I predict Russian Soldiers will use Siberian Musk Ox this Winter to help defend the Bryansk, Kursk, & Belgorod Oblasts since Chinese Motorcycles & Golf Carts won't be able to navigate the harsh Winter -- like Star Wars, Musk Ox can't be electronically jammed and produce no radar signature for Western anti-tank & missiles.

The Russians should have no interest in driving the Ukrainians out. They should let them in. The longer this Kursk front remains open, the more Ukrainian resources it'll suck. The Russians should really focus on breaking Pokrovsk.

The fact, that Russia hasn't diverted any troops from the main line of contact shows you, that they do exactly that! They know, that it will fizzle out...good PR stunt and it did catch them off guard, but the strain of maintaining this offensive is just too much...2nd and 3rd rate troops have been slowing them already more down, than Kiev would have wanted to be the case

This is not going to happen because:
      1) Putin wants Ukraine out of Russian territory.
      2) FSB is in charge of the operation so their only objective is to secure the border, they dont care about any tactical advantages killboxes might have.
      3) This invasion is doing a massive economic, media and social damage to Russia. Russian authorities just cant let this continue.
      4) Ukrainian losses do not matter. When there's no more Ukrainians to fight Russia there will be other countries ready to fight until their last citizen against Russia.

The offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the Kursk region. has already failed, as it happened last year in the southern direction. Now the stage of Krynka 2.0 has begun with the consistent clearing and picking out of Ukrainian Armed Forces personnel from holes, forests and populated areas. The Ukrainian Armed Forces cannot advance further due to problems with logistics and resources, which are not available for further advancement, much less for the occupation of territories. Meanwhile, the General Staff of the Russian Federation is obtaining information and calculating from which specific directions the Armed Forces of Ukraine have withdrawn troops for the attack on Kursk in order to strike at the most vulnerable places on the front line. Nothing personal and no politics, just military mathematics.

All these advances should be shown the same as the Russian advances towards Kyiv. They aren't taking territory, they are just taking highways, and bypassing everything. No one gave Russia control of all the areas moving towards Kyiv, so why should this be exaggerated by showing they have captured areas that they don't even have troops located in, they just drove passed it???

@@DefensePoliticsAsia I do understand it's a lot of work, I'm just teasing you at this point, but it would be awesome...maybe after the war - if it ever ends - you'll have the time to reconstitute battle after battle. Some history channels do only that. I wished you could do it better and sooner, because your mapping is non partisan and already done daily.
Let's take one example: Gostomel how will the future youtube historians map it? A crushing defeat for Russ VDV, or humiliating slap in the face for Ukraine? The final result of the war should be undeniable,, but the gap between 2 realities is so huge in the day to day news, according to which side you adhere. And the history/military channels are almost all pro Nato, so your or any objective, neutral pov will be welcome.

Zelensky didn't try to prevent the conflict through diplomacy because he lacks honor and integrity.
In 2014 there was a coup. Soon after, there was a massacre in Odessa (dozens of people were burned alive). Ethnic Russians living in Ukraine were treated as subhuman. Their language and culture was being oppressed. A civil war broke out due to the rise in ethnic tensions. For 8 years the Ukrainian military was indiscriminately shelling civilians living in Donbas.
If Zelensky honored the Minsk agreement and pledged neutrality, none of this would have happened. The 8 year civil war would have ended and Donbas would have remained part of Ukraine. War is the ultimate failure of diplomacy.
Zelensky, Poroshenko, Merkel and Hollande admitted that Ukraine had no intention to honor the Minsk agreements.
Who didn't want peace? Who advised against the 2022 peace talks in April? Hint: someone visited Zelensky in Kiev at that time
Russia's national security was compromised once NATO began to expand eastwards. Russia clearly stated that Ukraine joining NATO was a red line (November 2021) and unfortunately this concern was never taken seriously. The Russians openly stated: if nothing changes, we will be forced to act in order to defend our national security. Enhancing the national security of one country at the expense of another is unacceptable. The Russians have legitimate security concerns.
20th September, 2021: Ukraine launched military drills with US and NATO
NATO is not a defensive alliance. NATO illegally bombed Yugoslavia (a direct violation of the U.N. Charter).
We should never forget what they did to Libya, Afghanistan, Iraq etc.
Who blew up the pipeline causing an environmental disaster?
Zelensky banned all opposition and arrested a leading priest.
Zelensky tried to invoke article 5 under false pretenses. Remember the incident in Poland.
Ethnic Russians living in Ukraine were treated as subhuman. Their language and culture was being oppressed.
Poroshenko said, “Our children will go to schools and kindergartens-theirs will hide in the basements”.
Russians will never forget the 2014 Odessa massacre. The whole world needs to know about it.
Why was Denis Kireev eliminated? He was a member of Ukraine's negotiating team during the peace negotiations. He wanted to help his country.
Ukraine has a hit list. They target artists, journalists and ordinary citizens. Hundreds of children are on this list. 13 year old Faina Savenkova was placed on this list.
Pink Floyd's Roger Waters is on this list. Jimmy Dore (American stand-up comedian, podcaster) and Aaron Maté (Canadian writer and journalist) are on this list.
There is evidence that Ukrainian troops have been indiscriminately shelling civilians in Donbas (they used petal mines and targeted areas where there was no military presence).
The azov troops trapped in the azovstal steelworks in Mariupol used human shields. They refused to allow civilians to leave despite of humanitarian corridors being present.
Russia held a proposed cease fire in order for the civilians to leave, but azov would not allow the civilians to leave.
Ukraine has committed many acts of terrorism (car bombs and other forms of assassination). Darya Dugina (journalist) R.I.P.
The first terrorist attack on the Kerch bridge killed the truck driver and the individuals in the adjacent car (innocent civilian victims).
The second terrorist attack on the Kerch bridge killed two parents and severely injured their young daughter.
I have done a lot of research and it took me a long time to write this comment. I have stated a lot of facts and I have given my honest opinion.
I have provided a brief summary of events that took place. In order to explain this whole situation in great detail, a book would need to be written.
Hopefully someone will write an UNBIASED book, stating facts and allowing the readers to form their own judgments. Everything I said can be fact checked and verified.

USA 🇺🇸 will not settle down until Russia is served in a platter. 2.5 years into the war, Russia is still unprepared, the problem with Kursk is that, it houses a nuclear plant, which could be captured by Ukranian troops anyday now. Russia 🇷🇺 is unable to contain the Ukranina troops unless they redeploy their men from the trenches of the East and in Crimea, that is when Ukranian troops will pierce through the Russian defence, using F16 and other modern Western equipment. Krusk is just a first step into Russian disintegration and denuclearization.

    • @Maratreason
      @Maratreason 27 дней назад +3

It depends on the situation. If there are opportunities, they can go further west. It is obvious that Ukraine is a very dangerous state. Their Nazi Azov battalions, which are financed directly from the United States and are US PMCs, have the best American equipment and weapons. These Azov battalions should not exist near the borders of Russia. This is unacceptable. And Ukraine will remain in a reduced size.

In the first few days they made some great gains for almost no investment. But they were unable to take any strategic objective. There is nothing wrong with that though. It was a very nice try and they could have lived to fight another day. Had they stopped there and defended probably they could have been successful. However, due to the PR pressure now they have to keep forcing the issue even when taking massive losses for not enough returns, it is an example of overstaying their welcome. Had they wrapped it up 5 days ago it would have been a huge success. Nowadays this is quickly becoming a suicide mission.

By tomorrow they will have lost over 3000 soldiers as of today they have had 37 tanks. over 250 armored vehicles and transport vehicles
Meaning Ukraine has lost 3 entire battalions in Kursk of these were two mechanized Batallions.
The Russian KNEW weeks in advance and moved two special forces battalions into the Russian kursk region.
These also moved out all civilians and the Ukrainians noticed nothing.
LEARN SOMETHING WANNA BE WARRIOR When Russia announced the Ukrainians were in 480km
The Following day Ukraine seeking that doubled the number as they have done for months BUT YOU ARE SO CARELESS you have never paid attention to the details of a First Report and a Response report that juggles the first reports numbers. Every time Ukraine has reported double effectiveness for many months Just as the reports of their dead have been reduced to next to nothing.
When the US intelligence reports have constantly agreed with Russians reports on Ukrainian dead. And there are two sources for this
I wrote on day 3 that the Ukrainians have created their own self imposed cauldron and the Russians would begin to seal it ONCE the Ukrainians got everything they wanted into this region with two battle hardened Russian Battalions of special forces that had laid up abashments everywhere KNOWING their Objective and the Roads they would use.
HEAR THIS the Ukrainians have no more reserve units to send in Because Russia right now is closing the Cauldron as one giant kill zone.
The 480km on the Third Day has been being reduces daily while Ukrainians are reporting they are expanding seizing more and more villages Just Yesterday the Ukrainians TRIED with small groups (This is how they have been working to pretend they are everywhere
When they have about 16 soldiers per sq km) So Russians were waiting in these pretended easy pickings towns and so when the Ukrainians would roll up with one Bradley and one personnel carrier within minutes both were taken out in each of those five villages and then their squad or so was shot up. and the few survivors RETREATED EACH TIME that was yesterday.
As to their GOAL Ukraine was seeking to Capture the prefectures Nuclear Power paint and a secondary target near it was a facility of nuclear weapons development. THEY WERE HOPING TO GAIN NUCLEAR WEAPONS and then use them to blackmail Russia
Both are IMPOSSIBLE NOW the purpose of this exercise was lost in seven days. When Russian units were no ambushing all vehicles and weapons systems that Ukraine tried to move in deeper. Towards the Power Plant and two round about ways also to get to their goal.
The dead and wounded were all from the finest units Ukraine had left. They can not grow those soldiers back
NATO was so offended about Ukraine's plans when it became apparent THESE FEAR Radioactive cloud drifting over their nations as happened 25 years ago.
I told you get better sources instead of following mappers and Ukrainian reports EVERYONE SHOULD BE SEEING BY NOW everything you have reported in KURSK has been false

The power plant is miles away though. That is why they are trying their best to out maneuver the Russians and doing some encirclements. They are trying their best to squeeze through every single road they can but each road they go they end up being detected by a drone and decimated by artillery fire. And they won't even talk about it! The media is silent about the losses!

Goal of Ukraine is not to conquer and seize territory. It was preemptive strike. Goal is to widen territory beetween russian line and Sumy. Russians were preparing to go on Sumy. They prepared 75.000 troops for that operation. They have to cross, let say,80km from border to city of Sumy. Now,they have to cross 120km to city of Sumy. In wich they will conquere first their own terrytory first. While doing that they will lose their momentum and breeaching power. In the end, they will only come to the border. In that case,Ukraine will not lose anything. That is the real goal of this operation. Its so simple.

Damage to Putins narrative that Russia can defeat the Ukrainians at any time, that youg boy conscripts would not have to die on the front line, nothing, really, read some military history.

The elite Ukrainian 82 and 80 brigades have already been withdrawn to be replenished due to heavy losses. And yesterday their defense collapsed in the Pokrovsky direction. Our troops advanced 6 km to the west and south.

Kursk is not of any importance at all. It is worse than a Pyrrhic victory and absolutely not sustainable. They threw in their best reserves and maybe the last reserves they have while their important fortifications are being destroyed and conquered. Once Pokrovsk falls things will change dramatically. While Kursk won't change anything. The Russians can allow the Ukrainians to go in deeper and overstretch them because there are no reserves for a lasting occupation while Russia has the reserves to crush the Ukrainian forces.
"After the battle of Asculum the armies separated; and, it is said, Pyrrhus replied to one that gave him joy of his victory that one other such victory would utterly undo him. For he had lost a great part of the forces he brought with him, and almost all his particular friends and principal commanders; there were no others there to make recruits, and he found the confederates in Italy backward. On the other hand, as from a fountain continually flowing out of the city, the Roman camp was quickly and plentifully filled up with fresh men, not at all abating in courage for the loss they sustained, but even from their very anger gaining new force and resolution to go on with the war."
    - Plutarch, Life of Pyrrhus

'Slava ukraine' this is a Nazi slogan. I know that in the West they don’t know anything about this. When Ukrainian nationalists, accomplices of the german nazis, during the Second World War, when they went to shoot Poles and Jews (women, children, old people, it doesn’t matter) in large ditches, they shouted this slogan 'Slava ukraine, smert vragam'. I know that in the West they have not heard anything about this. Because They don’t even know what the Second World War is. Therefore, be careful with these slogans.
