Well i haven't tried the galaxy buds, but the Edifieris ok, but isn't really the best for calls. If your local samsung allows trying, give the galaxy buds a go and see if its good before committing
Controls are inadequate especially given most competitors have shown what's accepted as a minimum. Does the control scheme change in mono mode so you can activate answer call with either side? Also the phone call in the noisy environment was unintelligible. Hope they can fix these things in firmware updates.
Agreed. Controls have been disappointing for edifier. Hope they'll at least allow customization in app. 😄 and when in mono mode, they still have the same controls, just missing the anc. Very limited.
I have a pair of NB2s & I'm coming from TWS5. Soundwise, TWS5s have a slight advantage, but NB2s aren't bad at all. Comfort & fit, NB2s are great compared to TWS5s. Case however, feels like a downgrade instead of an upgrade 😢 I love the USB-C port, the look, but the feel is just too plastic-y and thin compared to the chunky and solid case of the TWS5s.
Hello there. Ooh yea. I could relate. It would be nice if Edifier were to leather wrapped it. I liked the TWS5, but my case was a little squeaky, but overall, it felt more solid and chunky.
I was just about to buy these based on your review but jeeze that call quality is really bad. For this price its not really acceptable. Sean, which earbuds do you recommend for call quality, something I need for work? Thanks for the great reviews
The call quality is much better on mine than Sean's review. It's still a little robotic but really good at cutting out noise. The Apollo Bold is also good but a little muffled. I quite like the Boltune BT-BH024 for indoor calls. Great at the price point. Same as Sean says with the Onyx Ace. Better still, if you need a mic for work calls, get a condensor mic. My old Auna 900B has outperformed every set of earbuds I've tested this year
@@ssouthall6 mate, thanks for that. I recently saw a review by a guy called Dad does Tech (or something, sorry for tell his name but I thought this would be interesting for all) for a pair of taotronics 88's, anyway he compared recordings from a number of mobile apps v directly to his laptop. All the apps seems to compress the shit out of and degrade the audio. The computer recording was clear, but even still not as clear as he experienced a call to be. I found it to be the best call test/explaintion I've seen thus far.
After viewed your review of Edifier TWS NB2, There are 5 cons which doesn't impress me which are 1) Calls quality on noisy background sounds muffled and not clear. 2) No skip backwards of tracks especially listen to repeat songs. 3) No Volume Controls on this earbuds which is major disadvantage. 4) No EQ settings on the Edifier app. 5) No other earbuds colors to choose.
Hello Sean, just want know your opinion on this, would you prefer the Edifier tws nb2 to Transmart Apollo Bold? Or which is better to go for if I'm to choose one out of the two?
Hey there. Thanks for supporting the channel! I won't say one is better than the other, these 2 actually sounds pretty on par. Which is amazing on the part of edifier because they can achieve that sound from a single driver. Plus it has added ANC. Haha great package overall. Only downside, controls...
Hye sean.. sorry for interupting.. but i have question about my earbud.. i just purchased Edifier TWS NB2 Earbuds.. and i love it so much !!! But how to know the battery level of the case itself ? As the earbud we can see from the app.. but how about the case battery level ? There’s a indicator light near the charging port but i don’t know what it tried to tell me since there is no information about it in the manual book.. so can you assist me about this.. thank you☺️
When playing the microphone test sample, I think you should playback the recording into the final edit of the video instead of playing it back in the microphone. There is no in-ear seal when doing so, hence the call quality will automatically sound hollow.
Ooh yea. That was actually the recording. I only film that segment into the mic so I sync it up in post. That is the output recorded into the device itself 😁
Hi, When testing, could you please tell us if the earbuds can manage multipoint connections (2 devices connected at the same time like computer + phone)? That is really a useful feature but existing mainly on big wireless headphones... Could you precisely tell us also if each earbud is connected to the phone or if there is a master/slave thing. Thanks for your reviews!
Thanks for the beautiful video. I bought this. The unpleasant thing is it loses connection at least one per day with the laptop, with right ear piece and it is really annoying. My old cheaper tws earbud doesn't lose connection that many
Hey there, for my ears, they are comfy, but not as comfortable as the Airpods Pro. The Airpods pro is just shaped so perfectly for my ears and doesn't put any pressure on my ears.😄
Great video by the way I'm trying to get into the stem buds, and I love the video, I will be purchasing these, I have a ton of buds, maybe these can be a go to pair for me on the go 👍😎
Sean just bought these pairing and connect issues with Android, sometimes when the phone app connects one or both of the earbuds don't work, unpairing and attempting to repair fails as well, tried every combination I can think of. On the + side they perform very well for the price, ear detection and control is nice, but thinking they are too complex may be part of the problem. Tried unsuccessfully to pair them to windows 10 laptop. No dice.
Your review is great! Thanks! But the call quality of this earbubs in noise or quietly environment is a pice of crap... The Edifier X3 ou TWS1 make a better job...
Is this video sponsored by Edifier? Apart from that, this is a pretty clean review 👌 very detailed Do you think it's worth the upgrade from the first gen Galaxy Buds? It has ambient sound mode, but no ANC built in which is why I'm interested
Hello. Nope it's not sponsored, they did send it for review but all opinions are mine 😄 i would go for this though, cuz the 1st gen galaxy buds didn't sound as bassy as I like. This however, hits all the right notes 😄
Hello! Thanks for the great review! I just got these, literally arrived about 2.5 hours ago!(They've been "charging" for that long) The first thing I did was to try to charge them... They were at 60% right out of the box... I have not used them at all (just paired them to my phone) but they are now at 27%...(they keep losing charge) There case doesn't have any lights on...but it's plugged in I did a factory reset... But it hasn't helped... What are they supposed to look like when they are charging? I hope that you can help me out or guide me... Thank you!
how about the ambient mode? Can I turn it on for a long time? How's the quaility of the ambient sound? I need a good earbub that i can use in the office, listening to podcast while still can hear what my co-workers say. So i am wondering between this and LG tone free.
Great review, but I don't understand how your call quality comes through so bad. Mine is INSANELY good, it cancels everything out indoors and it isn't bad outdoors either. The ANC on the other hand is very weak compared to the Apollo Bold, with any tips I try I just can't get it to work anywhere near the Apollo or even any of my decent PNC buds
Andrew Omo sound is pretty good considering it uses only SBC. Noise canceling is definitely better at lower frequencies. Ambient mode is fine, it can be controlled through the app to a level that's suitable. In my opinion, the overall ANC is better on the Tronsmart Apollo Bold. The sound quality is a little more refined on these but both are excellent earbuds. I've seen a lot of reviews saying the Apollo Bold are too busy in the low mids and sub bass but I didn't find that to be the case
The original set and the one I exchanged it with both seem to have the same issues. Music would eventually stop playing even though spotify is still running. Can't change modes or even connect to the app, though I can receive calls. Well, more like call. Then vocals would move from right to left. Happened twice now. None of my other bluetooth tws buds or headphones have had the same issue.
Apart from lousy control gestures, the response to reconnect it back to your devices are not so great once disconnected. By the way not a Dual device pairing available... I returned it after having it for 1 week. The only great thing is Long battery.
I really like your reviews! I'm in a huge dilemma between Edifier NB2 and lypertek tevi... Edifier has ANC, but everyone is talking about tevi's sound quality! I'm much more interested in sound quality than in other features such as call quality, battery life etc.
I have a colleague who uses the tevi and he is looking to swap out because of the comfort. It does sound good, but if it hurts, then the sound quality doesn't matter so much haha. I think the nb2 holds itself quite well sound quality wise and I'm plenty impressed, bass is good, clarity is good. Plus it has ANC and at least for me, they are comfortable. 😁
Bought these because of your review, and I loved them! However I can not seem to get them into pairing mode anymore. All it does now is a green light flashing every now and then. Any way to reset these things to factory defaults?
Hello there. I got this from Edifier's website. Do let me know if it works. Your earphone need to enter pairing mode in order to appear in bluetooth device search: 1. Put both earphones into the case and leave the lid opened 2. Hold the case button for 5 seconds until it flashes in Blue/white alternatively,. 3. Search again in your phone/laptop. 4. Click on it to pair. once paired it will automatic connect next time unless you unpair it.
I bought a pair of these recently from China and the voice prompts are in Chinese. I was wondering if there's a way to change them to English. Thank you for your answer. ^^,
Which one is best for sound, edifier nb2 or razer hammerhead?

Thanks! This is a very good review. It’s a shame the headphones have such a terrible microphone quality. I’m currently using AirPods 2 and am looking for something with better microphones. Cheers!
Hello! I haven't gotten the chance to try out the Pamu. But hopefully soon, i hear good things about them. For the NB2, i can say it's really one of the best in this price range. 😄

Thank you for making this video, but jeez the microphone quality is horrible. They're not really meant for meetings and I would have hoped that ANC could somehow help audio processing to remove the ambient noise :/
I'm so glad I found your review before I bought these. Everything sounds GREAT except the lack of volume controls which at this level and at this price point in 2020 is mind boggling to me.....and a Deal breaker. So thanks again for saving me my hard earned cash. I would like to ask you if you think the Tronsmart apollo bolds are as good as far as sound quality? I know they have volume controls and were my 2nd choice at this price.....thanks!
can u please make a video comparison and find which is the best for these brands. Edifier TWS NB2, Aukey EP-N5, Soundpeats Truengine 3 SE and Soundpeats Trueshift 2.. make it from low quality to high quality in terms of sound, latency, battery and battery indicator, cable usb c or micro, etc. tq sean :)
Hi Sean, How would you choose between Edifier TWS 6 (RM199) and NB2(RM279) Cause my budget is around RM200 Do you think it is worth to get NB2 with that price?
Hello. There are 2 considerations yea. So if Active Noise cancelling is important, then you won't regret with the NB2. Second consideration is the bass, because tws6 uses ba drivers, the bass is not as powerful as normal dynamic drivers. So if you want bass, get the NB2. So who is the TWS6 for, the tws6 focuses on high quality sound reproduction, so you will get very clear, high quality sound quality and doesn't just focus so much on bass. So that's the analysis, hope it helps 😄
I find both fine. The Apollo Bold have large oval drivers so if you push them too far into your ear canals you'll find them very uncomfortable. Once you get the right tips both are nice. Audio quality is very different. The Apollo Bold are bassy but rich with better ANC. The NB2 are more balanced and slightly more refined with better call quality. Just my own personal subjective view
Finally a reviewer who pays attention to audio-video latency! You earned a subscriber. Very well done, excellent video

Idk if people just aren't aware (again, which.. these days seems insane, but...?) are misinformed or... just don't care since it hasn't been well enforced & consequences, tho explained.. haven't been dealt much.. Disclosing, tho... esp considering it deceives & takes advantage of the very viewers/consumers who technically (in #) make any of this even possible... should be a MUST. Making sure the rules/laws that are in place to protect them, are at the forefront & a priority... for anyone who mentions, places, shows, reviews, promotes ANYTHING that isnt 100% paid for out of pocket OR... that has gain of any kind (past, present or even potential) leading to bias. Whether an invite to an event, gifts, extras & swag sent... or just wanting to remain on some PR list to keep getting free products, every viewer needs to be made fully aware of any connections between channel, product/brand. (speaking of, please be sure to update/include the required disclosure in description box & in pinned comment. Doing so, ABOVE any of those affiliated links. Stating what it is, & that through them, you will be receiving a commission based on any purchases we make. Doing so prior to & in some way, marking/indicating specifically which apply (if more than one)... will ensure everyone has been made aware of your intent & potential gain, before having already clicked away.) Again, thanks much for being sure to disclose in video.... very clearly.... that these were sent your way, for free. :) They are really nice, ENJOY!!!!! Stay safe & be well.
Thank you for your support and your comment! Appreciate it! Take care! 😄
Great review..compare to galaxy buds+ which one you recommend?..focusing more on call quality.
Well i haven't tried the galaxy buds, but the Edifieris ok, but isn't really the best for calls. If your local samsung allows trying, give the galaxy buds a go and see if its good before committing
SEAN what do u recommend for me...This Edifier NB2 or the Airfun Air Pro..in planning to buy 1..please do reply..it will help me a lot to decide😍😍😍
Hey I didn't see any shots of you with the earbuds on. Did I just miss it?
I wanted to buy oppo enco w51, but after seeing your review I start to like these earbuds edifier.
What you think ?
True
Yea not the best. If you're looking specifically for clear calls, check out the Tronsmart Onyx Ace. That's one of the best 😄
I recently saw a review by a guy called Dad does Tech (or something, sorry for tell his name but I thought this would be interesting for all) for a pair of taotronics 88's,
anyway he compared recordings from a number of mobile apps v directly to his laptop. All the apps seems to compress the shit out of and degrade the audio.
The computer recording was clear, but even still not as clear as he experienced a call to be.
I found it to be the best call test/explaintion I've seen thus far.
@@ssouthall6 need a good mic for conference calls, the auna900b is a touch too big to hang around my neck :)
After viewed your review of Edifier TWS NB2, There are 5 cons which doesn't impress me which are
1) Calls quality on noisy background sounds muffled and not clear.
2) No skip backwards of tracks especially listen to repeat songs.
3) No Volume Controls on this earbuds which is major disadvantage.
4) No EQ settings on the Edifier app.
5) No other earbuds colors to choose.
Libratone track air plus doesn't has any of these problems except for volume control. But the price is twice as much lol
There is a grey on white/cream colour version with a cream colour case.
Hello Sean, just want know your opinion on this, would you prefer the Edifier tws nb2 to Transmart Apollo Bold? Or which is better to go for if I'm to choose one out of the two?
Would You Prefer Edifier NB2 Over Truengine 3 Se for Bass and Sound Clarity ?
Fan Of Your Review Brother ... Keep UP
Hey there. Thanks for supporting the channel! I won't say one is better than the other, these 2 actually sounds pretty on par. Which is amazing on the part of edifier because they can achieve that sound from a single driver. Plus it has added ANC. Haha great package overall. Only downside, controls...
@@SeanTalksTech Thanks For Your Reply Brother ... U R Great & Helpful ... Take Love
@@tashmim1923 take care ya! 😄
How this one compared to liberty air 2, which one I should prefer...?
This compared with soundcore liberty 2 pro... Which to pick?
Sound quality alone, as the L2P doesn't have anc, L2P wins any day. I have both and it's not even close
Hi Sean!! Please compare NB2 to Pamu quiet = )
Hye sean.. sorry for interupting.. but i have question about my earbud.. i just purchased Edifier TWS NB2 Earbuds.. and i love it so much !!! But how to know the battery level of the case itself ? As the earbud we can see from the app.. but how about the case battery level ? There’s a indicator light near the charging port but i don’t know what it tried to tell me since there is no information about it in the manual book.. so can you assist me about this.. thank you☺️
What is the Backup Of Warbirds In Single Charge
When I am Listening music Nonstop
When playing the microphone test sample, I think you should playback the recording into the final edit of the video instead of playing it back in the microphone. There is no in-ear seal when doing so, hence the call quality will automatically sound hollow.
Ooh yea. That was actually the recording. I only film that segment into the mic so I sync it up in post. That is the output recorded into the device itself 😁
Hello sean which earbuuds better, edifiers tws nb2 or transmart apollo bold ?
Or others in balance under 100$
Hi,
When testing, could you please tell us if the earbuds can manage multipoint connections (2 devices connected at the same time like computer + phone)?
That is really a useful feature but existing mainly on big wireless headphones...
Could you precisely tell us also if each earbud is connected to the phone or if there is a master/slave thing.
Thanks for your reviews!
Thanks for the beautiful video. I bought this. The unpleasant thing is it loses connection at least one per day with the laptop, with right ear piece and it is really annoying. My old cheaper tws earbud doesn't lose connection that many
Hi Sean! When it comes to comfort, these phones are as comfortable as Air pods pro?
Hey there, for my ears, they are comfy, but not as comfortable as the Airpods Pro. The Airpods pro is just shaped so perfectly for my ears and doesn't put any pressure on my ears.😄
Great video by the way I'm trying to get into the stem buds, and I love the video, I will be purchasing these, I have a ton of buds, maybe these can be a go to pair for me on the go 👍😎
Hey man. Yeah definitely check them out. These are a 0pretty great pair!😄
Thank you for the support. Yeah i hope they were better too. 😆
Folklore album on repeat!! 😬💖
Yeah! So amazing!
Which is the best? Nb2 or pamu quiet? Have you tested pamu’s?
Hello, i personally have not tested the Pamu, but the NB2 is one of the better ones I've heard around this price range. 😄
Is this video sponsored by Edifier?
Apart from that, this is a pretty clean review 👌 very detailed
Do you think it's worth the upgrade from the first gen Galaxy Buds? It has ambient sound mode, but no ANC built in which is why I'm interested
Hello. Nope it's not sponsored, they did send it for review but all opinions are mine 😄 i would go for this though, cuz the 1st gen galaxy buds didn't sound as bassy as I like. This however, hits all the right notes 😄
Hello! Thanks for the great review!
I just got these, literally arrived about 2.5 hours ago!(They've been "charging" for that long)
The first thing I did was to try to charge them... They were at 60% right out of the box...
I have not used them at all (just paired them to my phone) but they are now at 27%...(they keep losing charge)
There case doesn't have any lights on...but it's plugged in
I did a factory reset... But it hasn't helped...
What are they supposed to look like when they are charging?
I hope that you can help me out or guide me...
Thank you!
Hey should i buy these or Apollo Buds (anc and sound)? Keep up the good work :)
nice review. solid edits
Thank you so much!
Great review as always, Sean. There is a new tws Honor Choice, can you review it in the future once it released? Thank you. 🙏
Btw Sean, you forgot to include how did it look in ear!
Ooh gosh. Thanks. No wonder something seems missing. Thx for pointing out! 😁
Ooh yea. Waiting for the honor choice too haha 😄
91k subscribers to go..nice review as always..keep it up..
Thank you my friend!
Ok getting a earbuds for music and watching netflix...do you recommend this or Edifier Uni buds? TIA! :)
how about the ambient mode? Can I turn it on for a long time? How's the quaility of the ambient sound?
I need a good earbub that i can use in the office, listening to podcast while still can hear what my co-workers say. So i am wondering between this and LG tone free.
Honestly I'm struggling to figure out what you are saying after you turn on the simulated background noise
Yeah bad mic...
Is the sound quality better than Galaxy Buds +?
Great review, but I don't understand how your call quality comes through so bad. Mine is INSANELY good, it cancels everything out indoors and it isn't bad outdoors either. The ANC on the other hand is very weak compared to the Apollo Bold, with any tips I try I just can't get it to work anywhere near the Apollo or even any of my decent PNC buds
How's the ambient mode and the sound?
Andrew Omo sound is pretty good considering it uses only SBC.
Noise canceling is definitely better at lower frequencies. Ambient mode is fine, it can be controlled through the app to a level that's suitable.
In my opinion, the overall ANC is better on the Tronsmart Apollo Bold. The sound quality is a little more refined on these but both are excellent earbuds. I've seen a lot of reviews saying the Apollo Bold are too busy in the low mids and sub bass but I didn't find that to be the case
Much better than those shill reviews i've seen. Very comprehensive.
@@SeanTalksTech thank you for your response!!! I'll go for nb2!!!
I have an Pamu Slide, this Edifier is better than the Pamu Slide?
About Bass and volume, is a upgrade from Pamu Slide?
Thanks
Great review! Thank you!
Great review, helped me make a purchase decision ;)
Bought these because of your review, and I loved them! However I can not seem to get them into pairing mode anymore. All it does now is a green light flashing every now and then. Any way to reset these things to factory defaults?
Hello there. I got this from Edifier's website. Do let me know if it works.
Your earphone need to enter pairing mode in order to appear in bluetooth device search:
1. Put both earphones into the case and leave the lid opened
2. Hold the case button for 5 seconds until it flashes in Blue/white alternatively,.
3. Search again in your phone/laptop.
4. Click on it to pair. once paired it will automatic connect next time unless you unpair it.
Which one would you recommend between Edifier tws nb2 and aukey t10?
My opinion but I think that the noise cancellation test that performed in the video injustice the earbuds
Nice review but I missed you using it! Would like to know how it fit on you to get an idea of the size!
Cheers!
Hello, how are you? do you think edifier will update the app, add functions and allow customization of touchs in the future? Is this upgrade common?
Hello. I'm doing great. From my experience, i don't think so. Pretty much stuck with this, but i always secretly wish they do. Haha who knows 😄
Is this earbuds good for gaming too?
Hi sean, what tws can you recommend me with low latency for gaming and good quality of sound/bass for music? I am not into call quality.
Hi Sean, if this Edifier TWS NB2 vs Mifo O7 (Carbon Nanotube Dynamic), which one is better in terms of audio and call quality? Please advise. Thanks.
Edifier NB2 or PaMu Quiet? I'm really in doubt between this ones! And thanks for the video!!
Hello! I haven't gotten the chance to try out the Pamu. But hopefully soon, i hear good things about them. For the NB2, i can say it's really one of the best in this price range. 😄
I have the Pamu Slide Mini and the latency is noticeable when gaming, other than that it's ok. Let me know if you know the quite is different
I got Tronsmart Apollo bold. It sounds near to perfect. Have deep Bass, call quality definitely better than edifier tws nb2. Worth to buy.
can u please make a video comparison and find which is the best for these brands. Edifier TWS NB2, Aukey EP-N5, Soundpeats Truengine 3 SE and Soundpeats Trueshift 2.. make it from low quality to high quality in terms of sound, latency, battery and battery indicator, cable usb c or micro, etc. tq sean :)
Hi Sean,
How would you choose between Edifier TWS 6 (RM199) and NB2(RM279)
Cause my budget is around RM200
Do you think it is worth to get NB2 with that price?
Alright, thanks for your advice!
Love ur videos, keep it up 👍👍
Can it connect to multiple device?
Which are more comfortable: those or Apollo Bold? And how the sound compares?
I must prefer this, Apollo bold is at the verge of pushing on my ears, whereas these are really comfy.
Thank You. Does it have multipoint bluetooth connectivity?
Do you know what does the LED light in the inside and beside the charging port tells you and how it works? I can't seem to understand its blinks
