I've had Komplete for years, recently got into Arturia.
I’d actually say starting out with Komplete standard has everything you’d need, orchestral, drums, retro synths and modern synths.
Reaktor library alone is really deep (don’t forget the community made plugins are amazing and free).
Also the versatility of kontakt sampler is really deep and tons of free expansions.
But Arturia sounds incredible probably better lol, but is heavy lifting on CPU.
If I was starting again I’d still start with Komplete then get Arturia. Just becos it’s a complete package.
But can’t go wrong with both.

I was leaning towards Komplete, but found V Collection for $60 (proaudiostar). That made the decision pretty easy!

Appreciate you. Some people don’t get why I released this but glad to see that some folks did.

Very useful video. Do you think Komplete is more for virtual real world instruments like flutes and ethnic percussions and arturia is better for synth based and electronic music? Thanks a lot!

Great video, thanks! What's 'frustrating' is that Arturia's synths are clearly way more user friendly and instantaneous, and the presets are amazing, but you don't get much more for your money, compared to Komplete's loads of expansions (especially if you already have a license). It's a really tough call.
I'm trying to make my workflow more fun AND have more drum hits at my disposal... what do you recommend?

I agree with you 💯. I think NI has waaaaayyyyy more drum options.

Brother, good video, a question, which one will take up more CPU? The analog lab sticks a lot to me. Will native instruments be lighter in terms of cpu requirements?

If I use Kontakt 7, can I use an Arturia Keylab 88 MKII with it?

I believe you can, if you enable the mini controller within the midi settings

Lets say I want to make more or so modern soundtrack music, but it seems that If I get Arturia I will be missing percussion and some pretty amazing mixing tools like Ozone, can someone suggest great alternatives but more on a budget side?
Or should I just go for Kontakt in this case?

Broad question but if you need strings you cannot beat Native Instruments deals. I like Arturia for Pop and Native for Cinematic personally but I am sure there are better priced options. Spitfire has some great free options.
