- This is a detailed vlog of the stunning Koh Phangan Island where we went from Koh Tao and our honest full moon party experience in November 2022.
We had taken a ferry from Koh Tao to reach Koh Phangan (Donsak Pier). It was a unique experience to see a party unfold at the Haad Rin beach with more than 30k people attending it from all over the world.
If you want to know where to stay in Koh Phangan, Haad Rin beach & near by areas is the best place to stay but make sure you book in advance as it gets extremely costly on the full moon day and it is very hard to find a place.

Hi Amar, Yes ! It would start in the evening of Jan 6.

Hi Carlos, It’s better to use the local currency and people generally use cash at the stalls/restaurants at the full moon party. You can keep a forex card as a backup option. Hope you have a good vacay😌

I am looking to visit Koh Phangan for the FMP at the end of November this year (27th), I have heard going at this time isn't the best because it's the rainy season, did it rain much when you went last November?
Hi, We had gone to FMP in early November and as you can see in the video,it was bright and sunny at that time. The other islands like Koh Samui weren’t too crowded coz it wasn’t a tourist season. But Yes I heard from the local guides that weather is best from December.

Hi Soumya can you please tell me there is one full moon party on 29th September and I have my flight from phuket on 30th September can I make it? As it's far
I will be there on the party on 29th. Depends what time your flight is. It will take you 5-7 hours to reach phuket from koh phangan. So if you have a late night flight on 30th, you won’t have a problem attending this. Also, there’s pre party on 28th which you can attend. Won’t be as crazy as the actual party. But you will get the vibe
Full moon party is done which day of the month
Hi ! It happens once every month on the day of the “Full Moon”. You can check out the full moon calendar for the upcoming dates.

Hi Somya,
I think it would be very hectic for you to catch your flight the next day from phuket. After the party, You might need to take a ferry to Koh Samui to catch a flight to phuket and the ferry would only operate next morning (30th Sept). If you think you have enough buffer time between reaching phuket and taking a flight from phuket (depends on the time of your flight ultimately) then you can plan accordingly.
I have my flight at 7:30pm from phuket and if I take a morning ferry to Surat Thani and then bus to phuket it will take 7 hrs so it's like I can take a risk but just asking will it be worth it

But I have very economical plans for who ever will go doesn't go far for our own economical problem I suggest phi phi island and phuket fhulmoon party any same as I recommend you all people who ever wanted to go there. I have reached there all many times so I tell you kophagan is not too very where is it to mostly go all people but any where karabi same as, phuket, phi phi same as full moon party you enjoy there because kophagan most expensive more than all the destinations but all same as as well ass here
