Thank you for your video. I’m happy to see a black successful homeschooler. My kids are homeschooled and I always wanted to hear from adult homeschoolers!
Thank you so much and thanks for watching! It's such a hard thing to find so I'm happy to share my experience and hope others will too. Wishing your family much success
Thank you!! So helpful!! Looking forward to more homeschooling videos. Hopefully more highschool and college information. As I have a soon to be 10th grader.
I can across this 100% purely via curiosity. I will say of all videos I watched you made the best. You deserve more recognition as many people I feel your video is actually helpful. Good job.
I wish you had done this video months ago 😅 we have been going thru this process. Thank you for this video - you will be truly helping others with this.
Thank you for this video! I’ll be sharing this with my daughter who is entering her senior year this Fall. Have you worked with homeschooled students applying to HBCUs? When applying should the admissions office be contacted first to let them know to expect an application from a homeschooler?
So glad this was helpful! I have helped students applying to HBCUs. You don't have to let them know to expect it but you can ask if they have any specific requirements for homeschool applicants. Feel free to msg me with any specific questions
I'm researching homeschooling my daughter. College is a concern for me. If I homeschool her 9th -12th grade, I'm concerned about not having acceptable transcripts. I'll keep researching
How does finding employment affect a child who is homeschooled? I'm in North Carolina and parents make their own homeschool name and recieve a School ID but we not accredited.

I'm so glad it's helpful! I had a feeling that would happen since I filmed so late in the admissions season 😆

I'm also in NC! Are you talking about high school employment or future employment as as adult?
