Delinquant Daddy and Tender Teacher is my favourite manga series ever. It's very cute, though it does have some on page steamy bits. I want everyone to read it.

I'm not much a fan of sci-fi manga either, but I really enjoyed Astra Lost in Space if you ever decide to try the genre again. For slice of life manga, I highly recommend Yotsuba&!, Hitoribocchi no 00 Seikatsu, Insomniacs After School, Akane-banashi, and Soara and the House of Monsters. If you want a fantasy I think that you could enjoy Frieren: Beyond Journey's End; it's one of the best manga I've read.

yessss live in your manga era!!!! I'm always gonna recommend Love Me For Who I Am by Kata Konayama, it's queer found family and very sweet and a bit hardhitting too but the characters are great!!
I read that one earlier this year. I'm on volume 4!
I'm so proud of you! I think you will enjoy Knight of the Ice!! It's a figure skating manga that I really liked. I also think you should try Haikyu! It's more about the characters than the volleyball, but it is a series that completely surprised me.

I really like Witch Hat Atelier. It’s very much fantasy manga though, not slice of life like the kitchen one. Hopefully your library has it so you can give it a try.
