In this tutorial I have used mainly satin fabrics with one sheer to make 6 GIANT sized scrunchies. I've used bright spring coloured fabrics and I put the hair accessories on at the end of the video!

Hello I'm Sally an art and textiles teacher who set up my small teaching business @didsburyartstudio after leaving my full-time teaching job in a school in the UK. Since then I have been exploring my passion for art/textiles by building up a portfolio of new skills from courses I have been on and a recent Internship in Millinery. I supply teach in secondary schools, run textile workshops and also work part-time in a hospital teaching art.

Hi Elizabeth! thanks for watching I have just checked at 3.55 minutes I say 7 inches for the elastic. Hope this helps🙂👍🏻

great way to make them i cant wait to get started thank you for helping to learn how to make them. i just bought one at the fair in TN cookeville and i was like omg i love it but i pull my hair up and i want to make them where you can put ur hair in a bun and just throw it on and not double the scrunchies so thank you for teaching how to make it.!!!!!

This reminds me so much of my cat, she is a tabby called Tiger. She either just sits and watches me sew or decides to play with everything and throw things on the floor that will make a sound, such as scissors and pins.

In the past I have tried lots of different fabrics..in this video I just fancied using some satin I got.😊
