I nearly died of laughter when Rebel laughs and Richard gives her a stare and says "this is my life... this is my life, Rebel"

£7 to see Michelangelo's David?! That's a bargain. I paid twenty bloody quid to get into the Tower of London recently and it was, quite frankly, shite.

he has a point though. this is why individuals don't make masterpieces anymore like Michelangelo for example, i'ts because everyone is mediocre to a lot of things instead of brilliant to a couple. It's the jack of all trades era

I think you need to look a little harder. I think you'll find more people doing amazing things than ever before in history. Remember, publicity rules art.

Chip yard maybe they do. Maybe you are right. Time will tell i suppose, history will record these marvels i hope, maybe thats why we don't see them too because we live in them at the moment maybe the next marvellous person to make something is making it right now or maybe we are oversaturated with the evolution of technology right now that ideas like inventing the wheel or building a massive sculpture seem more extravagant than inventions like the autonomous car or even the microchip which might look small in comparison ( for example: we invented the car! Amazing! We made electronics and supercomputers real! Cool right, but putting those two together may seem easier than pioneering the telephone ). Its easy for me to look back in hundreds of years of history and read about these achievements now. I guess in 40 years they will be talking about the man who invented the internet with awe.

there are thousands of masterpieces like this being created worldwide each day. The problem is the world just doesn't care anymore. We're to be busy looking at our phones or listening to crappy pop music on the radio.

It's pretty weird you should say that. Never heard the term "Renaissance man?"
Even Michelangelo did a lot more brilliant things than just sculpting.

      P. K P. K Two men (Robert Kahn and Vinton Cerf) 3 if you include who invented the world wide web (Tim Berners-Lee). And if we're getting technical, Kahn and Cerf coming up with TCP/IP was the result of a DoD research project. Whether or not people talk about any of them "in awe" is completely subjective, but I'm sure they're talked about plenty in IT schools, and quite possibly briefly in high school. I have no idea what the History class curriculum looks like these days.

He also does another show called Gadgetman where the country remains the same but there is a doohickey involved. And a celebrity.

Richard needs to pronounce Uffizi properly! Did none of his producers correct him? Why is it that the English fail with Italian and Spanish pronunciations?

Ehh if Somehow we end up traveling, I hope your expectations of me isn’t to much.
Most of the time I’ll have a runny nose and be suspicious of all food. And probably veer towards the above video.
    ^just a fair warning
I just am kind of like the above two. I can’t help it.
