When I was in seventh grader in Louisville, my chorus teacher arranged for us to attend the dress rehearsals held by the Kentucky Opera. Mozart's "Cosi fan tutte" was the first opera my class attended and I remember being spellbound by the tenor's rendition of this most beautiful of all arias. I have been a devotee of bel canto ever since. I treasure this memory and the gift of music that our teacher and the members of KOA bestowed upon us.
