He was in a coma and not responding to anyone or anything. I played this song and saw tears streaming down his face. I know he heard and understood it.

In this scene the singing was recorded live, old fashioned style, and she made one miniscule mistake, at 2:35 which I'm sure would have gone unnoticed by everyone if she hadn't grabbed her throat and made that face. And I had to re-watch that part, and concentrate very hard, twice, to pick up on what that "mistake" was. THAT is how generally flawless her singing is. One in a billion talent. But she worked hard and was dedicated to enriching her talent too. I'm so glad she did. Her singing is one of the most wonderful sounds in the world.
