I’m nearly 79, and that’s all we had when I was a little girl, kneeling at a rail, and receiving holy communion on our tongues, wearing veils etc.. I left the church when I was a teenager for about ten years and then came back, and what a shock how it had changed. Women wearing spaghetti strap tops, shorts, no veils etc I thought I entered the twilight zone. The change from the Latin to the NO happened in those ten years. At my Church in Scotland, many ladies wear Mantillas, most attendees have Holy Communion kneeling at the alter and receive in the mouth. I personally feel the priest is the only one who should handle the Eucharist.
"I personally feel the priest is the only one who should handle the Eucharist." I said that to a person at church. I did not know she was one of the Eucharistic Ministers. When I realized what she was, I apologized to her. She said no offense was taken. I think I did hurt her feelings. I still go to the Priest to receive communion, on the tongue.

I try to only go to the priest. I was nervous about receiving on the tongue after so many years but now it's so normal and it feels so much more reverent.

Dear Patsy, you were and are absolutely correct. Your reaction was perfect. We must also pray for such priests because they so not realise what offence they are causing Our Lord, but also scandal to the faithful. I wish there were more like you. Now please don't feel offended, as no offence is meant, but l have to say the following... The english language is a beautiful language, spoken by the whole world, and it deserves respect. By using internet shorthand you do not show it deserved respect. In fact you do it damage because you're promoting such a writing style to others. Imagine if most people wrote that way, the english language would be completely corrupt. No other language in the world is treated in such a disrespectful way. It is also a lazy way of writing, and laziness is not something which pleases God. Lastly, it does make it more difficult to read for those who aren't used to it. Those like me. God bless you.
When I was growing up in Ethiopia the only way I know to receive our Lord Jesus Christ was only by tongue. Here in America when I saw everyone doing it, I started doing it too. But now as I becoming more into my faith, I prefer tongue.
Thank you, dearest young man for sharing the gift that you were blessed with to. Day I cannot tell you as a 73-year-old woman so incredibly grateful to hear. A young person realized the beauty and reverence of receiving our Lord Jesus. The way it is supposed to be done. Thank you for sharing this. And I pray so many more young. People will hear your gift from the Holy Spirit to share this Beautiful. Revelation, may God continue to bless you, sir, and thank you for spreading this beautiful word.❤❤❤❤
At the beginning of the covid pandemic, I was led by the Holy Spirit to stop receiving Jesus in the hand and to kneel and receive Him on the tongue and only to receive Him from the consecrated hands of a priest. If I cannot receive Him in this way, I ask for spiritual communion. I feel so passionately about this way of receiving Jesus that I feel it is now ingrained in my being. There is just no going back to receiving My Lord how I used too. Even when I receive Him in spiritual communion, I am often moved to tears. So, for me, there is no denying in my heart, soul and mind that Jesus is TRULY present in the Most Blessed Sacrament of the Altar and He deserves all the glory, honor and utmost respect.❤
Three weeks ago, I resumed receiving the holy Eucharist on my tongue, as I did at my first Holy Communion as a young girl in 1972. Couldn’t be happier. Never more shall I receive in my hand.
@@454Casul I grew up on the 60s too, and agree that everyone received Communion on the tongue then UNTIL the late 70s came the grace of holding Our Savior in our hands and receiving Him as they did in the Early Church. People who think it’s more traditional to receive on the tongue need to study Church history.
I used to be embarrassed to receive kneeling and on the tongue. I thought people would judge me and I am sure do. I even asked God to help me because I did not want to be noticed. It was all about me. Then I heard Fulton Sheen say "He who expects to preserve his faith without being mocked by the world is either weak in it or else not so bold in goodness as to draw upon himself the mocking insults of another purple robe and a torturing circle of thorns" and God gave me the grace not to care anymore what other may think. I am only there to give glory to Jesus.
wow, you are so amazing. In my church, people stand and receive by hand. I receive with mouth but I can not kneel. I wish I could kneel like you. I am so scared people will watch me and judge me.
@maitran-kj4qu I got the example from other parishioners who always kneeled. It took me a while to start and get the courage. I was afraid I would not be able to stand or drop the Eucharist. May the Lord help you as well.
Me too!! It really started when I started wearing a veil, now it's receiving our Lord on my tongue, super awkward when the Eucharistic ministers toss him your mouth. But after this video and your comment reminding me, Who I do this for, I will be kneeling now also.
I stopped consuming Jesus on the hand and being an Eucharistic Minister bc I just didn't feel reverent to do so, but more importantly, my hands are not consecrated, and in the hand parts of Jesus fall to the floor. Nope, not me, I love Jesus too much! ❤
@@RosemaryChandler-i9w Where do you put the Host after you received in your hand? Don't you have a tongue in your mouth? I've heard this before, and it's so pointless.
That's why we have PRIESTS whose hands are CONSECRATED to distribute the BODY and BLOOD of JESUS CHRIST. There should be a paten used to catch the particle that may drop ( still Body and Blood of Jesus)
❤❤❤ Lovely 🙏 My husband and I grew up in the New Mass and we have been attending the Latin Mass since Easter 2020 boy did it change our lives forever. We are now raising our six children in the Old Latin Mass Rite.
I try to look for a silver lining in every "problem" or bad event that happens. That was one of the good things that came from covid. Traditional parishes refused to shut down because we realize we need our Lord in horrible situations. We don't hide from problems due to fear. We trust God always and exercise common sense. (Obviously, if you were sick, you stayed home. ) As a result, many people came to the TLM for the 1st time and never left! The beauty, music, atmosphere and reverence captures you every time. Benedicat tibi Deus et gratias Deo pro vera Missa. 🙏💒
Yup! "Covid convert" here too! Prayed and prayed to find a Mass that was open here in Commifornia and the Holy Spirit lead me to the TLM. It would be nice if there was a TLM closer to home😢

@@suzannemcmaken4648 The mystery of Christ. You are thinking with a human mind... sometimes you will have to think deeper, with a spiritual heart and mind... You do not sound like a member of the Catholic Faith. If not, why are you here??
We were taught to kneel, receive on tounge and then do not chew. we stuck to roof of mouth and pealed it off with our tounge to swallow it. That was a Catholic school.
So appreciate everything you shared. As a young girl I had the privilege of attending Traditional Mass. Than, quite unexpectedly, the altar rail was removed, statues were removed, and the priest started giving general absolution during Mass, and no more singing from the choir loft. It felt so strange, but where were we to go? It gives me joy to know that there is a revival in Traditional Mass attendance. Have you talked about how to dress appropriately for Mass. It would be nice if Sunday dress attire came back too.
I remember the altar rail from my childhood in the '70s. I miss it! I was also baptized with the traditional Latin rite and I appreciate how close it's brought me to God, I never strayed away from Him. I believe we should go back to taking the Eucharist on the tongue. At my first communion around 1969 or '70, I do recall kneeling at the altar and taking the Holy Eucharist on the tongue.
When I visited a church in lake geneva wisconsin two yrs ago after covid passed i was refused communion on the tongue by Eucharist minister. My daughter decided to go to a Byzantine liturgy and is bringing her children up in that faith. Byzantine church never allows receiving in the hand
My parents brought us to the Catholic Byzantine Rite when they couldn’t find a reverent Mass. They mix the consecrated Host with the Blood of Christ right in the Chalice, and drop Holy Communion into your mouth from a little golden spoon. ❤ One of our daughters was Baptized in the Byzantine Rite and they gave her Confirmation at the same ceremony, as they usually do. Now we go to the Tridentine Mass with the SSPX.
❤St Ignatius Maronite parish receives the Holy Eucharist on the tongue. In the Eastern Rites every Holy Mass / Divine Liturgy is a High Mass. Thanks be to God. All glory to His Holy Name!
the whole world is hungry and thirsty for God, and few go to the Holy Eucharist. I hope that what happened at the o.j. 2024 has been a wake-up call for many.
I pray and hope the kneelers come back, that the Priest will face The Tabernacle and that we ladies reverently wear veils and receive Jesus kneeling down. AMEN AMEN AMEN
I wear a veil and I’m happy to say many women have returned to the Mass wearing veils after Covid, but sadly not able to kneel. I pray our priests return to saying Mass Ad orienten soon! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

@@mariadias3231 Little by little, those things are making a comeback. They’ve been in place at my current parish longer than I’ve been there. They were restored at another parish in my diocese a few years ago.
@@MaryLouCoursen I do respect your opinion. The one main difference is that in the former when the Priest would face the Tabernacle and look at the Crucifix, he was looking at the Holy of Holies and draw his strength and guidance.
It’s a grace that you had this awareness today. Praise God! If we all received on the tongue we wouldn’t have to be as afraid of people mistreating the sacred host, stealing them for satanic use etc. This is our Lord and Savior! To receive on the tongue humbles us and is the more reverenced way to consume Jesus. Thank you, beautiful.
And the Good Lord will punish them for stealing it. Pray for those people so they will not face the punishments do to that, it will not go well for them.
You said that the amount of reverence of receiving the Holy Eucharist on the tongue and receiving on the hand is an ocean to you. So very true. I've never really thought of it like that before, but it's so very true. And rightly said. God bless.
I attend NO Mass. Many kneel and receive on the tongue. I don’t kneel as I wouldn’t be able to get up lol, but rec on the tongue. I wear a veil. Weekday Mass, up to about 15 veiling. Weekend less-but growing!! Have 3 great reverent Priests! Adoration 24/7 from Tue 8am thru Fri 8 am!!!
See, that was the beauty of the old arrangement where there was a railing with kneeling platform in front of the altar space. I am 75 years old and it would be disturbingly difficult to kneel on the floor and struggle to stand up. Well. It is gone and we are left with unpractical and unholy way to "collect" the Host. Same thing is the pulpit. Our ancesstors priests stood above the crowd while preaching. At the same time they had full view of everybody in the church. The crowd had to jeep their heads tild up and thus pay attention. Now the pulpits are not used , the church must wast money on microphones and its maintenance , people often cannot hear properly thus drifting away in their thought if not playing with their hand phones. Who was that "clever" fool introducing these novelties? Why the proven heritage was seen as bad? I do miss the good old days.
I hadn't been to church in a while. I went to confession and resumed my quest to get my faith back. When I got to front of line for holy Communion there was a woman there putting the host in the hands. I was horrified. I went to Catholic School and was taught only priests were consecrated bto touch the sacred host. I said I can't do this and I went over to the next line that had a priest and took host by mouth. I now get in line with priest but I still cringe when I watch most people taking it in the hand
A few years ago, I fumbled the Host out of my hand and it fell to the floor. In a loud voice, I yelled "Oh no!" The Eucharistic Minister jumped back and in a panic we both had the deer in the headlights look. The guy behind me leans over my shoulder and says "Just throw that one away." In another loud voice I go "You cant do that, whats the matter with you?" By now everybody is staring at the three of us. I knelt down picked it up and consumed it. On another note, we have a new young Priest assigned to our parish. He uses a very ornated chalice veil. After communion, he will take all the patens, use the purificator to wipe them into the chalice. Consumes the remaining Precious blood, rinses the patens with Holy water, rinses the chalice with Holy water. Then consumes that. Then gives everything a final wipe with the purificator. He only allows the deacon to go to the Tabernacle for the ciborium. Very moving indeed.
He was wrong.,,The guy that shouted at you. You pick up the Eucharist..hopefully with a Kleenex. If you don't have one..with your hand..and immediately after Mass..you bring git to th ePriest in the PRIEST. They have a special depository for the Eucharist that has been dropped..or abused. That is what you do...and I have done it..a few times.
I would have (now too old and sick to do this) immediately knelt down and would have picked it up with my mouth. I know what is "proper". But what's a little dirt compared to receiving my Beloved Lord, King and Savior.🧡🙏🏼✝️
As a young girl from Nigeria, who decorated the altar and washes the altar linens, we were instructed to throw the water in a hole dug specially for washed sacred linens in case there were particles poured on them during Mass. This was a very big leap to my devotion and reverence of the Holy Eucharist.
Our priest has recently introduced Extraordinary ministers on each side of the front of the church standing with a chalice of Precious Blood for people to choose, or not, to take a sip after receiving the Precious Body. One day, a woman I know to be reverent was a newly trained minister holding the chalice. She had a recipient spill a few drops when taking the chalice. She said later that she stood feet apart over the drops so that no one would step on them. I was the last person in the line, and so was near to see her immediately begin to wipe up the drops. I was so bewildered about what to do, I knelt down and kissed the floor near the drops. She said after Mass that the cloth used would be rinsed in the special sink that goes into the ground for burial. Most traditional Catholics I know do not approve of the use of the chalice at Communion, for this reason. Another time, I was at a Mass of Catholic Burial where the priest refused me reception on the tongue. I quietly stood my ground, and we had a whispered exchange, and he had to give it to me on the tongue. Only a few people noticed the exchange. But I knew it was my right and privilege. Remember that it is -- when you are refused.
I made my first holy communion in 1961. I found when Novus Ordo mass came in, I found I got less reverent. Then one day it hit me that the crumbs are in my hand. I started to lick the palm of my hands realizing I had crumbs from the Holy Eucharist. Then, I saw the extraordinary Eucharist minister spill the consecrated hosts on the alter. As she simply scooped them up, it hit me that there are crumbs all over the alter. This was in mid 2000s. When the virus hit and all the churches closing, I found a Catholic Church holding mass outside. There was so much reverence there I am thinking it was because communion was on the tongue, with alter boys holding a paten and we kneeled on portable kneelers. This was the Latin mass I grew up with. I was in tears. To this day, I attend mass there, including today, The Assumption of The Blessed Virgin Mary. Praise be Jesus Christ Our Lord. 🙏❤️
You could be talking about pur parish. We found it under almost identical circumstances. My wife was in search of something reverent and proper, and I was just falling away from the flippant display and circus in the N.O. The wuflu found us in parking lot masses and my first confession in years and years. Since then it has been a beautiful path. I've grown more in faith in the last 4 years than the previous 40.
It's so important for Catholics to try and go to the traditional masses if they can!! Our parish has grown so much since covid we never closed and they had no other options but to go to the trad mass....this is the mass of all ages!! I will never go back to novus Ordo
This was a beautiful way to spend some time this morning. God Bless you for sharing this and encouraging all to receive the most HOLY COMMUNION on the tongue. May this video go viral and touch many hearts and I pray please our Holy Trinity. Amen.
What a delightful video. If the Eucharist was treated this way in all churches, we wouldn't be suffering from such unbelief among Catholics. The Eucharist is so special. Do away with Eucharistic ministers. The Priest is the only person to touch the host.
I couldn’t agree more!! Bring back the True Mass, put back the Communion Rails, Only Priests have Consecrated Hands, get rid of Communion in the hand and bring back Communion on the tongue!! I will only receive Communion from a Priest on the tongue!!! We need to bring back the Traditions we once had. Mary conceived without sin, Pray for us who have recourse to thee… 🙏🏽✝️📿♥️🕊
What a Beautiful Person You are!! May Our Dear Lord Bless You and Your Family and May Our Most Beautiful Blessed Mother Mary Protect You! Thank you for your most beautiful message today on The Assumption of Our Lady!!
A number of years ago I was visiting some in-laws in Fresno, CA, and on Sunday my family and I went to a Catholic parish near their home for Mass. At Communion time we went forward to receive Communion and as I was accustomed to do in my Parish I approached the priest, folded my hands, tilted my head back and opened my mouth to receive the Host. The young priest said to me very loudly "put out your hand". Being confused by this order, I stayed in the same position to receive the Host. Then, the priest, more loudly, almost shouting in my face, said "I SAID TO PUT OUT YOUR HAND"! To avoid any more of a scene while simply just trying to receive Communion, I put out my hand and he put It in my hand rather strongly. I've never been treated so disrespectfully while receiving Holy Communion before. Very bad feeling!
It happened to me at the little church in my home town in England - I was visiting after some 25 years, and he refused to place the host on my tongue. It was actually the church where I had my first Holy Communion, all those years ago, and the church where we were first encouraged to choose the ‘in the hand’ option.
The priests who forced this on you were wrong. It is more reverent to receive on your knees and only on the tongue unless we cannot kneel and then standing is acceptable after bowing. We are receiving our Lord's Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity so this must be done in the most reverent way possible. We tend to take this for granted especially during the Novus Ordo Mass. Please, let us always approach our Lord with the most reverence that we can possibly give. May God bless us all to show Him the love He deserves.
@ricparks... That priest was not just wrong in denying you our Lord on the tongue but by shouting and putting our Lord on your hand "strongly" he basically demonstrated he does not believe it is the Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of our Lord that he is giving to the faithful. No wonder an increasing number of Catholics think that the Holy Eucharist is just a symbol. With priests like him, there will be many more non-believing Catholics.
Fake priest. I won't go to what these people call "communion" - often, it's old lady dressed in street clothes loppingʻ off hosts into hands. I leave ... questioning if that was even a valid "mass".

Thank you! I just happened on to your site. I have been receiving on my tongue for a number of years and kneel to receive the blessed sacrament. I just felt called to do so, as well as cover my head. It is so wonderful to see young Catholics who attend the local college to embrace this same tradition.
Thank you! It's refreshing someone young thinks it is better and more reverent to receive our dear Lord on the tongue. Thank you so much! Your channel was in my feed and am glad i didn’t skip it. Thank you for sharing your experience and thoughts when receiving the Holy Eucharist on the tongue while kneeling. Excellent video, brother. Be blessed always.
Wow! So many things that I haven't thought about in such a long time! Growing up we always received communion on our tongue! I have been taking it so long in my hands, it does seem strange to see people receive it by tongue, but it also makes me remember when I did too and now you have sparked in me to want to go back to the way it is suppose to be. I will talk to my priest soon. I think I want to go back to how I used to receive communion!
Receiving on the tongue really is best. Getting to be at daily Mass and Jesus giving HIMSELF to us, and that is really is OUR LORD AND SAVIOR, gives us what we need to get through this life, especially in difficult times which are more frequent now. God bless and I pray your faith grows stronger every day.
People who receive kneeling and on their tongue, is good. Those who are reverently receiving Him in the hand is also good. What is in your heart, is essential. At the last supper, our Lord blessed the bread and wine. Then the loaves were shared and the cup passed. Amen.
I used to think the same way - unfortunately when you read even the Vatican 2 documents todays NO is nothing close to it. Gregorian Chant is the only form of music for mass, but today we have jingles from the 70's, communion on the hands is still only for special purposes and rare, Eucharistic ministers per canon code are to be used as a last resort but here we are rolling 6 deep every mass just because people can't wait another 10-15 min to kneel in silent prayer. None of this today is inspired from God, it leads people to be lax caths and eventually just leave or become protestant or evangelical. No wonder 60% of Catholics don't believe in the real presence of Christ.
❤❤❤thank you for doing this and letting others know the distinction between hand and tongue receiving. I grew up receiving in the tongue and it is my belief it to be so reverent . Receiving in the hand for me that my hand is not clean enough even if it is washed and cleaned thoroughly it is God himself I am receiving. Thank you for this. God bless you
Hi Jordan great podcast as usual important topic for sure... as I'm listening I'm now understanding why when Communion is over before the priest returns to the altar he collects the patent in a specific way and carefully returns to the altar whereupon he carefully removes all particles of the Sacred Host into the Chalice which he will consume with a bit of water and any last drop Blood of Christ! The Holy priests have learned to be very meticulous in how they care for the Body and Blood of Christ!
Thank you for this video. I very much enjoyed listening to your experience and thoughts. I came back to church last year and took the host on my hand as that is what I was taught when I made my first holy communion, but as months went by something was not sitting right within my heart and I new I wanted to take the host on the tongue. It took courage, but I did it! Then I realised I wanted to kneel, but I have not had the courage to do so yet! No one in my parish does, except for one girl I saw once do it, but I think she must have been visiting. I have started genuflecting before receiving now though. ‘Lord give me the grace and strength to do what I feel is right with in my heart!’
I attend an amazing Novus Ordo parish, the Priest is soooo reverent during the Consecration. I'd say half of the attendees receive on the tongue, and the Priest stands behind a kneeler. Many kneel, and more all the time. I wear a vail and there are at least 6 or 7 other ladies at every Mass that also vail. Our Priest teaches the children (we have a Catholic School) to receive on the tongue when they are receiving their First Holy Communion. He tells them they may change to the hand if they want to after a few months, most don't! Such a wonderful Priest!!! Thanks for the vid, very nice.
Thank God I was educated in a Catholic School in the 69's thus being taught CORRECTLY on every level about the rites of receiving communion etc. We were taught that receiving communion on the hand was a SACRALIDGE!
Happy celebration of the Dormition of the all saint mother of God. Orthodox here. What intrigues me concerning the western rite is rather the fact that after the priest says " This is my blood of the covenant for the remission of the sins for many, take and drink of it ALL OF YOU " he proceeds to not offer it to the faithfull. Since Vatican 2 it's sometimes offered, on rare occasions thought but between the council of Trent and Vatican 2 it was strictly reserved to the clergy and nobilities. Which is very far from the orthodox practice in which both the bread and wine are given during each occasion. Kyrie eleison ☦️
Today I came across this video of yours and I want to thank for speaking about this amazing experience, I too have experienced this amazing and unexplainable feeling. My husband is a lector, my son is an altar boy and I served as an altar girl when is needed, for a while now my family and I received the Body and Blood of our lord on our tongue and on our knees because if we don’t kneel to the king 👑 of kings then to whom, it breaks my heart the lack of respect many people show in mass and I pray that our lord touches their hearts and open their spiritual eyes so that they too can have an experience and show him respect, honor, obedience, humility, and love ❤️. Great video please keep up the good work, God bless you and your family.
I am blessed to have a parish where the ushers bring out two kneelers for parishioners to kneel to receive on the tongue. Communion at daily mass gets tricky for me because I struggle to get up off the floor after kneeling. I fell recently and put some serious road rash on my knees which had me thinking I would not be able to kneel on the ground for adoration. Then I remembered how bloodied & sore Jesus' knees would have been after falling 3x with the cross. When necessary I bow over and tilt my head back to receive on the tongue if Im not strong enough to get up from the floor. Thank you for this video.

Great talk. I wish more would talk about the receiving the Eucharist and not chewing it. It seems like they are eating chips or chewing gum as I have seen some do. I agree with you . God Bless He sees All..❤
Dear Patsy, you were and are absolutely correct.
Thank you so much for talking about this. I truly pray that more Catholics will start to come back to tradition.
Three weeks ago, I resumed receiving the holy Eucharist on my tongue, as I did at my first Holy Communion as a young girl in 1972. Couldn’t be happier. Never more shall I receive in my hand.
Growing up in the 60's, everyone took communion on the tongue.
I'm sure there were still some churches that had still not received the memo, so to speak, to go all happy-clappy! 🤡
Love Bishop Folden Jay Sheen. Are used to watch it with my mother back in the 50s and 60s and now I can watch it on RUclips.💕
This is good to read. I prefer to receive Jesus on my tongue as I kneel, but am afraid of attention being drawn to myself. Thank you for writing.
wow, you are so amazing.
I pray that more reverence is brought back to the Holy Sacrafice of the Mass. This is Jesus, Body,Blood, Soul And Divinity.
No. The wafer is simply flour and water.
It is consecrated and it's Jesus body and blood. There's videos that even show the miracle. @@suzannemcmaken4648
I stopped consuming Jesus on the hand and being an Eucharistic Minister bc I just didn't feel reverent to do so, but more importantly, my hands are not consecrated, and in the hand parts of Jesus fall to the floor. Nope, not me, I love Jesus too much! ❤
Thank You for realizing that about Eucharistic ministries! I also started receiving on the tongue and only from a priest!
Me, on the tongue only.
I have sinned far more with my tongue than with my hands. I rest my case.
@@RosemaryChandler-i9w
Where do you put the Host after you received in your hand? Don't you have a tongue in your mouth? I've heard this before, and it's so pointless.
That's why we have PRIESTS whose hands are CONSECRATED to distribute the BODY and BLOOD of JESUS CHRIST. There should be a paten used to catch the particle that may drop ( still Body and Blood of Jesus)
❤❤❤ Lovely 🙏 My husband and I grew up in the New Mass and we have been attending the Latin Mass since Easter 2020 boy did it change our lives forever. We are now raising our six children in the Old Latin Mass Rite.
You could not do your children a greater service. God bless you for teaching your family proper reverence to the Holy Sacrifice. Ave Maria!
Your words made me cry with joy
Thank you for your reflection and thoughts. Happy Feast day of the Assumption of Our Lady.
Well said. I wish more people felt as you do. May God bless you and keep you safe.
My God, we love you in the Holy Eucharist!
I receive Jesus on my tongue and I thank God, I have never been refused.
Thank you for your beautiful words... God bless you in abundance.

Is “Jesus” conscious on your tongue and aware “He” will be dissolved in your stomach soon??
I've only received on my tongue and I am 70 years old. Never once in my hand.
That is so awesome!
Wonderful! God bless you
Yes! Thank you for articulating all of these beautiful truths. We need to receive Our Lord with utmost reverance and love. God bless you!
And on our knees too at the altar
@@LuciusLady-to8zo oh I miss the communion rail and getting down on our knees to receive Our Lord in quiet reverence.
I love that your church has Eucharistic Guardians. ❤
the whole world is hungry and thirsty for God, and few go to the Holy Eucharist.
@@rosemoreno6249 I too am praying for the same. God will surely work on this. For He said that when two or three pray for the same intention, He surely takes it.
There is more reverence when we kneel and receive Holy Communion. God know it all. We must pray that everyone's eyes and hearts may open to humbly adhere to this. AMEN AMEN AMEN always.
@@mariadias3231 Little by little, those things are making a comeback. They’ve been in place at my current parish longer than I’ve been there. They were restored at another parish in my diocese a few years ago.
As far as the new Mass goes the one thing I love is that the Priest faces the Congregation I love watching. The rest not so much
@@MaryLouCoursen I do respect your opinion.
God bless.
Thank you my dear brother God bless you richly

I attend NO Mass. Many kneel and receive on the tongue. I don’t kneel as I wouldn’t be able to get up lol, but rec on the tongue. I wear a veil. Weekday Mass, up to about 15 veiling. Weekend less-but growing!! Have 3 great reverent Priests! Adoration 24/7 from Tue 8am thru Fri 8 am!!!
Ask your priests to put a kneeler down front.
Same at my church, it makes for so much more respect around the Holy Eucharist.
O God let all the Nations Praise You🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏❤️
A few years ago, I fumbled the Host out of my hand and it fell to the floor.
At our Parish only the Priest touches the Eucharist even if dropped..our Priest is always the One who cleans the area immediately

Good for you! Stand your ground. ❤🙏🏼✝️
God bless you.Lets pray that the old comes back.
"Altar"...not as in, (alter) a dress/pant.

@ricparks...
Unexceptable!!!,that Priest will have to tell Jesus Why he denied parishioners the desire to Adore Me(Jesus) never stop, adoring Jesus that way❤

Thank you Jordan! I attend same church you do. Appreciate all you put out there. God bless you
Thank you for sharing this important point about the holy Eucharist.
Excellent, young man. You get it. When you kneel remember you are kneeling because you are in front of the King, who gave His life for you.
We are worshipping
Thank you young man for zharing that beautiful experience.
People who receive kneeling and on their tongue, is good. Those who are reverently receiving Him in the hand is also good. What is in your heart, is essential. At the last supper, our Lord blessed the bread and wine. Then the loaves were shared and the cup passed. Amen.
Carelessly handling and trampling on Christ is not reverent.
"And when they were filled, he said to his disciples: Gather up the fragments that remain, lest they be lost." [John 6:12]
It is highly irreverence to receive the holy Eucharist in the hand.
Good points. God bless you.
May God bless you, and our mother keep you.
So happy to hear you!!! We have the Greatest Gift ever!!! ❤🙏❤️
I have been teaching my religious education students to receive on the tongue

I came back to church last year and took the host on my hand as that is what I was taught when I made my first holy communion, but as months went by something was not sitting right within my heart and I new I wanted to take the host on the tongue.
It took courage, but I did it! Then I realised I wanted to kneel, but I have not had the courage to do so yet! No one in my parish does, except for one girl I saw once do it, but I think she must have been visiting. I have started genuflecting before receiving now though.
‘Lord give me the grace and strength to do what I feel is right with in my heart!’
Do it!! The Holy Spirit (or Mary) is promoting you. Courage my friend. 🧡 🙏🏼✝️
Thanks for giving me the inspiration to receive holy communion again on the thoung instead of the hand God bless you ❤
I attend an amazing Novus Ordo parish, the Priest is soooo reverent during the Consecration.

Hope the pope makes an order of receiving the Holy Eucharist on the tongue
This needs to go back on the leadership of the church, bishops and priests, they have the authority to stop in the hands
I have EM coming to my home due to health issues and know it is hard to know if they feel comfortable doing on the tongue. I am going to ask from now on thank you so much for sharing. Please 🙏 for me 🙏🙏I will pray for you 🙏
Thank you lord for this day I am so grateful for you to talk about communion on tang and kneeling God bless you please keep talking about Respecting our king Jesus Christ I trust in you 👍👍💒💒💒💒🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾✝️✝️✝️✝️❤️❤️❤️❤️🇪🇷🇪🇷🇪🇷🇪🇷🇪🇷🇪🇷🇪🇷🇪🇷👼👼👼👼👼🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️
Thank you for your video. I am a 73 year old cradle Catholic. I yearn to receive Communion kneeling at the front rails of the church with altar servers holding the patent. I loved that at least at some Novo Order masses, the priests at least use altar servers to hold the patent when they hand out Communion. It would be amazing to bring back more reverence to our Catholic masses. ❤
God bless Archbishop Lebreve and the SSPX ✝️🕯️✝️
With tears of gladness I thank God for your testimony on this topic. I’ve wrestled with this since just before Pope Francis came on the scene. This has been close to heart and your encouragement was needed and appreciated. I will continue and suffer exactly the doubts you mentioned with greater resolve. God Bless your service to our Lord. Peace
Great talk. I wish more would talk about the receiving the Eucharist and not chewing it. It seems like they are eating chips or chewing gum as I have seen some do. And it should be more Priests and Bishops teaching this. And a good video to watch is by Gabi After Hours, I think it is about 2 years old, and explains why not to receive in the hand.
God bless you too brother
