I am Jilly, 68 on the 19th November, from West Devon, England, who lives alone with her rescue greyhound Madge. I just enjoy watching your everyday life, in your home, and at the Rusty Homestead. I suffer with sever anxiety, and only go out of my front door, in my rural setting, to walk Madge, or take my recycle and rubbish to the end of the private lane I have right of way over. No traffic passes us here, and I live in one of 5 converted cart barns, that were converted into holiday homes back in 2006. These were then sold off to private buyers in 2016, and have full residential use now. I am the only one living in my own small home, which I love, but am surrounded by 4 other second homes, and one has been let to a family of 6 Ukrainians, who are a lovely family. So I see folk coming and going, which I love. It is so quiet here, and as I am a highly sensitive person, this is just the place for me. I enjoy being a recluse, but enjoy meeting the occasional human being when I am out walking my Madge. xxx

Hi Sean! I am in Simrishamn in Sweden, have followed you and Vivi a few years. My surprise when I saw Vivi and you in the same vlog! Have a ”koloni”, a swedish allotment and an ”extralott” which I was allowed to dig up on a communal lawn. Was passionate about growing but with increasing age (77) I cannot do as much as I want. Then it helps to watch your vlogs!

I'm from Bruges, Belgium. Watching other people living on their own, helps me cope with my own solitude. I love gardening but due to arthritis I had to leave my beautiful house and garden and I recently moved to a small ground floor appartement with a small garden (and I'm not even old at all 😊). Hearing you talk about changes in life and the doubts that come along with it sounds so familiar to me. Hearing it from someone else makes me feel I'm not alone with those thoughts.
