This is the best video out there yet ! I've owned the XJ for a couple of months and I never new about the sideways feature, well how to work it anyway. Thank you so much for this video.
Thank you for a lovely calm, clear and informative video. I am saving like crazy to upgrade my embroidery and sewing machines for a more 'clever' all in one machine. I have looked at a few and this machine just pushes all the good buttons. I live in the UK and really wish that you were my local shop; shops like yours are few and far between where I live. Thank you again for such a good video.
This video was great for me! I purchased this machine today and I was reading the book but seeing how the machine worked was priceless. Thank you. I am set up for a class, but I want to sew now. 😃
Great video out there. The only thing I would say is to use black or red thread for easier viewing. I didn't realize that there was a bobbin case for embroidery? Otherwise thank you so much.
I agree that you have given the best review of the machine . I am buying one if these in a week - if you were in the UK I would definitely buy from you !! Thanks for this
Thank you so much for your helpful response. My current machine is quite ancient and is a Brother Super Galaxy 3000. It has stood me in good stead for more years than I care to think about and is still going strong. However, I am now considering getting myself up to date with current machinery as due to the pandemic I have branched out for the first time into Quilting and design. Doing great thus far but do need a bigger throat to my machine as getting older makes my fingers less able to get into tight spaces. Wish I lived over your way because quilting appears to have a much larger following, and Brother seems to favour the American Market over that here in the UK in terms of items that come with some of their machines. However, I have a Baby Lock Gloria which would seem to pair with many of the sewing/embroidery machines on the market. This is why I follow both your videos on You Tube as well as others. Keep up the good work which enables us to keep hearing what is best on the market as well as how to operate these machines which are getting more and more complex. Thanks once again, look forward to the next video.
I LUV my Stellaire XJ-1. I feel blessed to ha e access to this amazing technology to make my creative like so much more enjoyable. The Muv-It Foot is brilliant and piecing is a joy. There’s so many things I haven’t gone into yet. It would be great to have an accessory box with a hinged lid, though.
Watching this video for the second time. Really good intro to the machine. I reckon if I'd seen this when I was in the market for a new machine I would have gone for this instead of the embroidery only XE1.
Thanks for your response but I was wondering if the stitch speed can. Be made variable speeds when sewing. Embroidery or other beautiful stitches. Lovely demonstration, Thankyou.

Thank you for the review 🙂 I'm new at sewing and looking fir a sewing machine. I found this machine at a good price. Is this only for embroidery or does it also work like a regular sewing machine?
Hi Lola, thank you for watching our video. Yes the Stellaire XJ1 is both an embroidery machine and a sewing machine. With a simple selection on the home screen, the machine will change to sewing. :)
This is a very broad comparison between two very different machines in terms of features and price point. The NV180 is a fantastic little entry level machine for someone just getting started with embroidery/sewing. It's compact and easy to use however you are limited by your hoop size at 100mm x 100mm. The Stellaire XJ1 is a higher end machine with some amazing features and a max hoop size of 240mm x 360mm. Both are great machines.
