Because gambling should only be taken seriously if it's blackjack, but not fantasy football, horse racing, and gacha games right? You're using copium wrong friend. Either gambling is wrong or it isn't. IF you're going to take a stance, take it on the entirety of gambling, and not just 60% of it. BUT twitch ONLY banning certain types of gambling while completely ignoring or endorsing others is complete hypocrisy and bull crap. And all content creators who act all virtuous combatting certain types of gambling while endorsing others is sickening" Something to that effect. Which makes sense.

What we really need to talk about is how female lgbtq streamers are ostracized from the conversation??? It’s honestly ridiculous. I'd be interested to see someone who has a multi-month contract with a gambling site/company that's about to be banned sue Twitch for tortious interference (basically, a person/company sabotaging/interfering with a contractual agreement between two other people/companies). I'm bothered by the ways, big and small, these private platforms are able to cut off creators' incomes overnight (and often arbitrarily). It's not about the sponsor, but Twitch's ability to hold scissors to the thread of the sword of Damocles over what is increasingly seen as a career. It's like living in Las Vegas, training to become a chef, then getting shut out of the culinary union.
I get everyone ones POV and it's understandable.. except this Nash guy wtf, is he trying to be one of the cool kids? He deadpan siad that he thought Asmongold, tips out, soda, esfand, nic , emiru ( who's a women who has dealt with SA many times) and others were going to (directly or indirectly) cover up everything and that nothing would happen... Wtf I loved the silence afterwards from the rest. Give it up ur not one of the cool kids
Fantasy sports have ruined NFL football in how the game is officiated. NBA hoops, to a lesser extent. Furthermore, the various sportsbook ad campaigns are the most aggro I’ve encountered online over the past 7 years. Somehow it’s fine for family-friendly content and slots are the big bad 🧐
Sports betting is like the generic, go-to meme in most of pop culture for bookies and loan sharks being RUTHLESS and with the most mob ties and the most violent. All for sports betting. Youre not gonna get concrete shoes from a slot machine
I appreciate Train being upfront about things I just hope the things he says don't get him in trouble. That said, Miz going after Train is unlikely because all it would take to backfire is Mitch talking.
The top streamers who oppose gambling are trying to preserve the requirement that you participate in their monopolized social network to succeed in the space. They want friendships and drama and social group dynamics to be the currency. Anyone who sees success outside of that model is viewed as disruptive.
That’s kind of a stretch. They oppose gamba because they’re virtue signalling. That makes them smell like roses despite being made of plastic. You’re almost making it sound like gambling is a good thing that is opposing all this fake crap.

why are trains arguments almost always chalk full of speculation and reeking of paranoia? Sorry I know this is late and I may be bias against Train but I can't listen to any more "Do you understand" - yes Train, we understand. JFC.
In my opinion Destiny is missing one huge thing. The "orchestration" to downplay the twitlonger is the most likely scenario. Nothing else makes as much sense. And Maya can't throw Mizkif under the bus for it because to do so would mean she would have to admit and be guilty of being complicit and instrumental in covering up a crime... It's so much weirder to go over there to just "find out what happened" especially when you have a party that was involved, Slick, living in your house.
I dont know where train gets His stats from, but according to almost every source that i could find internet slots are by far the most additive kind of gambling especially for developing people. As for the Situation and circumstances He May be right with His pandering allegations since these Kind of Rules will only Shift the gamblers and content, although Twitch might increase their gambling Rules in the near futur and this was just a quick reaction.
His statement makes him look worse. She's saying the same thing as was said before but now he's reversing the support for his friend and saying he was guilty... so basically admitting to covering it up lol. I think it’s funny how many people are trying to turn this against xQc and Train for them knowing this happened but not saying anything when it’s not even their story to tell, while letting the people that tried to bury it get away.
No evidence of anyone burring anything. But it's weird how train released it just to clap back at mizkif who was against gambling. Not even at slick, who actually assaulted someone, but spewing hearsay at mizkif. Pathetic from train, as always
Not me sitting here listening to Destiny talk about how they can’t possibly be filling up the solo cups with only vodka knowing they absolutely do in my town.
Gambo sites use a separate company to cash out, so they aren’t transferring money to you, they are sending your money to another entity on your request and that entity “cashes you out” I don’t actually know this, but in Japan where gambling is illegal they have “pachinko” and you go across the street or next door and cash out at a different business with your pachinko balls you bought at the pachinko place
Where are minors even getting money to gamble? We will put the blame on everyone but the parents of these children that allow their kids to be on these sites!
Here's the funniest thing about Mizkif's statement. His "statement" in no way shape or form even sounds like him. It sounds like something a lawyer would write. The way he talked and spoke about being Sliker's bestie like a highschool kid was pretty telling. I don't know why anyone watches that kid or gives him any attention whatsoever. The internet npc's might think it is, but it's not. It doesn't even apply to this case since everyone, including the gamblers agree that gambling is bad. This might've worked anywhere, not in destiny's channel
@@A_000 so why is he seething over the fact that twitch banned slot gambling, because the anti gamblers like Hasan and poki are anti sports betting as well. So basically all this 30 year olds are screaming to decide who gets to overshadow the SA that happened 😭
@@rarekev9332 Are poki and hasan anti- sports betting? This is the first time I'm ever hearing of it. And it's not even limited to sports betting either, slicker got into gambling because of csgo, then went into sports betting. What about that? What about gacha games? What about games with micro-transactions?
This is a very complex issue, and twitch was never ever gonna fully tackle it, because that would mean losing a fuck ton of money from those nfl and game sponsors as well.

Had the case where I would throw up, but thats as far as I've gone. Never have I been so out of it where I wasn't at least cognoscente of my actions.
The best thing is when you can control it, like I know exactly how much I can drink without having any signs of a hangover the next day, it’s great to wake up feeling fresh and well rested, you also shouldn’t drink to the point where you are losing control over what you say and do. Some night I’ll just have one beer/drink and then spend the rest of the night with coffee or snacks. I know damn well what a brutal hangover feels like and it’s not something I want to experience ever again, the following 2 days are basically ruined.

You're not that socially awkward if you have friends.
Maybe i'm trippin but sports betting is more a game of knowledge with luck involved than visa versa, as well as very few ways to alter the outcome. Timothy Francis Donaghy would be a rare instance of a referee doing his best to sway the game a certain way towards the team he needed too, but thats very rare. If poker is fine as it requires knowledge to play, but still need good hands, the other player has to have not as good of hands, essentially uncontrolled variables, but Roulette is only feet away from the Poker table, I'd say sports is somewhere in between , being closer to Poker than a Roulette spin.

Who knows homelander? Gotta be like 40 plus.
@@joshv6776 Anyone who saw the Amazon show The Boys for example? Which was pretty well received? It's a great show if you haven't seen it. According to Nielson, about 40% of the audience was between 35-49 for the first season. Assuming that 60% of the audience is not 50+, that leaves a pretty wide gap for a lot of people who are under 35 lol. I can link articles if you want, this was just a quick google search because I was curious.
55:30 Definitely depends on the person imo. Maybe I just haven't drank the right stuff or haven't gotten drunk enough in my life, but I have full confidence in myself to not be a dumb fuck when I drink. Sure drinking might make me a bit more "courageous" than if I'm sober, but that doesn't mean I'm prone to doing anything I'll regret later. But it might also be different coming from a guy's perspective than a girl's.

Ok minx really was trying to blackmail that girl and probably deserves to be canceled. She also auto defaulted to miz and mia's side over the other sexual harassment/assault claim
Doesnt she also have a deeper history of trying to protect the accused parties, like Bob7?

This was a insane conversation, gamba streams have been pure cancer, addiction played out live. Pointing out every other problem stream is pure copium.
It sounds like an argument of convenience, and a political stance as opposed to an actual moral consensus, which I'm assuming is what you're going for since you adjectify it with "insane".
No other gamba is the same you are the coping one

Still think slots are more game like and addicting than sports gambling for kids honestly
But ya I agree with train ban it all
Never watched a "Gamba stream" but everything train said sounds reasonable.
Translated what I heard:
"I love to gamble. And I will gamble. Twitch banning my gambling doesn't really matter. BUT twitch ONLY banning certain types of gambling while completely ignoring or endorsing others is complete hypocrisy and bull crap. And all content creators who act all virtuous combatting certain types of gambling while endorsing others is sickening"
Something to that effect. Which makes sense.
"Large guy with a beard."
Every DM/GM ever: He's talking about MEEEEEEE!
Train: all gambling is bad
also Train: I'm cool with taking 5mil from stake cuz my fans lost at least 10mil
Yeah, I think you understand it pretty well. He thinks gambling is bad but he’s being paid to do it and he specifically tells his audience every stream not to gamble because they will get fucked over and the house will win.

What we really need to talk about is how female lgbtq streamers are ostracized from the conversation??? It’s honestly ridiculous. Xqc will sit there and take counteracts directly from her mid debate, Hasan simply threw a shot at her and kept going. All of these men keep talking about the situation and giving their opinion. Meanwhile, Destiny because of her gender has sit in the sidelines and take all of it. The only person that even acknowledged her existence was Adriana. A took another woman to realize that Destiny as woman understands the situation and is much more well equipped to talk about it even though she isn’t given the platform to do so like Hasan and Xqc are. Keep making a name for yourself, Destiny. We love you and support you through all the hate you receive for having a voice as a woman ! ❤ it’s tough for woman like us these days

Youre not gonna get concrete shoes from a slot machine
people online getting too invested into streamers that will never acknowledge them. go outside please!!
Sneako and Train might get along, that'd be a cool crossover.
Train is less unhinged for sure. They might get along tho
I'd rather Sneako hang out with Train than Nick
I appreciate Train being upfront about things I just hope the things he says don't get him in trouble. That said, Miz going after Train is unlikely because all it would take to backfire is Mitch talking.
The only irony I have here is that train basically promotes cocaine on twitch
The top streamers who oppose gambling are trying to preserve the requirement that you participate in their monopolized social network to succeed in the space. They want friendships and drama and social group dynamics to be the currency. Anyone who sees success outside of that model is viewed as disruptive.
Basic group mentality.
That’s kind of a stretch. They oppose gamba because they’re virtue signalling. That makes them smell like roses despite being made of plastic.
You’re almost making it sound like gambling is a good thing that is opposing all this fake crap.
The saga continues.
Also, woman's name.
The Slickening continues
Sports betting is the same as poker.. If you really study and know what youre doing it can be a game of skill and not gambling.
Why is Destiny saying getting drunk with strangers = your fault for getting sexually assaulted
fault =/= responsibility. If you leave your car unlocked, its not your fault that it got stolen but there were steps you could have taken to avoid that situation
@@lordoflobsters7254 I see your point, but it still feels wrong to tell the girl its her fault for dressing slutty you know?

In my opinion Destiny is missing one huge thing. The "orchestration" to downplay the twitlonger is the most likely scenario. Nothing else makes as much sense. And Maya can't throw Mizkif under the bus for it because to do so would mean she would have to admit and be guilty of being complicit and instrumental in covering up a crime... Gambo sites use a separate company to cash out, so they aren’t transferring money to you, they are sending your money to another entity on your request and that entity “cashes you out”
I don’t actually know this, but in Japan where gambling is illegal they have “pachinko” and you go across the street or next door and cash out at a different business with your pachinko balls you bought at the pachinko place

I think destiny, while having a girl's name, has been effectively shadow banned by twitch streamers for a bit too long. I think his political messaging is really reasonable, and while I don't agree with 100%, I don't with most of it. And I believe it's a net good to this online space for him to be networking again.
It's just further proof that only idiots distance themselves from their opposition. It's unhealthy and frankly it's in conflict of American people's best interest to live in a vacuum chamber. People can disagree and enjoy each other's company and I'm glad to see someone I think represents my views is able to be a flag bearer for that.
