It's interesting that this type of buds don't fit for somebody. I think they're perfect for my ears. This other type with the small rubber at the end never hold in my ears and fall out.
I just got my lolipod today and I gotta say I'm agreeing with most of the facts you're stating. I'm still figuring out how to use it, because I couldn't use the tapping controls. I think it's suitable for everyday use but not that satisfying for gaming use.

Bought these a little over a year ago, from this video 😋 Battery on one of them has deteriorated and only lasts around an hour anymore. Opened it up, but it seems to be all glued together so no replacing the battery on these. Otherwise good earphones, but the battery shouldn't just die in a year. What cheapo half-in-ear TWS's would you recommend at this point in time Sean?
Total there are 2 mics, one on each side to help with the noise cancelling during phone calls. In my test they're not so much eliminating the noise, but mostly helping your voice come out clearer to the person on the other side 😄

Hey there. I'll be checking out the truebuds next week. Stay tuned for that, but between the Truair and the onyx ace, i would say the onyx ace is a little better. They're both great, and if you don't have both, you really can't tell. The bass on the onyx ace is jz a lil bit stronger and the call quality in noisy places is much better than the trueair. 😄 so the comparison for now would be tronsmart onyx ace vs truebuds. Haha

I'll go with the Tronsmart Onyx Ace simply for the more dynamic sound. The Edifier is more suited for people who like more neutral sound, but if you want some punch with the bass. Go with the Tronsmart Onyx Ace 😄

Hi there brother! Yeap these are quite ok in noisy environment because of the cvc technology. How it works is that the ambient noise will still be there, but your voice still comes through quite clearly. And yea, you have to raise your voice a little. Haha

Hey there! I think it depends whether you like silicon tips or not. If you're ok with it, go with the x3. its better overall, better bass and audio quality overall.

Hey there 😄 if you're looking for something simple, the baseus should suffice. Its not the best in video compared to the edifier. The QCC3020 chip on the edifier is quite exceptional!

Hey there, yea they're really almost the same, i would say the Airpods are slightly rounder which gives it a comfy fit. The i12s are exactly the same but i highly recommend you stay away as those are pretty terrible. Haha comfort wise i think its really subjective, so yea, i would say the shape is pretty much alike but i can't guarantee that its as comfy as the airpods haha
Both are decent option but if i have to choose, I'll go with the w04pro. More features and looks nice too. But both are very bright sounding earbuds, so do take that into consideration.

Hi Sean how does this compare to the onyx ace? I heard the ace has bad vocals compared to the edifier having fuller vocals and defined mid and lows. I see you praising the onyx ace but my audio engineer friends tell me otherwise. Would like your comparison since you have them both.
Personally i don't think the tws200 does a great job with bass. It's a pretty flat earphones unless you press it in your ears with your fingers. From my layman perspective (not audio engineer haha) yes you get better vocals because of the lack of bass but the onyx ace is great with bass and i think the clarity is decent too. I've let a few friends try out the onyx ace and all of them find it nice sounding. Haha but if you have a chance to try them out i highly recommend that before buying 😄
the basic controls and other stuffs.will be handled by your assistant. that is why edifier didnt have to cram all the controls. should have test it before finalizing review

Ooh i actually recorded my self on my phone. Earbuds not connected to the phone, then recorded the sound output from the earphones to see if playback has latency.
Yeah, they are decent for it's price tag. They don't cancel ambient noise all that well, but my experience with them in not so noisy area is good. Too noisy and people can't quite hear you. 😉
I brougth newmsnr tws-08 for 500php. A little bit small than airpods 1/2... its automatically paired when ur bluetooth to ur phone is open.. the price of that tws200 is around 2,300 php here in the philippines.. pricy hehe..

Hi there. The button is mainly for entering pairing mode that's about it 😄 hmm the touch controls should work. Try tapping them faster to see if they register. Sometimes these earphones controls are not that sensitive
The controls work on my iPhone 6S but I also thought they didn’t at first. They’re hard to use for me, I have to tap right below the hole at the top of the shaft and I have to do it pretty quickly and with enough force.
My pair just arrived in the mail today! They are easy to setup. Hooked it up with my macbook first. In bluebooth settings, it shows both R and L earbuds, but connecting to either works for stereo. Curious but I can't seem to find the obvious, how can I tell how much charge is left within them?
Hey man. Glad its working. Natively, the earbuds only have a tone to indicate that the earbuds is low battery. For the case, if it flashes red rapidly, means the battery level is low. You can check out the manual for more details 😄
Hey there! Its quite an upgrade from the h180. Sound quality better, its wireless, Edifier makes a really good airpods alternative! The main difference is now you need to charge the battery 😄

Hey there 😄 yeap, it actually happens to some of the true wireless earbuds. Even the Sony WF1000XM3 which is a flagship, drops connection quite frequently. Static could sometimes be from the video recorded, sometimes when u watch videos where the audio was recorded at high gain, then you get that static sound, apart from that, i don't get other weird static noises though.
Hi there, personally i would say both are not so good for rock music. The open style eartips really takes away a lot of the bass. You need the in-ear style ones to get some decent music. I would recommend checking out some of Soundpeats earphones like the Truengine SE or Truengine 2 if you like that loud bassy rock music. The mics on those are good too for phone calls
Hello thank you for joining the family! Actually most of my earbuds still work. I only had one that died on me, which is the Sabbat E12 Ultra, where my case battery died, it stopped charging. Other than that, all my earbuds still work =D
I bought this pair after i watched your review. The touch control was quite sluggish at first but after a few tries, it works perfectly. I experience some latency when i watch video on youtube and video from my gallery. Dear Sean, is there any possibility that the latency comes from my phone? Bcs my phone uses Bluetooth 4.2, and i don't want to blame the latency on this TWS bcs it's too good to be blamed 😂
Hey there Azri, are you using an iphone? Cuz iphone supports AAC but not aptX. So aac is a lil slower than aptX codec. But if you run android, 5he bluetooth profile also make a difference, because BT is backwards compatible, although the Edifier is BT 5.0, it will revert to 4.2 depending on your phone, so you will notice some latency :D hope that helps.

do you also happen to know how to fix pairing problems? mine is only connected on the left bud and i've tried resetting the buds n resetting my bluetooth connection settings but i still cant get both pairs to be connected to my phone simultaneously :/ when i try to scan only the left bud shows up although ive checked that the right bud still has battery
Hey there. I would say a really good one is the Edifier TWS which is quite expensive. If you're on a budget and want good sound quality, try checking out the TWS2. That's quite a good one. I'll avoid the TWS1 is you want good bass. The TWS1 is a little on the flatter end

So far what I can see that Realme Buds Air is a great competitor towards AirPods because it has R1 chip which improve lower latency, TYPE C and wireless charging. Only cons is 3 hours usage per charge and max usage is 17 hours. Price wise is RM 299 but they had flash sales which price at RM 199 which is very close to what Edifier is selling. I suggest Sean to review that Buds Air.

Ooh yea. I read many reviewers have problems with airpod style earbuds. Perhaps i also have a very generic ears, most earbuds fit me quite well.

I'll go with the Tronsmart Onyx Ace simply for the more dynamic sound. The Edifier is more suited for people who like more neutral sound, but if you want some punch with the bass. Go with the Tronsmart Onyx Ace 😄

Hi there brother! Yeap these are quite ok in noisy environment because of the cvc technology. How it works is that the ambient noise will still be there, but your voice still comes through quite clearly. And yea, you have to raise your voice a little. Haha

Hey there 😄 if you're looking for something simple, the baseus should suffice. Its not the best in video compared to the edifier. The QCC3020 chip on the edifier is quite exceptional!
So if you want a general earbuds you can use also for watching videos, I'll suggest you go for the Edifier. 😄

Hey there, yea they're really almost the same, i would say the Airpods are slightly rounder which gives it a comfy fit. The i12s are exactly the same but i highly recommend you stay away as those are pretty terrible. Haha comfort wise i think its really subjective, so yea, i would say the shape is pretty much alike but i can't guarantee that its as comfy as the airpods haha

Both are decent option but if i have to choose, I'll go with the w04pro. More features and looks nice too. But both are very bright sounding earbuds, so do take that into consideration.

Hi Sean how does this compare to the onyx ace? I heard the ace has bad vocals compared to the edifier having fuller vocals and defined mid and lows. I see you praising the onyx ace but my audio engineer friends tell me otherwise. Would like your comparison since you have them both.
Personally i don't think the tws200 does a great job with bass. It's a pretty flat earphones unless you press it in your ears with your fingers. From my layman perspective (not audio engineer haha) yes you get better vocals because of the lack of bass but the onyx ace is great with bass and i think the clarity is decent too. I've let a few friends try out the onyx ace and all of them find it nice sounding. Haha but if you have a chance to try them out i highly recommend that before buying 😄

Ooh i actually recorded my self on my phone. Earbuds not connected to the phone, then recorded the sound output from the earphones to see if playback has latency.

Yeah, they are decent for it's price tag. They don't cancel ambient noise all that well, but my experience with them in not so noisy area is good. Too noisy and people can't quite hear you. 😉
I brougth newmsnr tws-08 for 500php. A little bit small than airpods 1/2... its automatically paired when ur bluetooth to ur phone is open.. the price of that tws200 is around 2,300 php here in the philippines.. pricy hehe..

The controls work on my iPhone 6S but I also thought they didn’t at first. They’re hard to use for me, I have to tap right below the hole at the top of the shaft and I have to do it pretty quickly and with enough force.

My pair just arrived in the mail today! They are easy to setup. Hooked it up with my macbook first. In bluebooth settings, it shows both R and L earbuds, but connecting to either works for stereo. Curious but I can't seem to find the obvious, how can I tell how much charge is left within them?
Hey man. Glad its working. Natively, the earbuds only have a tone to indicate that the earbuds is low battery. For the case, if it flashes red rapidly, means the battery level is low. You can check out the manual for more details 😄

Hey there 😄 yeap, it actually happens to some of the true wireless earbuds. Even the Sony WF1000XM3 which is a flagship, drops connection quite frequently. Static could sometimes be from the video recorded, sometimes when u watch videos where the audio was recorded at high gain, then you get that static sound, apart from that, i don't get other weird static noises though.

Hi there, personally i would say both are not so good for rock music. The open style eartips really takes away a lot of the bass. You need the in-ear style ones to get some decent music. I would recommend checking out some of Soundpeats earphones like the Truengine SE or Truengine 2 if you like that loud bassy rock music. The mics on those are good too for phone calls

Hello thank you for joining the family! Actually most of my earbuds still work. I only had one that died on me, which is the Sabbat E12 Ultra, where my case battery died, it stopped charging. Other than that, all my earbuds still work =D
I bought this pair after i watched your review. The touch control was quite sluggish at first but after a few tries, it works perfectly. I experience some latency when i watch video on youtube and video from my gallery. Dear Sean, is there any possibility that the latency comes from my phone? Bcs my phone uses Bluetooth 4.2, and i don't want to blame the latency on this TWS bcs it's too good to be blamed 😂
Hey there Azri, are you using an iphone? Cuz iphone supports AAC but not aptX. So aac is a lil slower than aptX codec. But if you run android, 5he bluetooth profile also make a difference, because BT is backwards compatible, although the Edifier is BT 5.0, it will revert to 4.2 depending on your phone, so you will notice some latency :D hope that helps.

Hey there. I would say a really good one is the Edifier TWS which is quite expensive. If you're on a budget and want good sound quality, try checking out the TWS2. That's quite a good one. I'll avoid the TWS1 is you want good bass. The TWS1 is a little on the flatter end

So far what I can see that Realme Buds Air is a great competitor towards AirPods because it has R1 chip which improve lower latency, TYPE C and wireless charging. Only cons is 3 hours usage per charge and max usage is 17 hours. Price wise is RM 299 but they had flash sales which price at RM 199 which is very close to what Edifier is selling. I suggest Sean to review that Buds Air.
