Sometimes that's easier said than done. Those insecurities are deeply ingrained since his childhood; and no matter how successful he is today, those old wounds still exist for him. Louis needs therapy. Until he realizes his problem and gets help, he'll never overcome the vicious cycle he's in.

Harvey is supposedly the top 2 best in the entire states so he is definitely in this bracket according to the series and so his yearly salary in the show is anywhere from $730,000 - $2M this is just his firm salary and doesn't includes stocks which would take it much higher.
Not a lawyer but I think that Harvey in the show would be pulling MUCH more than $2M. Contingency fees on settlements are at least 15% and Harvey is a “rainmaker” which to me means fewer billable hours, but huge sums to the firm in contingency and other performance fees. I’d guess that Harvey would have a base salary of $2-$3M and total compensation of $10-$15 million.
Honestly, Louis had a way out when Harvey offered him to team up if he admitted it was him and they fight together. They are the top two lawyers at the firm so I doubt the firm would risk losing both of them. And that was the validation Louis was looking for the entire time. Harvey respected him so much he knew the two together would beat the entire firm if they went against them.

There were some cases in 2018 that brought some of top lawyers in New York contracts to be exposed, one of them was signed to a $11.1m for 5 years + signing bonus. Some others were in the 8 and 9 million per annum range.
All of them would know he makes way more than them at an actual firm. Especially when his case load is twice as large as theirs and he works with all the highest paying clients.

His fortune is way higher than it, around 400mil, thats why Harvey and Jessica looked at him so impressed. Also the Class Action Suit that Pearson Specter Litt were facing, was around 100 million too, and Louis was the only one who could finance alone the legal battle.

I really enjoyed how a lawyer out of loyalty to his admin opted to pay from his pocket to give her what he thought she was worth (as the firm not seeing her as that valuable wouldn't) and her response is to say it wasn't about loyalty but jealousy. Keeping in mind she was proud for being the highest paid admin at the firm meaning she thought the firm saw her as that valuable. Girls are weird. Support them for years, maintain the "package deal" agreed to, and they insult the guy for it.

If you look close enough, you can see the numbers written, but Louis. Louis said in one of the episodes, he was making as name partner 100mil a year. His fortune is way higher than it, around 400mil, thats why Harvey and Jessica looked at him so impressed. Also the Class Action Suit that Pearson Specter Litt were facing, was around 100 million too, and Louis was the only one who could finance alone the legal battle.

I really enjoyed how a lawyer out of loyalty to his admin opted to pay from his pocket to give her what he thought she was worth (as the firm not seeing her as that valuable wouldn't) and her response is to say it wasn't about loyalty but jealousy. Keeping in mind she was proud for being the highest paid admin at the firm meaning she thought the firm saw her as that valuable.
Girls are weird. Support them for years, maintain the "package deal" agreed to, and they insult the guy for it.
