Looks a lot busier and more traffic back in 2005? Has population went down or you just haven’t filmed recently during rush area? Would be cool to film exactly in the same spot today.
Sadly, many towns in south wales have lost businesses, local industry and employment over the years resulting in many people moving away for better opportunities to make a living. Some towns are a shadow of they once were and are sad to see. I grew up in south wales and my local town is often referred to as a ghost town as businesses failed and employment nose dived. I also moved away for a better life but miss the amazing views and friendly people, can’t say I miss the rain tho..
@@lovinglife6526 sounds like West Virginia here in the US, where many Welsh Coal miners settled generations ago. Towns are now ghost towns, one ole guy on the news sum it up perfectly "Instead of coal our biggest export now is our young people"
Looks a really vibrant place I would guess this was filmed on a Saturday. Great to see nobody was walking about with a phone stuck to their ear, sadly not the case now.
How refreshing, to not see people fixed on their mobile phones 😁 as we have these days. 🇦🇺
Just realised it's 19 years ago, it's so busy the traffic is non stop.Is it the same today?
Worse at school times for definite. Takes about 35 minutes to get from Ystrad to Treherbert most days.
The good old days .
RIP Dom. End of an era.

Busy in 2005!
This is almost 20 years ago but the style of cars, clothes, and hair doesn’t seem to have changed at all.
