I've had an interest in this kind of work for a little while, and came across your channel. I watched all of your videos so far in one night, and I know I need to do this. Would you possibly be able to talk about all the business-related things you needed to do to become a owner/operator with a van? CDL, insurance, etc? I love the content though. Hope things keep going well for you.
Rookie mistake. The 1st thing you need to do is calculate your expenses. You should know your truck inside and out so to figure out how much fuel you’re going to burn on the trip is not difficult if you know how many miles you are traveling. Basically this was a 1000 mile trip to make $300
What’s up bro I like your content!! Fr I’m out here just like you but I have a question you live in ATL why would you not deadhead back to Atlanta where there’s more loads leaving and see your people then sit in Albany for a day
@velociouslogistics thanks alot bro.. there's alot of loads coming out of ATL, but it's so much competition in ATL.. The dispatcher recommended sitting in Albany to see if we could get something near by.
Just out of curiosity. When taking on heavy loads/multiple pallets are you factoring in wear and tear on vehicle when doing your rate? I just started out Tuesday and want to factor in all applicable expenses to give my best and fair rate. All while providing a good service and profitable for myself. Keep the vids coming and wheels rolling bro.😎
Whatsup brother, I was wondering is their any compliance requirements u need to meet in order to do this business? Do you need dot# and specific insurance? Drug test? Etc etc
@anrkyking720 the sign on process with them is pretty simple like @michael95512 stated.. www.S1tl.com is their website, they had a Driver page and at the bottom is how to apply.
Wow I been to a few Prisons down there 😂Never been back and never will again That state has some country ass towns and nothing to offer people only survival is a Correction job or a Dam Factory
Are you running under their authority or your authority? Either way 1.03 cents is way too low. 500 bucks is not enough profit. Leave these runs for the immigrants.

@samuelcole7228 yeah it was definitely a rookie mistake.. you live and you learn man.. I'm still learning the game.
Hey boss why don’t ya hang your bed from the ceiling? Then it’s out of the way of loads and you can have a comfortable bed.
@@Mr.mode24 I actually plan to build a bed that folds out from the side behind my driver seat.. gonna need that when winter gets here..

@itzreece6347 2 months ago, the answer is no.. but as I learn and get more experience all of those factors definitely come into play.
