After 22 years, we decided to celebrate our work with Halifax 57 Rescue Canada, an underwater aviation archeological group. After pausing for a moment, we discovered the groups accomplishments were quite remarkable. The Bomber Command Memorial in London, The Virginia War Memorial in Richmond, RCAF Wings, the RCAF Aviation Museum in Trenton, The Bomber Command Museum in Alberta and much more. This video is a summery of our work. To donate or become a sponsor, contact Karl in Alberta at karlkj@rogers.com or see our two major sites, Halifax 57 Rescue and TimeKeepers Canada.
Beautiful work on the Halifax ❤❤keep up your great work ❤❤
I Hope in flying condition👍
I'm very frustrated that only dedicated enthusiasts are keeping the memory of this aircraft 'alive'. To think trillions of dollars/£s are being pumped into war projects year on year, but no money is available from governments to fund the rebuild of craft that meant so much to the survivors of previous conflicts. It's actually peanuts in comparison to the ridiculous amount they throw at recent conflicts. My heart is with these guys, but my budget isn't.
My uncle lost his life on a Halifax lll, 20 yrs old. 1944. I will never forget his sacrifice. But it seems many who have come along since, have already turned a blind eye.
Thank you for your continued support for the guys who flew these aircraft. It means a lot to us relatives. X
We have a beautiful Halifax at Elvington in the UK. I wish you guys all the best in this project.
Bless you all, what fantastic work and dedication. Thank you guys, from England.
Very, very heartwarming!
Great work in such an important restoration. Well done!
Well done! Just need a Stirling and a Whitly next.
Where can I find George Rosskopf? Does he still work on the project?
Who decided to melt the 2nd Halifax pieces to form ingots? What a waste!!! They could have sold the original historic bits off for a fortune. Collectors world wide would have snapped them up in no time. Poor decision at best. All that history in terms of artifacts now forever lost with no financial gain. DOH!!!
