In this video I wanted to try using my cell activator background I use with my floating blooms with a transfer bloom. I hope this video is helpful and inspiring for you and you enjoy watching this half as much as I enjoyed creating it!

PM to Paint measurement (ESTIMATE!):
1.5oz (45ml) PM to between 1/4 tsp (1.25ml) to a 1/2 tsp (2.5ml) paint to start (for heavy body paints). If too thin or needs more color add a little more paint (or even a gel gloss), if too thick add a little more PM to thin more.

Love this color palette and that crackle effect only wish you would use a pigment or something transparent under the gold ca on the background to really make it pop like that iridescent blue green would have looked amazing under the gold swiped background!! I love doing swipes under my transfers too it just gives it a little something extra but that one section you pointed out was insane so beautiful with all the layers and dimension it created! Just wow! Great work my friend 🤗🥰🎨

I was thinking about this idea of adding something to the crackle effect that would keep it but also give it more dimension and I thought hmm I bet a ghost / interference pigment would look awesome under the gold!! This way it's not another color screaming in the background but when you move it you would see whatever ghost color you had used!
Hi Jodi, what do you use for your transfer board? Also, if you used the Glidden house paint for your pillow, have you ever or are you able to tint that for other background colors with any problems?

Hi Dee - Thank you so much 🤗 I’m glad you enjoyed them. My transfer board is just a wood cradle board you can get at any art store, they have packs at Michaels of different sizes that’s what I’m using here. You can tint the Glidden but you would need to get the lowest base to do that. If you put color into the white pillow you’ll just get a pale version of that color. I’ve done that on this channel with black, the video should be on my experiments playlist. You could also have them tint it for you at the store if you want but I just prefer to tint my own. 💜
