My first car was a Corsa! £300 from a friend and it was 16 years old!! It was made in 2000 so it had a tape player and manual locks!! It didn't last long and I was around 35 years old! My dream car would be a BMW. I almost bought a mercedes benz but didn't 😅 xx

That's really snidey so you've gone through the motorway company agreed prices then the dealer who have won the bid knocked you down surely that's against the rules of buying via the auction cos technically they're bidding more than what they've got or have in their mind on the premise of once they secure the sale to knock it down with you outside of the auction. Whereas another bidder might have been 100% in bidding what they'd pay you & not knock it down if not pipped to the post by bluffers. I'd have been fuming.
I was not happy at all but was under time pressure. They say on the phone you can decline the offer and it will go to the next highest bidder but I didn’t know how long that would take so couldn’t risk it. It is bad and proves exactly what I was concerned would happen!
