  • Create animated lower thirds within Resolume.
Text blocks and other sources are available as effects which means they can be layered in a single clip.

Using Resolume for corporate events is great and often calls for lower thirds and titles which can be easily updated on the fly.
Creating multiple layers of text can get messy and difficult to keep track of.
In this video, I will go over how to create lower thirds neatly in a single clip and also the ability to stack multiple text blocks.

Thanks for the tips on stacking the text in a single block. That hasn't occurred to me and I was doing it the hard way! Quick tip on the garbled text, if Resolume starts doing that close the program and clear the cache. Navigate to YourUser/Library/Application Support/Resolume Arena 6/atlas and delete the contents. Restart and problem fixed. Stupid workaround but hey it works.

Thanks for the font fix Jared,
It was a pretty big 'ah huh' moment when I realised too. I used to waste so many layers and over complicate things. Hope this makes things a little easier for you :)

This is great! ... I've always created simple animates in PS or AE and converted pre-show (or between sets) while on site or touring. Nice.
