Atheists have much more diverse beliefs since they’re more open to new ideas/understandings. It was inevitable that they would have some disagreements because of this. My problem with religion, in general, is the sheer amount of factors that are universally agreed on in a specific religion. The belief its self that something can be entirely truthful is the very reason many cults and groups have lead to the mass suicide of innocent people. While it can have benefits like living “moral” lives it can also have great dangers. Countless studies have shown that people are more likely to change their opinions based on what the majority believes even if they are certain it is wrong. I’m not saying things like family and community are the reason everyone becomes religious because i know people who have experienced things that they consider to be proof of gods existence. My point is, leaning towards the majority isn’t always safe and beliefs can be very easily manipulated under the right circumstances either intentionally or not. Theres no certain way to know weather anything is true which is why i choose to believe in what i think is most logically accurate (based on the information available to me).

Besides Saudi Arabia, businesses based in the United Arab Emirates provide "significant funds" for the Afghan Taliban and their militant partners the Haqqani network according to one US embassy cable released by Wikileaks.[189] According to a January 2010 US intelligence report, "two senior Taliban fundraisers" had regularly travelled to the UAE, where the Taliban and Haqqani networks laundered money through local front companies.[187] (The reports complained of weak financial regulation and porous borders in the UAE, but not difficulties in persuading UAE officials of terrorist danger.) Kuwait was described as a "source of funds and a key transit point" for al-Qaida and other militant groups, whose government was concerned about terror attacks on its own soil, but "less inclined to take action against Kuwait-based financiers and facilitators plotting attacks" in our countries.[187] Kuwait refused to ban the Society of the Revival of Islamic Heritage, which the US had designated a terrorist entity in June 2008 for providing aid to al-Qaida and affiliated groups, including LeT.[187] According to the cables, "overall level" of counter-terror co-operation with the U.S. was "considered the worst in the region".[187] More recently, in late 2014, US Vice President also complained "the Saudis, the Emirates" had "poured hundreds of millions of dollars and tens of tons of weapons" into Syria for "al-Nusra, and al-Qaeda, and the extremist elements of jihadis."[167]
In October 2014 Zacarias Moussaoui, an Al-Qaeda member imprisoned in the US testified under oath that members of the Saudi royal family supported al Qaeda. According to Moussaoui, he was tasked by Osama bin Laden with creating a digital database to catalog al Qaeda's donors, and that donors he entered into the database including several members of the Saudi Royal family, including Prince Turki al-Faisal Al Saud, former director-general of Saudi Arabia's Foreign Intelligence Service and ambassador to the United States, and others he named in his testimony. Saudi government representatives have denied the charges. According to the 9/11 Commission Report, while it is possible that charities with significant Saudi government sponsorship diverted funds to al Qaeda, and "Saudi Arabia has long been considered the primary source of al Qaeda funding, ... we have found no evidence that the Saudi government as an institution or senior Saudi officials individually funded the organization."[190]
As of 2014, “deep-pocket donors and charitable organizations” in the Arabian gulf, are still providing "millions of dollars worth of aid to Al Qaeda and other terrorist organizations, according to David S. Cohen, the US Department of Treasury under secretary for terrorism and financial intelligence at the time.[191]

@@MeteorBoy23 There is nothing about a singularity in this verse and a singularity is not "one mass". Mass came later. The big bang theory states that the universe is expanding, not that something was split apart. "Heaven" is just an abstract concept, it doesn't actually exist, and the "earth" at least didn't exist at the beginning. There is nothing about a "universe" either in this verse. Like everything is wrong in here.
Considering other creation myths preceding the quran this seems to refer to some "world egg" myth. You know, an egg is cracked open, its shell is split apart, and the world containing heaven and earth hatches from it. It is often combined with the egg laying in the primordial waters of earth. Hence the water in the verse.
Also, every five year old has a picture of all living things needing water to survive and grow. Nothing special about that anyways.
Quran 51:47 doesn't say that the universe is expanding. It just says that Allah is the expander of the sky/heaven/firmament, not that he is still expanding them or some universe. This is more like heaven's tent spreading until the horizon.

@@markh1011 Neo-atheist Daniel Dennet, says, "there is no such thing as philosophy-free Science. There is only Science whose philosophical baggage is taken on board without examination". He speaks of scientists too, which can be understood as scientists who say "we don't have certain beliefs. We have certain knowledge" lie to themselves because there are philosophical assumptions behind their conclusions.
Michael Ruse, a famous Atheist evolutionist, has written a book, "Darwin As Religion", published by the Oxford University Press/ he is well published. He has spoken about evolution as an ideology and secular religion as "a full-fledged alternative to Christianity with meaning and morality, evolution is a religion, this was true of evolution in the beginning and it true of evolution still today".
You state yourself Science doesn't disprove God. Richard Lewontin and Thomas Nagle (known atheists) basically say they don't want to believe in God.
The latter has written a book saying the last half century of materialist neo-Darwin science is almost certainly false.
So we have prominent atheists who believe atheism is a religion and do not want to believe in God because they have chosen this view philosophically for their desires/worldview. This view is not proven by the Scientific method - honest Atheists are saying this. For some even if the evidence of God was manifest many will not believe:
"And even if We had sent down to them the angels [with the message] and the dead spoke to them [of it], and We gathered together every [created] thing in front of them, they would not believe unless Allāh should will. But most of them, [of that], are ignorant. Qur'an 6:111“
Regarding the natural disposition in Islam, we call this the Fitrah. This is not intuition or superstition (True Islam does not anthropomorphise God). It is your original nature, natural religion, primary state, and mould. There are more things in the Fitrah which we believe are from birth. Check out Dr Justin Barrett's studies/articles:
"A senior researcher at the University of Oxford's Centre for Anthropology and Mind, following several years of research, claims that young people have the predisposition to believe in a supreme being because they assume that everything in the world was created with a purpose. He says that young children have faith even when they have not been taught about it by family or at school and argues that even those raised alone on a desert island would come to believe in God."
In your view, we are naturally born with the incorrect primary state - this does not make sense with evolution/natural selection/philosophical assumptions.
In Islam, we believe this primary state can be corrupted without guidance.
These arguments about contingency/philosophy will only go around in circles forever as you/we can assume what we want without examination.
Many arguments can be made on sense perception alone (to see, hear and reflect) regarding the existence of The Creator for people of all knowledge levels. No intellectual gymnastics needs to be done. Sense perception which is what the Qur'an uses and is incontestable against the philosophical arguments that only exist in the mind and is not specific.
For example, the physical phone in your hand reading this message is evidence of the actual tangible true existence of the people who made the phone. You know that these people have the knowledge, will, and power, and the phone has a purpose.
So let's take this further with biological cells' organelles that carry out different life processes in plants and animals. Studies/research at Edinburgh University through observation has found these cell processes move coded charged molecules with information and instructions inside their structure, similar to how computers send signals through various circuits. The cell's function is coordinated through a network of nanotubes similar to carbon nanotubes inside a computer microprocessor using electric currents.
However, this biological cell network is flexible. It can rapidly reconfigure its output depending on the information received and relayed from the nucleus, which no man-made processor/circuit is capable of doing.
A Creator here is self-evident with knowledge, design, will and power. There are many examples like this if you reflect but you deny it.
However, we laud our creators who create processors/technology with precision, design, knowledge, will and power that have a purpose.
The cell's behaviour is superior, which we can observe, but you say it's from chance/randomness/evolution or something similar.
"The creation of the heavens and earth is greater than the creation of mankind, but most of the people do not know. Qur'an 40:57"
"And He shows you His signs. Now which of Allah's signs will you deny? Qur'an 40:81"
The recording of words is the foundation of knowledge.
If something is true/beneficial, it does not matter how old it is. "Being old/long ago" is a poor excuse, and I doubt you have read any Qur'an intending to seek the truth.
What you believe are words from someone/a group in the past that is emotionally based on choice, on philosophical ideas of the mind and not based on a valid scientific method.
The Bible is not comparable to the Qur'an. They are very different in so many ways. The Qur'an is the highest form of Arabic and is used as an authority of grammar and linguistics. Its composition has been studied by non-Muslims saying it cannot of been orally delivered. How the Qur'an was delivered, preserved, recorded, recited and memorised is unique and free from contradiction. (I bet you will look for one that shows your intentions).
"Then do they not reflect upon the Qur'an? If it had been from [any] other than Allah, they would have found within it much contradiction. Qur'an 4:82"
Please do not take offence in my message to you.
If you are truthful, you have to admit the atheist position from the atheist above - whatever you believe. I pray that you reflect and be guided.
Also, please don't clip my message with short questions or your assumptions, ignoring my points or diverting away; that's the easy way out.
Bring some evidence that is not philosophical (not statements like intuition can be wrong, and Qur'an words are old).
I understand writing long messages is time-consuming. You may not have that time, and I don't either, but I wanted to deliver the message of Islam.
I probably won't reply to anything further, and you don't have to either. However, if you genuinely want to know more about Islam, I am happy to speak to you/continue.

Other say even if there is a God they don't want to believe/they follow their desires. So this is why I say emotional. At the end of the day for each person there is a subjective reason why and that person goes with the reasoning/evidence that appeals to them even if weak.
You may say the same about who believe God.
So it comes to different levels evidence and how strong that evidence is without doing too much gymnastics.
From a Islamic point of view, there is the inate/natural disposition in us that is knowledge built within ourselves that there is God. (there is Oxford studies on children regarding this).
Then there is tangible evidence, observations/tests, logic and science. I feel philosophical route is debated to death from both sides, you can always make a weak counter subjective argument.
Lastly is revalation/scripture and this to me is most important to believe in God. The Qur'an doesn't use philosophy, I urge you to read it if you haven't and see the questions He asks you.

Mashallah brother Ali. I have goosebumps after watching this video. When you understand the argument being composed from Ali himself, all 3 Atheists were not able to answer to the main argument which was revisited time and time again. They agreed upon the Universe being dependent, they agreed upon the universe changing so it can be composed of pieces, they agreed with the universe not being self sufficient. They even understood the point of infinite not existing, meaning it is finite, allowing them to acknowledge the fact there is a beginning and end, therefore the concept of “nothing” is silly. They agreed with everything Ali said but found stupid ways to get out of saying the truth of “there could be a God” , through points which weren’t relevant to the argument whatsoever. History and Morality which had nothing to do with the point brother Ali was saying. Alhamdullilah this is one of the most beautiful methods of proving existence of an independent deity to an atheist. I have never seen an argument which uses their own logic, reasoning and understanding of science to disprove them. The 3 brothers were respectful throughout and I pray Allah guides them to open their minds and let go of their ego, allowing them to speak what they have just agreed upon with Ali. If anyone can guide them to see the truth and accept it in their heart it is Allah SWT. “Indeed it is not the eyes that are blind, but the hearts”. May Allah guide us all onto the right path and keep up steadfast in our deen. Ameen 🤲

I believe that even our imagination of God cannot be equivalent to Him as an idea. The concept of God transcends comprehension by any being. His attributes, which are infinite in nature and number, are beyond our understanding.
We cannot even comprehend the very concept of infinity.

Mashallah your knowledge has really grown to a deep one Ali. Ps the concept of necessity is not one discredited by science, even if you consider science as a series of observations to understand the chain of events that lead to both the state, development and existence of certain entities, all still have physical dependencies. The guy himself explained a time domain is required for a bottle to drop. Therefore time itself is an entity that becomes a necessary principle for the occurrence of anything within our comprehension. Although time itself, to our knowledge, is also the occurance of certain physical events which take place, such as the continuation of the existence of certain entities (atomic clock). Therefore even to establish a consistent time framework we must agree on a recurring and consistent physical change in an entity such as an atom. This in itself demonstrates that time is linked to a definition that suits our ability to observe something replicable and define an absolute entity (as compared to it being largely arbitrary). God is beyond any such physical dependencies or even definitions. Hence why God himself has allowed us to only know certain attributes of him.

This is begging the question which they were, very politely, trying to point out to him. The contingency argument suffers the same fatal flaw as the kalam. It is arguing that what is true of the parts must be true of the whole. Or it is arguing that what is true in space-time must be true at the singularity (t=0). This is a logically flawed argument as a result. If scientists don't know the answer of how the universe began it's for damn sure theologians don't!

the atheist is mixing philosophy and science and going back and forth between statements without any argument. the middle guy first accepted the fact that the universe is a necessary existence and necessary existence is not contingent when its certainly by any standards not true especially if you wanna delve into the scientific part of this argument, because the universe can be rearranged into a different manner with different set of composed pieces. universe is dependent on itself in sense that it requires its own composed energy to exist but that energy is not independent as the question poses where the energy came from?
but thats not what they argued, they accepted the fact that universe is composed and yet its fallacy on thier behalf that they agreed upon that an independent necessity cannot be composed of different parts.
the 2nd thing he kept stating that "necessity is morality" and " very idea of necessity is moral one".
if you are trying to say that the concept of necessity came from the idea of morality, if necessity is not a concept in universe, it leads back to the idea of infinite dependency which is not possible, if you say the universe does not know necessity and is an idea birth from our moral value, then universe only knows dependency? thus universe is not independent? its such a vague and stupid statement here and you contradicted yourself and if you meant to say something else, well you provided less information with the statement to begin with. were you trying to show-off or confuse people?
Later on you went saying that universe doesnt function on logic created by human world. WHAT THE WHAT? wait so if it transcends beyond logical boundaries of humans, then there is no boundary at all. you rejected the idea of impossible necessity on first plate, you said that there cannot be a triangle with 2 dots. if you believe thst universe operates on a logical level that incomprehensive to human's definition of logic, that doesnt close all possible doors and thus proves universe is non contingent but opens up many more doors which anyone can say anything. one can argue that, our logic in inherently flawed and thus a triangle with 2 dots exists, one can argue a God Who can create impossible triangle with 2 dots exists, one can argue two gods with coexists that can order against each other. thus you believe in impossibility, but you only believe in it when its well versed with your argument. A) either you dont know what you are talking about or B) you do know and intentionally brought the argument to this place by rejection of 3rd point of view of impossible necessity.
also you said that universe is expanding infinitely, pls bro dont make your own science. leave science alone if you dont know what you are talking about. we dont know if the universe is expanding infinitely but we assume the universe is expanding into infinity or nothingness, and its all speculation. we can say the expansion rate is faster than speed of light just tells that the big bang was a larger explosion. stephen hawkings in his brief history of time told that this universe might stop expanding after certain time and start cooling and then shrinking. he was a great scientist and this just tells that we believe that universe's expansion rate is not infinite but rather limited.
and lol you use science as a referencing ground when even science doesnt knows whats going on behind the scenes. again stephen hawking stated in his book which i mentioned that if one asks me that what was before the big bang, i would say we can never know. and if you really are using science, first go read it before making claims, because a little knowledge of science is misguiding. funfact is, in the qauntam physics, we arent completely out of the idea that if there is consciousness out there. we have observer's effect which says the electron changes its property based on our observation and is thus theorized on universal scale. tho i must insist that its not somthing concrete but just theories and ideas, worth noticing derived from our experiments and how we look the quantum world.
you refer science as if its atheistic play ground when its not. and sceince you referred is strictly based on logical human derivate which you used to prove your argument, i see nothing but weak and non sensical arguments linked together by an illogical man.
and lastly you stated that necessity is not part of science, ahh no. you are wrong. you see all of our equations assume one thing and one single law and that is 'Conservation of energy'
stating ' *energy cannot be created, neither be destroyed and may be transformed from one form to another. the total energy of an isolated system always remains constant* '
this definition is assumed to believe that our calculations are correct which essentially state that energy is basic *independent necessity* which we all our laws depend on. lol you dont even know basic science
yet conversion of energy is based on assumption that there is nothing more basic then and you refer science thinking you are smart but you dont even know law of conservation of energy thought in middle school.

      @joerdim Год назад

Well, you are saying this too, aren't you? Morality is necessary and objective because it's part of go... wait. Better ignore this, right?
I am an atheist and I believe that morality is entirely subjective. It depends on the goal. If my goal is well-being of human kind then there are objective assessments to derive from this goal. Like eating poison or poisoning others is a no no. Some god doesn't solve this problem, it's still about what the individual thinks is right or wrong to do. If you are just obedient and blindly following orders when doing good things then you are not acting moral.
The fact that I don't believe in a god doesn't have too much to do with this. It's just that "arguments" like the contingency argument simply don't work to prove the existence of a god.

    • @andydufresne4444

@@joerdim no, i didn't say that, I am not discussing morality, morality was raised by the atheist, which is funny how atheists always talking about morality trying to make it part of thier ideology when they don't even have the basis for morality. Honest atheists admitted that but most of the fake atheists nowadays try to come with the most absurd justifications to stick to morality such as deriving objective morality from subjective ideas. And this " some " gods is a hilarious thought, especially when there is only one God , you realise that we r Muslims here don't u? As for following orders doesn't make you moral , says who? Who is moral ; the one who act morally or the one who think morally, that is if I am to concede that religion is just following orders which I don't. Also if you think that contingency argument doesn't prove God existence then disprove it or answer Ali's questions instead of just telling us your belief, I can simply say that u don't understand this argument, most atheists don't from what I have seen so far.

    • @joerdim
      @joerdim Год назад

@@andydufresne4444 I know you aren't saying that right now. This is why I am asking. But nice dodge.
I literally just explained to you why this is the basis of ALL morality. The one who is acting based on his morals is acting morally. If you rob a bank because you gain something from it (a nice afterlife) when someone (god) orders you to do it because he thinks it's immoral that money is in the hands of corrupt banks, who is acting moral then? Yes, NOT the one who is just following orders and gains something from it.
The contingency argument TRIES to prove that the universe/cosmos had a CAUSE. Even if we would grant a cause, then there is still absolutely no way to make a transition to some god with this. This is why Ali tries to dishonestly smuggle in the word "being" as it implies a thinking agent. But since it seems that time wasn't a thing "before" the universe a cause is nonsensical anyways. This is why they keep saying that the argument is based on ancient ideas when people derived from the conditions on earth that time and space have always and everywhere been a thing.
Prove that some god exists, then prove that only one god exists and then prove that this one god is your god. You just made it even harder for yourself.
Btw, it doesn't matter at all what some Atheists say as there is not a common doctrine among Atheists. Lots of Atheists are not sceptics and all theists aren't either.

    • @andydufresne4444
      @andydufresne4444 Год назад

@@joerdim there is no basis for morality in an atheist world, so stop pushing your opinion as if it is a fact. And stop making up scenarios and judge religions according to them just to build a case for your crumbling ideas, God doesn't order people to rob banks , however , an atheist who doesn't rob a bank and live a nice life because of some subjective morals is plain stupid , why would I care for the society if there is no God ? And those morals u acting as if u invented them are derived from religion and from God as the ultimate source of morality, you r made a moral being by God ,that's why you are sticking to morality instead of living your " only" life as a chemical dirt doing whatever pleases you.In the real world religious people act morally even if they didn't believe in morality , atheists would act immorally if they didn't believe in morality so which better for the society?
And we can prove that the independent being or thing is God by extra reasoning and proofs, we can know that he has power , knowledge, will from reflecting upon the universe, and by seeing that every thing has purpose then we must do, we call this independent thing God because of the revelations the Prophet had and to disprove God you need to disprove the Prophets, simple. In any case ,call it God or thing ,this destroy the atheistic idea that the universe came from nothing or it is eternal. And you didn't disprove it, you just made a theory of why people came up with this argument convincing yourself that it only works within the realm of religion when it is a logical argument works within the realm of the brain, so disprove it logically instead of hiding behind lame theories.

Ok great… but Ali, you need to let others talk!! You posit your argument and repeat it many times but when they attempt to respond, you interrupt and ignore their questions on your definition that they don’t seem to accept. They have been incredibly patient with you..I wouldn’t have! (even though I agree with you😂! ). In an argument like this, there has to be an agreement on a premise or definition that you can then build on. It’s obvious they don’t agree with the argument of something being made of pieces as proof of dependency… so that’s where you should debate, on what you mean by that and why would something made of pieces be dependent before moving on. They were trying to ask you but you kept repeating yourself, demanding to be heard, and then interrupting them when they had questions.
I respect your attempts and my comment is only constructive criticism… 💕

@@maxstriker9839 You can't have contrarian things and say you believe in them all. Hinduism like all religions from God held the truth, started as monotheistic, but it has deviated from it. They worship idols and revere prophets as deities when the only force in existence that is a deity is God alone. Allah is explicit that this is shirk and even in Hindu scripture it says God has no images. You could say all religions from God were true but that does not mean they remained true.
Rather than think of it like God made religion, think of it like humans always had the truth (what we describe as religion) from ADAM (AS) but mankind deviated from worshipping and God's commandments and Shaitan gradually worked at corrupting them over generations, until they performed customs unacceptable for God for reasons and origins they didn't understand. One faced with the truth they get defensive and say "This is what generations before us have done, are you calling us fools?". It is not their eyes that are blind, but their hearts. They let ego supersede their belief in God, and sincerity in pleasing God, even when God graces us with the truth. No other religion claims their scripture is directly written from the words of God, as Allah did not make the claim for other religions until the last of the messengers sent by God. It's important to note God's message was always with society even if majority had deviated from it. Those who haven't got the message would be tried on Judgement Day to see if they would have accepted the truth. In this way there are lessons for mankind from the societies of the past before the last of messengers. The bodies of the sinners will testify against them in the Day of Recompense for what they used to do, and no one will thrown into the hellfire except they are convinced of their earning.
Even though Prophet Muhammad (SAW) spoke the truth and had many hadiths of advice for Muslims, the Qu'ran is filled with only the revelations and passages of Allah which had more eloquence than any poet can compose in Arabian society. A society with many words to describe a thing, and many poets. The authentic chains of hadith are better documented than many scriptures and recorded history, and the Qu'ran supersedes that in oral tradition as well as written tradition.
Overall I recommend you watch the Stories of the Prophets starting with ADAM (AS). This channel goes a bit more in depth with the lessons rather than just the story which I would recommend if you're interested ruclips.net/video/CTHj0JDey1w/видео.html
