Id was laughing my ass off when you two said the food was okay, glad you did, i was a dishwasher there several years ago, the GM danny Ferguson and his kitchen staff needs help on the food menu. Glad you two enjoyed the stay... Next stop. Flagstaff, Arizona where i am and lives!!
Thanks for the video. I am planning another trip to Big Bend this spring. What is the name of that electrical monitoring plug inside your trailer that you pointed out - I like the colored light alarm system, it's a nice backup to the surge protector.
Thanks for watching! Big Bend is awesome. The thing we use to monitor our electricity in the RV is typically called an "electrical plug receptacle tester". It can be found on Amazon or any home store...
Enjoyed this so much. We were there in June, 2019. Yes it was so hot. I would love to go in the late fall. Your video was better memories than our photos!
Yes, we have always used the wet bath. Not ideal but we figure you only shower for a few minutes per day and we appreciate that the space was devoted to the kitchen and not a stand up shower.
Great vijeo! We are not really into very hot weather camping, unless we are at a beach. I may opt for twin A/c if we plan on hot weather travels or for the occasional very hot day during a time of more temperate weather. My wife does not do extreme heat well unless her feet are in the ocean.
We're in New England so we almost never use our Air Conditioner. In fact, we usually have to make a conscious decision to run it just to ensure the compressor and seals engage. I think that's why it worked so well in 105 degree heat.
@@LuvSubbin ONLY in the Winter Months unless you love 100+ degree weather. If you want to go in the winter make reservations very early as that is peak season in Big Bend. If you don't like crowds and love the heat go there in August; you will have the place all to yourself. LOL

Thanks for watching and giving us a laugh as well. We've hit 43 states and Arizona is on the list to visit someday. We cannot wait.
City folks huh... Looks like a pretty nice campground set up.
Thanks for watching but "city folks"? We live on a dirt road in Vermont. Del Rio, Texas has over twice the population of our nearest town...
Lol... that explains everything.
Will be going to Terlingua which is around in that area of Big Bend to look at some parcels of land.Big Bend looked marvelous!
Thanks for watching! Yes, Big Bend was spectacular!
Silly question, did you arrange to be out there on a moon less night? It's probably the best stargazing spot in the continental U.S..
wow it looks incredible there
Thanks for watching! It actually is very beautiful.

Big Bend is on our list to visit. Thanks for the campground review. Thank you so much for sharing!
Thanks for watching. It was incredibly beautiful. Not sure I would recommend June and the 105 degree temperature though...

In the year 2000
Thanks for the advice, have now added to the list to visit. Am enjoying following along on your road trip.
You can fry an egg on that blacktop! Nice video
Hmmm. I should have tried that except wasting food drives me crazy... Thanks for watching!
Some I am guessing you guys shower in the wet bath?
