The car you tested is a 4x4 version. Gears are shorter than the 4x2 version. That is the reason why driving on motorway is not so pleasant.
1st gear is so short that Dacia recommends to start from 2nd gear if you drive on a normal road.
Shorter gears are useful for driving in off-road conditions and/or montainous area and/or towing heavy trailer or caravan.
In 2wd version, the 1.5 dCi Duster is maybe the best of the range (for most of the drivers) as it has highest torque (260 Nm) and very low fuel consumption (lighter weight and less friction than 4wd).
However, it is a pity that 1.5 dCi is not available anymore with 6 gears dual clutch robotized transmission (EDC in Renault language). THAT would defintely be the best !

This is the Answer I was looking for!! So, is 4*2 better on the long road?

@@DNZ3462REIS If you drive in normal conditions (no off-road, no towing), I do not see any reason to buy a 4wd vehicle. A front-wheel drive Duster is enough for going almost anywhere, even in winter. With slightly longer gears on 2wd Duster, engine rpm on motorway will be lower with benefit for both fuel economy and engine noise.

Mislim da je dobro sto pokazujes i kvalitet sound system-a. Pokusaj sa No copy Right music, pa dodaj i muziku kao deo test-a da bude kompletno.

Leaving your hand on the gearstick will wear out the selector mechanism. It also means you are not driving. Hands on the wheel are best.

Yes as standard, electric windows, Ac, reverse camera and modest touch screen. They have all you need without being distracting. Good buy for sure

Diesel makes less CO2, so it is less harmful to the planet that humans need. It is less proven that diesel particulates harm a few of the people who make car pollution.

Average 57mpg easily day to day. On long journey around 64mpg achievable at 70+mph. Diesel still the best choice
