than done.
If a Part 3 comes out, I think maintaining a neutral story between the houses would be fantastic. Either way it will be an awesome story.

These videos have very recently caught my eye, and now more than ever am I disappointed with RUclips's algorithm that they don't have more than 1.7k likes combined.
This current duology is a breath of fresh air fanfic that effectively turns the entirety of White Clouds on its head, while simultaneously changing almost nothing at all about the progression or events of the story.
As I am typing this, currently I am writing a "trio" of TH fanfics that all take place during White Clouds and have the same overarching story, just seen from different perspectives by the player, given their choice.
Upon watching this, now you have given me the divine inspiration to add a Sitri-centric revival plotline alongside my complete rewrite of Cindered Shadows. And for that, you get a real good thanking.
Oh, and for those who are interested, the "routes" and stories we have are:

There's even a lot of things you've had happen that don't even affect my own story!
For example, I LOVE the new ending of Rumors of a Reaper.
Giving Jeritza a proper introduction as an antagonistic force really emphasizes how present he'll be in the story going forward. It also properly reveals to the players that Jeritza actually IS the Death Knight, the only way it is in Three Houses proper is if you do Mercedes & Caspar's Paralogue, (Which, how would you even know they had one?) or an update in Crimson Flower when Jeritza just shows up and goes "Oh yeah I'm the Death Knight" with no interesting reveal or anything.
I do think Mercedes calling out for him by "Emile" should be exclusive to Azure Moon, or if the player has recruited Mercedes by this point. And if the player does have Constance or Annette, they can hear them talking about Mercedes' interrogation by Rhea.

I really like this concept and series, I hope you get the 2k likes to make the rest of the series.
As for cool ideas, I kinda like the idea of Sitri (or maybe Mercedes because of Sitri's influence) acting as a trauma therapist for Dimitri during the time skip so that he can be more than the "Boar Prince" on the non-AM routes, even if his ultimate fate remains the same on those routes.
For Golden Wind, It is interesting that on non-GW routes, Claude still acts simalarly to his part 1 personality, but on Golden Wind, due to Byleth's kindness, he is able to became someone who is more open and trusting. I can only imagine that Sitri would only magnify that change and effect.
Honestly I'm most curious about how Sitri would spend the time-skip, though if I had to guess, I thin you are setting things up so that Sitri is with Seteth and Flayn during the time-skip. Also it looks like you are attempting to setup a potintial romance between Ciohol and Sitri. Is that your intention or am i reading something that isn't there?

Well, It's Fire Emblem, some traditions die hard lol^^
first of all, i love this series. i can't wait for Part 3 and seeing how the timeskips would play off with Sitri in there. i know she won't be a major focus cuz they're meant to be the stories for the house leaders, but it's still interesting to hear about.
i have a few ideas... mainly for Azure Moon cuz im biased lel
one thing that could be universal for all the routes tho, is Sitri calling Rhea, Seiros, especially in Crimson Flower. this is mainly because since the monastery fell, Sitri helped the Knights, Seteth, and Flayn with searching for Rhea, she could've seen the harm Rhea has done. all of that plus what she tried to do in the Holy Tomb, this would slowly but surely have her start to distance Rhea from her heart. while in Crimson Flower, she just calls Rhea, Seiros, and even tho she views Rhea as the enemy, she still wishes to resolve the conflict peacefully in honor of the love and the memories Rhea gave her
while the story for Azure Moon will stay the same, since this is Dimitri's story, Dimitri would say things like, "i couldn't care less about what happens that nuisance." whenever someone brings up saving Rhea from the Empire, the 'nuisance' in question obviously being Rhea. maybe if Sitri has supports with the house leaders, her B or B+-Support with Dimitri (after the 'your hands are warm' scene) could be Dimitri apologising to Sitri for his choice of words he had directed towards Rhea, saying that most of the reason why he said such things about the Archbishop was because of her actions right when Sitri was revived from being shoved aggressively to the wall with the possiblity of being severely injured, to trying to basically get rid of his Professor. To which, Sitri can respond with something like, "i'm not mad. in fact, i understand your dislike of Rhea. i still need to get over my grievances about her too. but i am glad that you can to me personally to apologise, to which, i accept.". the two start having a heart to heart and Sitri makes notice of Dimitri's similarities with Jeralt. she also sees the way he looks at her daughter when she smiles, which also reminds her of Jeralt. and for their A-Support, Sitri can put on that maternal persona for Dimitri since he damn well needs it, and says, "i am always here for you, Sweetie.". And 'Sweetie' can be interpreted as Sitri just being a mother figure for Dimitri and giving him an affectionate nickname, i also noticed that in your story, you have Sitri call Byleth 'Sweetie' a number of times. so with Sitri also noticing Dimitri is similar to Jeralt and how he is with Byleth, this could also be read as if Dimitri was going to be romanced by Byleth, Sitri approves and already sees Dimitri as a son-in-law.
this is mainly basic stuff and i can see some of this play out in other house leaders similarly, but obviously some changes here and there to fit with the other two house leaders

Considering the events in the Holy Tomb, there's no question Sitri would join whatever side Byleth ends up choosing. As for Seteth and Flayn, I think there's a good chance they might follow suit.

Maybe I'm mistaken, but I believe it it implied in Silver Snow that Sitri knew she was the 12th failed vessel of Sothis, and that Rhea regardless allowed her to live within Garreg Mach. Sitri being a Nabatean homonculus (artificial human), giving her heart to her child meant by definition giving her crest stone, Crest stones being the litteral hearts of Nabateans, she wouldn't be surprised by it since she already know what she is.
Well this is a fan fic. And Sitri’s memory could be slightly blurry on that part after being brought to life

Honestly, if it's ANY ROUTE that Byleth and Sitri should go down, it is Crimson Flower, HANDS FUCKING DOWN.
After Sitri's outburst at Rhea in the Holy Tomb, while she'd be one of the more hesitant if not downright unapproving of Edelgard, seeing Byleth trust Edelgard may convince Sitri that they should go along with their child. (Which tbf she'd do on any route)
Although I suspect Sitri wouldn't be available for a few chapters (battling with the whole having to fight Rhea thing, and even downright refusing to fight during the final battle of the route.)
All the routes has reasons for byleth/Sitri to join them in this fic, though the ending defo gives off more crimson flower vibes, and honestly that route and SS are the ones I'm most interested to write since Sitri turning against Rhea speaks for itself, and in the case of SS seeing how Byleth's relationship with Rhea is affected now that they know the truth.

I feel as though Byleth being the perfect vessel comes from two factors.
1. They’re not one of Rhea’s Homunculi like Sitri was, she was born naturally. (Although, they were born from said Homunculus though.)
2. Byleth had the combine DNA of a crest of Seiros holder and one carrying Sothis’s heart inside causing them to resonate.
More than likely the case.

Honestly considering how this ended up, I’d be surprised to see a version of Silver Snow at all. We’ve already found out so many lies about the church and Rhea. Dimitri is now showing visible contempt toward her. I don’t see much of anything other than Crimson Flower taking place. Maybe all this information convinces Edelgard to go about things in a better way, similar to Scarlet Blaze in Three Hopes. And even Seteth and Flayn joining her, since everyone saw firsthand them defying Rhea
Every route can be followed on from this cliff hanger, though many things will be different, especially regarding silver snow.
Really the only thing that makes the route choices is Edelgard being the villain. Honestly I always considered crimson flower the best route but as long as Edelgard’s character doesn’t take a complete left-field nose dive here then all the routes are still technically open with some changes. Though I do agree there’s gonna have to be some real Houdini going on to get Silver Snow out of this lol
This story can make a really good silver snow
It definitely has the most potential to impact Silver Snow given Sitri and rhea's relation and I shall do my best to make it as entertain as possible.
A miss opportunity was having Aelfric appear similar to Sitri as Sothis did for byleth at jeralts tomb alone. With Sitri having a confusing mix of emotions in that moment. Only for Aelferic, with a face full fo shame and sorrow say softly. "All i wanted was for you to be happy Sitri, I moved the world for you and even Jeralt, and these past few months, just the sight of all the joy your brought into everyone life was more then worth the sacrifice i made for you." He would then look down at Jaralts tomb, face growing even more distract as his words hinges in places. "Yet even so, it appears all my efforts where for not, I saw in you more pain then you should ever have been made to bare. And for that...I feel I failed my promise to see you living happily."
Sitri would say nothing tears welling in her eyes, but to Aelfrics surprise she smiles despite it. "No Aelfric, even this sorrow i feel at my Jeralts passing doesn't blind me to the joy my revival has granted. Weather the monk was real or simply a figment of her mind, it mattered not. Only that she at least got to see and thank him one last time.
I thought of how Sitri's character is, and knew even through Aelfric's actions couldn't be easily forgiven, they where done out of the purest intention, and for that, she would be thankful to him. Suppose if you do a fallow up of this series into other routs, you can have this be something Sitri encounters revisiting her husbands grave in a time of retrospective.
You wrote a very emotional moment between the two, it was legit rather moving. I don't know if it's something I'll include going forward but regardless ehst you wrote was excellent, thanks for sharing it.

I wonder what you can do to make VW and SS interesting, since their respective lore dumps have been moved to the Holy Tomb chapters and there’s not much left that makes them distinct from the other routes.
There's various ways to make them interesting provided I don't just recycle the plot of the game, and given the current context that's highly unlikely to happen, especially in the case of SS.

Okay first off, I feel like sort of spoiled myself with all the truth Rhea's real intentions to Byleth since I only did Blue Lions for now. I think I'll layoff of siding to Rhea. I understand why she wanted to see her mother, but she should accept that she's gone and focus of finding TWSITD and avenge her for what they've done.
Anyway, the story is gripping me. I want to know more and I can't wait of what will happen next. If you don't mind me asking, are you gonna do a vid of each route that connects this? Just asking

Now I'm picturing Sitri as a playable unit. She would have a Mag stat that would put Lysithea and Constance to shame, and a really good Luck and Charm stat as well, but HP, Def, and Res are so pathetically abysmal that if an enemy makes a mean face at her, she'll explode.
I personally don't see Sitri having magic on their level but still high regardless, I'd imagine she'd have very good res, luck and charm as her best stats.
@@BLAZINGKNIGHT50 I would say high spd, luck and charm but low hp, Def, and res and decently good everything else. You did show that Sitri dashed to the Holy Tomb very quickly as by Seteth and Flayn’s shock, luck bc well having a 2nd chance at life, and charm makes sense too
It would be nice Edelgard gain a bit of her three hopes persona in this fanfic that would be awesome if she broke away from TWSITD in the five year time skip and maybe at the end of her story Foldan is still the same with Thales dead and Rhea either stepping down from archbishop or dying in battle I love this fanfic Blaze I really do I'm sure Dimtri and Claude will gain some of their three hopes persona's since Sitri is around who knows I hope it's a great ending for this amazing fanfic cause I love it

That and she wouldn’t have been there two of three possible times to hear it. The only instance where she’s already down there to hear all this is Black Eagles and by that point it’s way to late to turn back. Even if she told Metodey to stop Rhea would probably still order her arrested and put to death forcing the fight considering it is well Rhea and she’s already having a bit of a turbulent moment.
And even if Edelgard wanted to abort there is still Thales to consider who as Azure Gleam demonstrated can completely upend any attempt by Edelgard to break free if to much is going against her.
Well Edelgard goal has always been complete control over Fodlan so nothing here changes that Rhea and the chruch were just an excuse to justify it to her people.
I wonder how this will Impact Seteth and Flayn's actions in Crimson Flower? Will they still fight with Rhea?
And I love the voice for the Flame 'Empress' it leans more to their true identity.

Watching this from a 'have never played 3H' perspective, it's kind of interesting how something as seemingly impactful as "the Protagonist's Mother not being dead" doesn't seem to change the results of the Academy phase - Jeralt still dies, Sothis still fuses with Byleth, and there doesn't seem to be a route where the incoming conflict is reduced in scale by any significance. The only real impact that I can see is that the important people to the story figuring out what Rhea is doing much earlier.
I also though that a fused Byleth sitting on the throne wouldn't actually replace Byleth (doesn't something happen in the original game?), so I wonder if that's a potential route. Silver Snow, maybe?
