Everything is so subtle. The focus on mono/center for the simpler focus of the song and light dabblings of stereo. The modulations and substitutions are impeccable of course. But what really tickles me to death is the quarter-tone shift up for that last chorus. It takes a great focused song and gives it that little push over the edge into sensational. Done so well that you can't place it at first why it is so sonically 'heightened' ... but it's literal! Keep on keepin on

I'm coming to the end of the semester and I'm so so stressed most of the time. Then, I found Jacob Collier's music. His music helps me calm down a lot. Thank you so much for your music, Jacob. It really helped me go through this quarantined semester better✨

As a DJ and producer, I would love to remix this, but I cant do it, you cant mess with perfection, damn, everytime I hear this song I just like it more, what a happy day it was, the day I found one of the early jacob videos a few years ago, glad to see him becoming one of the greats.

Don't be.. Jacob wouldn't be what he is today if he didn't have the musicians that came before him and the one's around that are inspiring him now. He may well be better than most but if he didn't have them where would the catalyst for his ideas and inspiration come from? You continue on...you may even catch his ear and inspire him too one day ;)

I haven’t had my stomach flip from hearing a musical movement as I have listening to Mr Collier, since the early/ mid 70’s listening for the first time to Kieth Emerson’s Hammond playing on the beginning of the Tarkus album. It’s like Vertigo when I listen to the harmonic movement on Moon River. Jacob you are a true blessing !
