    Good job I say never add flaps until you know you have made the runway on engine out

      Agreed, especially Flaps 40. That last 10 degrees is nothing but drag.

    Good video, thanks for sharing your practice. I like to say "Power off 180" instead of "simulated engine failure" for a few reasons: 1) it's a well-known ACS maneuver that helps people visualize exactly what you are going to do 2) if people just hear "engine failure" and miss the simulated part, they tend to get excited 3) it's quicker to say (5 syllables vs 8) 🙂

      My very little, no frills flying golf cart is fixed pitch 😅. Not very fancy, but it's cheap! I'm happy to hear you've enjoyed the video.
