Haha, Back around 1980-1981 I would commute to parts of NJ/PA from NYC, on Amtrak. The Amtrak train had NJDOT or SEPTA equipment with a mix of Amtrak or Conrail Crews.
so amtrak has leased some of their Amfleets...? does this mean that they may be starting to sell them soon? Are the looking into new coach cars to replace Amfleet I's now?
It is interesting how the SEPTA conductors did not even bother to reverse the seats in the direction of the train for the NJT Comet cars. If that happened in New Jersey, passengers would just be complaining of terrible service! Also, I have never seen an NJT locomotive move with the doors open.

None of the seats on SEPTA rolling stock are reversible, so it's nothing new to riders.
