    What an ‘oarsome’ adventure 😂. Another fantastic video Gareth. Looked so tranquil on the water. Great commentary. Thank you so much for making and sharing.

    Looks like great fun and as usual scenic views. Something about being one with nature and not seeing anyone for hours.

      You certainly need to be happy with being by yourself around here! Thanks as ever George. You back from your trip now?

    What makes me sit in bed watching an old chap in a canoe moving serenely along through beautiful countryside, just the faint sound of water lapping, maybe the odd joint creaking, sun, blue skies and at the end Mrs Y to collect.

      Inertia? Masochism? Glad you did though Brian. All the best.

    Most enjoyable trip on the Titanic, luckily I saw no icebergs and I was pleased that De Caprio and Winslet were missing. I have only done Kyaking once in a river about an hour from home. The river was about half the width of your one. I loved it. Your day out was fantastic, could you camp on one of the islands? Fish for your supper, sounds great. Thank you again, for superb entertainment.

      I’ve thought about doing exactly that, though camping is illegal on the banks of the river…it’s such a different pace to cycling. I really love it. Thanks Richard!

    Lovely peaceful trip, unlike my run from Mora to Ginestar, but super wine tasting at the end. I envy your relaxed patience and wish I could have some. Till the next!

    Nice scenic trip full of information and great photography, as the saying goes a change is as good as a rest, I can't say I really enjoy being on water, don't even like cycling along canal toe paths or even consider going on a cruise, enjoy the rest of your week

      Many thanks Terry. My dad was very into swimming so he got us started very very young. It warrants respect, always, but I utterly love everything river related!

    Lovely and tranquil. I miss the hills, although I doubt whether you do?
    Can you get an e-kayak?

    • @yakoridesagain
      @yakoridesagain  3 месяца назад +1

      You absolutely can! But water tends to be flattish, so it’s even lazier than us on our e-bikes! Kayaking is a great excuse not to go climbing…it’s possible but bloody hard! Thanks!

    Beautiful part of the world! We lived in Lledo (Mattaraňa) for 3 years, i miss the place so much!
    I'm surprised the Ebro isn't utilised as much as it should, was it used for other things years ago?

      Very much so; the Iberians used it as a commerce highway for their ceramics, and everyone else since too, right up until trains took over. Romans floated trees downriver for ship-making, later coal from Mequinenza…now it’s kayak hire in August and a very few fishing boats. A pity!
