I get mad when I see people using Galaxy Phones in Adaptive Display or Cinematic mode and complaining about non-natural colors! Just change the settings to Basic and get one of the most accurate displays. As easy as this. Stop misleading comments.

I just switched from the iphone 7 plus to the s7 edge and im not looking back. I have always had a apple phone but i have to say im super impressed with Samsung's later devices.

I love the S7 edge. The best part of the phone for me is the display and the fact that is gets so much love from the xda developer community. Running s9 software on my s7 edge and it runs great.

That's because iPhones have a higher resale value. That's just how it's always been. For some reason Samsung value drops like a rock after only a few months

Features that make the S7 still expensive years after its launch are..
1 The micro SD card slot. Private remains private.
2 The larger battery. 3600 is better than the S9 which is a sad 3000
3 It is the largest size for one handed use, bigger needs 2 hands.
4 Easy to upgrade.
5 Easy to find covers.
6 Easy to find parts.
7 Easy to use.
The amoled screen is a lot better.

Itzpayday 123 Thats definitely noticeable on a 5 Inch Screen, i had the S7 and i was always keeping it on FHD/HD because it was so irrelevant and i saw no difference.

Luka TO I can tell the difference too when i look at it from 1 cm but thats usually not the case. 80% of the People use 1080p for a above 20 Inch Monitor, so and no one is complaining. Much rather have more Battery and better performance instead of this useless shit. Also i got my Eyes tested from a Doctor and he said my eyes are working 100% fine even better then average.
I personally still love and regularly use my S7e, even though I also have an s9+.. Especially with Oreo right around the bend, it still is an awesome phone with a great design.. Also the fingerprint sensor on the s7e is lightning fast compared to s9+..
TBH, the s7e has the best battery life I've had on a Samsung device, and even almost two years later, it still holds a solid charge..

Yeah I had the s7 and now I got the s9 but I can't agree with you on this one my finger print in s9 is way faster then my s7 finger print dont get me wrong s7 still a monster for a 2 year old device

I'm really a Samsung user and a loyalist, my first phone was an S5.
The S7 is still beautiful, the screen, the design, and overall the specs are really great. Though the iPhone 7 Plus has dual rear cameras and stereo speakers, I would still like the Samsung side. 😊
Edit: Apple has different RAM management though, that's why 3GBs of RAM is already a beast. And also, the 3D Touch is a great feature.
PS. I love the Edge display....... and a headphone jack.

Great review, but... the S7 edge is the better cameraphone overall, the iphone 7 is just fancier at displaying photos on its own display. Other than that keep on with the s7 edge in 2018 video series. It's great!

I want to talk about the iPhone SE 2. I think that it doesn't have to be as small as the first one, but that doesn't mean that the design of the 5S should disappear, the screen-to-body ratio should get bigger, dual cameras for the bokeh effect would be a good idea, 3D touch can be there too, everything in a good price. In my opinion, that's what the iPhone should have been.
I switched from iPhone 7 Plus to Galaxy S7 Edge mainly for LDAC codec that will be coming to Oreo as early as next month.

Turn the s7 edge's performance mode to high performance, the battery life might decrease but the speed will be a lot smoother.

I bought a used S7 edge a few weeks ago, used. I didn't know you had to download every update separately until you got to the last one. Apple let's you download the latest update and that's it. It took me 1 he 30 mins to download all the updates.

I would go for the s7 edge, since it was my daily driver last year before going wreck, i miss it so much, huge difference with my actual phone, which is the hauwei p8 lite 2017!

Ummmm I am andriod fanboy myself ....I use a note 8 as my daily driver (it is my beast)but I have no offence against iPhones either .My dad uses an iPhone 7plus since it was released and till now it is still running great for him without any lags

At least the S7 won't slow down unlike each iOS update until 14. And Android 8 is miles ahead of iOS 11 so I doubt it'll be different by iOS 14

My middle daughter is in the market for a new phone. She's an Android user, and she had her eye on this one (the S7 edge) and a Moto (she already has one of those). I like the edge because of all it has to offer for around the same price of a new Moto. It's her decision but, as always, I'm sending her this video to help her with her choice. It's all about opinion, for me my S7 edge is much much better than any Iphone, in all departments, even the camera department, about which some say Iphone is better, well I don't agree with that !

I upgraded to iPhone 7 plus from s7 edge and was very happy with the decision. I just liked the faster interface and smooth UI of the iphone 7plus. s7 edge got laggy over time, I was a pokemon go player and its GPS bugs and overheating drove me crazy,. iPhone was just better in every way except for the screen and form factor where s7 edge cannot be touched.

Here it is in the start of 2019. My wife still using S7 edge and I am still using my iPhone 7 plus. Hers now lags and lots of hiccups. Mine still smooth.

Technically the iPhone 7 Plus can use fast charging with the 12 watt power adapter which is more than the s7 edge’s 10 watts but the s7 edge’s comes with the phone

The S7 edge has a curved screen that makes it look narrower than the iPhone 7 Plus screen. I've always hated that screen.
